Great place! Felt at home. Cool amenities and everything you need for a few nights or a week! Bed was comfortable and enjoyed sitting in front of the fireplace. Very friendly host!

Our family of four had an amazing stay at this beautiful home in Pine, AZ! The house was immaculate and had everything we needed for a comfortable getaway. The newer appliances were in excellent condition, making cooking and meal prep a breeze. The wrap-around porch was a highlight—it was fully sealed, making it perfect for our dogs, and included a hot tub and grill for relaxing evenings. The backyard was also fenced, giving us peace of mind with our pups. We loved having wood for the fireplace, which made the chilly evenings cozy. my kids are a little too old, but The little playhouse in the front yard is great, complete with a TV and bean bag chairs— The location is incredibly convenient, with a gas station, market, restaurants, and shops just a short drive away. The host was extremely responsive and helpful, making the entire experience seamless. We would highly recommend this property.

This is such a peaceful little cabin. There's a town but it isn't close to the cabin so you get to embrace all the quiet. I loved all the charm this place had. There was a lot if quirky things which made it so much fun to explore. I loved all the little touches Sarah did as well. The porch was very nice, a good place to unwind. The backyard was huge there was so much open space. Sarah communicated amazingly, she was on top of everything and fixed the little problems that came up. Our stay couldn't have been better. I highly recommend booking your next stay here.

This stay was absolutely beautiful. It’s a bit of a drive to anywhere but that’s apart of the appeal, there is wildlife and a sense of peace. We had a great stay and would stay again.

The carefree cabin was awesome to stay in! I agree with all the comments that if you are going to walk around barefooted, you will be cold because of the floors, so wear socks or something but the many heaters that were available warmed the cabin up pretty well. The hot tub was perfect and private which was neat. Heber offers some pretty good local eats; the red onion and ponderosa café was delicious! There’s also a circle K right down the street that’s 24 hours, which is nice to have available. It is an awesome place to stay in!

Nice peaceful getaway spot to hide from fast pace world

We were looking for a quiet place to spend some time out of town and this was just what we needed.

Second time staying in Pine, first time at Lindsay and Lance’s place. We chose it for the fenced backyard for our dogs and the kitchen. Nothing disappointed! Very clean, as listed, heater worked great and fast. Saw elk most days. The doggie door made things easy with and fit our Aussie and German shepherd. While I don’t care for memory foam mattresses, I was pleasantly surprised that the main bed didn’t give me back pain (something that has happened in other rentals). I fell asleep quickly and slept soundly! For those who plan to cook a lot, the kitchen is well stocked; I’d just recommend bringing any spices. Another plus of the home is that it’s just a couple of blocks away from the neighborhood pass through to the Pine-Strawberry trail (off Mohawk before you get to Tonto, shows up on AllTrails map). Great stay, would stay again next time we’re in Pine.

I was only there for one night, but I would go go back. House was clean, and liked the fenced in back yard. Thank you!!

Christmas stay was great with the family. The area is peaceful and was amazing getting to see Elk in the mornings and evening. Kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our meals and home had enough space for 8 people and pets. The bed we got wasn’t the best but everyone else was raving about how comfortable their bed was. The games on the first floor were great to have with teens. We did have some issues during our stay and Michael was able to get everything straightened out. From a clogged sink, fireplace wouldn’t turn on and downstairs heat not working properly, once we let Michael know he took care of everything. After that the trip was amazing! Would recommend this cabin for your next trip.

A few of my siblings and I wanted to get away for a couple of days and came upon this cabin. It was beautiful, the cabin was just as advertised. Clean, peaceful, and had everything we needed. We didn't have to go into town for anything. Caroline was super helpful and even made sure the fire nearby that was going on before our stay wasn't going to affect us. We definitely want to come back and make this cabin an annual siblings trip spot.

Place is cozy and has a beautiful view. We enjoyed our stay so much and would love to be back.

I think beauty and peace best describe our stay at DMR. Arizona has so much to offer and this amazing quiet corner outside of Payson is quite something. Gino is an outstanding host and individual with so much knowledge of the land and history of, not only Mead Ranch but the entire area. Our cabin was very very comfortable and the envy of my coworkers after returning to work in January and sharing getaways. Gino also showed us the gorgeous renovation he is working on now, a 2nd cabin on the property - can not wait to see it completed in late spring, early summer. I will be a return customer, hands down. We were looking for a quiet place to relax and received much more. The property had board games, arcade games, games for outside, a fully stocked kitchen, a hot tub, and Kathyann's exceptional service. We definitely would stay again and look forward to anytime we are looking to relax.

We were in Pine/Strawberry for my son’s wedding and needed a place close to the venue. This place was perfect! Heather is awesome! So pleasant to deal with and very accommodating!! I don’t have a single negative thing to report about our stay! We even saw several elk roaming nearby! Highly, highly recommend!!!

We had a great stay at the cabin. The moment we arrived Brook was very responsive and the cabin was well stocked, comfortable, not to mention beautiful surrounded by the tall pines! We enjoyed the loft area with our family, as there were plenty of games to play and the hiking trail was great to do. Everything was clean, organized well and the kitchen had everything we needed. The pillows and beds were also very comfy. I would definitely recommend to stay here and would love to return again :)

Great stay! Perfect little place for us during the holidays to visit my parents that live in Heber. The bed was very comfortable!! Heater couldn’t keep up real well with the cold but it was fine, especially with the nice blankets available. Everything was clean and welcoming. Christmas decor was a welcoming touch when we arrived!

This cabin was awesome! Very private and quiet, exactly what we were looking for. We also appreciated the fenced in yard for the dogs so we didn’t have to constantly be watching them to made sure they hadn’t wandered off. The cabin was very comfortable and well equipped. We spent a lot of time on the deck relaxing and enjoying the sights and sounds of nature. The king size bed downstairs was so comfortable, it was hard to get out of bed.

Our stay at the cabin was great. The cabin itself was very nice and clean. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to going back when it gets a little warmer. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

This beautiful mountain oasis is just like the pictures you see. Felt comfortable enough for all four adults in our group. We had hot water and the heating worked well during our winter stay. Best of all, nothing beats that gorgeous view in the yard!
