Holiday rentals with a patio in Modave

Lovely apartment with everything we needed. My husband lived in Maastricht for some years so knew his way around. The apartment is right on the river but very private and only a short stroll into the city. It was close to plenty of restaurants and shops, and Philmar offered a couple of bikes free of charge if we wanted them. There was everything in the apartment you could need, including tea, coffee, milk, sugar, buscuits, even a bottle of wine and a couple of beers, as well as all the usual things. Philmar was on hand for any queries or problems, not that we had any, but we also had complete privacy while we were there. We have used bnb since around 2017, and both of us agreed this was up there in the top 2. We will definitely book here again. Many thanks to Philmar, her husband and their dog.

Good accommodation, compliant and adequate for one night, in the basement of a family home. The only thing to know is that if you measure more than about 1m85, you will almost touch the ceiling! 🙂

The very nice place and everything was smooth

This is a great place for a small getaway from everyday life. Clean, tidy and well equipped with everything needed. Super easy checkin and very friendly welcome from Claude and Christian.

We loved staying here. It was right in town. The balcony was huge and nicely set up. The space was nicely laid out to spend time in.

Excellent stay and great value for money. The property is as described and the pictures are accurate. Clean, comfortable and felt a safe space. The property is not in central Liege, but there is a bus stop two minutes walking which takes around 20 minutes to get into the centre and also stops right outside the train station. There is technically no parking, but the surrounding streets are ‘green zones’, meaning parking is free of charge providing you are not causing an obstruction. There are tram lines outside the property, but they have not gone ‘live’ yet (April 2025) so you can park right outside if you wish. Access to the property was straight forward, with the lock box access code given prior to arrival. The host was very responsive to questions and came across very friendly. The surrounding area does not have much going on in terms of bars. There is a lovely burger restaurant around the corner called Din’O Burger which I would recommend, they also deliver. Would stay again!

Beautiful location in a quiet village. Ideal for hikes (pay attention in hunting season!) Parking for 3 cars, modern comfortable house with the necessary amenities. The host was clear in his communication.

We had a really pleasant stay at this Apartment. Laurence is a really nice and friendly host. The Apartment is nice and cozy and exactly how she described it. We really enjoyed staying at the pool. Our stay was simply amazing! The accommodation is impeccable, exactly as in the photos, very well maintained, clean and with all the necessary items for a comfortable stay. The host was extremely attentive, helpful and quick to respond, ensuring that everything was perfect for our trip. We felt very welcome.

Great impromptu stay. Impeccable, simple and warm accommodation. Very suitable for children. Fresh eggs and pets are a major asset, especially with children. The sauna and games area is another. Lots to discover in the area at +or- 1h. Host recommendations are top notch. We would recommend.

We look back on a few very relaxing days in Gîtes Doyard, either the stay of host Bert. The contact is already good from the beginning, the house is spacious and equipped with every comfort, the location is really fantastic. The large garden, where the spacious jacuzzi is located in a screened area, invites you to spend the whole day during beautiful spring days. But also visit the area: Houffalize, Bastogne (impressive war museum) Durbuy and La Roche are some recommendations. We are also joining returning visitors for this nice holiday home in the Ardennes. Great stay, Maïté and Peter were very welcoming. The place is like the pictures, full of charm and tastefully decorated. There is everything you need, the kitchen is very well equipped (oil, spices, etc.) The accommodation is well located within walking distance of restaurants and walking paths. As two years ago, we enjoyed our stay very much.

For a first BnB experience, I was not disappointed at all. Sergio is a friendly, smiling host, always at your disposal and with whom you could talk to for hours. The apartment is clean, close to shops and in a very quiet area of the city. The only small shadow on the board (but which is totally independent from Sergio) is the hardship of opening the locks. We can sometimes spend several minutes there before being able to open one of the 2 mandatory doors to access his home. It is urgent that the building owner intervenes. With that, I have a beer to drink with Sergio soon
