Holiday rentals with lake access in Minnesota River

We loved the lake house! Peaceful and Quiet, also has Beautiful view of the lake. The house was spot on in the pictures as it was in person. The Host Lisa was great and responded right away. We can't wait to come back in the summer to enjoy the lake.

We are living in a very small house while we build a house. We did not have room to have our five children and families to celebrate Christmas. Although it was a very unique Christmas for us, it could not have been a better experience while we wait for our home to be done. We have a one year old grandson and wondered if we needed to bring all the stuff for him. They literally had it all, crib, highchair, toys - made our stay easier and we had one happy little boy! Antoine was great to work with. Our family had a great time and we thank Antoine for sharing his home and make everything run smoothly.

Absolutely loved our fall getaway at the cottage! Beautiful park and boardwalk paths to walk the dog around. We rented the pontoon and other toys to enjoy boat rides, fishing, and canoe trips to the island. And loved having fires by the lake at night, Was the perfect spot for a weekend away with the family before winter arrives!

My coworkers and I stayed here most of the week. It was a great place for us to unwind in the evening after long days of meetings. We would definitely recommend and will most likely use again when more than two of uscome into town.

Beautiful! Thank you Josh. Beautiful home. Fit us nicely. Beds were very comfortable. Fireplace was lovely with the cool windy weather we had! A heads up for future guests- there is no dining room table. There are stools around the island for eating. If you plan to have sit down meals, play games etc, not able to at this property. There is a table on the deck overlooking the lake, but the weather wasn’t conducive to using the deck.

This was an older home full of charm and character. It was very clean and spacious, very clean, and was very well equipped. Location was excellent and communication with our hosts was outstanding. Would stay again.

We had a great stay here for our annual girl’s weekend. The set-up was perfect, and Brooke was great to work with- she accommodated a later departure time and even left muffins and fruit to welcome our group! Would love to stay here again in the summer and definitely recommend Brooke and her home to others. Thank you!

Amin was an awesome host! It was a last minute booking for myself after having to vacate my place due to a fire. Amin was quick to respond and get the booking confirmed and I was able to check in asap! They were super respectful, kind and the rental was perfect for what I needed. I loved the amenities, open living area/space, multiple places to either work, do some designing/crafting or just sit back and watch movies. The bathroom and shower were spot on. The bedroom and the bed were perfect, especially for anyone who needs complete darkness during the day if you work odd hours as well. Was nice to be able to park inside due to it being winter, but was able to still get out with my dog and walk around the lake! Which my dog misses already. We went and walked and played with other dogs on the lake actually when it was snowing! Washer/dryer/dish washer all were awesome as well! I would totally stay there again or recommend it to family/friends year round! Close to everything too!

Richard's place was easy to find and just as advertised. The pictures don't lie and the place was spotless. They even go so far as to provide a few snacks for you during your stay. 10/10

everything was great! the little thing you pull to turn on the shower took several tries to get it to work, but otherwise A+++! thanks Paul

The location was great. We like being by the lakes and had stayed in the Linden Hills area before. Kevin’s place is just a block from the Bde Maka Ska so there are lots of places to walk or ride your bike. There is on street parking right outside the front door. Kevin and Sue were exceptionally hospitable and went out of their way to make our stay more enjoyable. The apartment was immaculate, quiet and dark at night. The walk in shower was great. The kitchen was well equipped, although we did not use it, choosing to go out to some excellent nearby restaurants instead.

Easily the best Airbnb I’ve stayed at in Minneapolis. Pictures are accurate. Comfortable beds. Pristinely clean. Access to a washer/dryer was great. Would absolutely stay again next time. Would love to come in the summer to enjoy the backyard and walking around the lakes.

This Airbnb suited our needs very well. It was clean, spacious, and easy to find within the city. Would definitely utilize again in the future The one note I would make is regarding the single garage. To be clear-it is ONLY suitable for a very compact car. While the single stall is standard, the alley space to jockey *into* the garage is extremely tight (there is a fence on the opposite side of the garage, so little room to navigate). We were unable to use it for our small SUV. Street parking was available, and that presented no problems during our stay.

I enjoyed my time here. Great location with a beautiful park right across the street. Kari was very accommodating and easy to communicate with. I would recommend this spot anyone!

This is now one of my favorite places to stay ever! Downtown Apt #1 is charming, comfortable, & in a great location in Sleepy Eye a couple of doors down from a great brewery. Will definitely stay again next time I come to the New Ulm area!

Laura is such a thoughtful and gracious host! The carriage house is absolutely charming - bright, spacious, peaceful, and private. I felt extremely safe and comfortable throughout my stay. A perfect cozy winter weekend hideaway!

Our time at Rachel and Jacob’s cabin was as advertised…a comfortable cabin with clean rooms, all listed amenities and a quiet location for our time in MN. The frozen lake complete with fish houses and other winter activities was enjoyable to watch and we hope to return to participate in the summer offerings sometime in the future. J&J

Beautiful lake front property with dock, kid friendly, lots of yard for activities. Cabin was super clean and welcoming. Park with on walking distance for the kids. We will book again!

Absolutely loved this place!!! Simply adorable and gorgeous views! The sunsets were amazing! The water was perfectly clear... very quiet area! I want to retire and move here; unfortunately, I did not win the lottery last night..LOL. We will definitely come back!! Would love to bring the grandkids; the bunkbeds are very cute!! Oh and the hosts were very responsive!!!

While the space was exactly as described, fit our needs and was cute and quaint, Virgil was an excellent host. He communicated as necessary and went above and beyond in recommending local places and events. We enjoyed a great long weekend as a family and had fun taking in all the area has to offer.

We had a beautiful and relaxing weekend at Laura’s. The deck has an amazing view of the lake, and was great for stargazing at night. Our kids loved watching the boats go by and playing with bubbles outside. Perfect for our weekend trip!

We now stay at this cozy cottage yearly for a family, mother/daughter trip. My husband and I are also interested in staying for our own romantic get away sometime. It is the perfect blend of city perks combined with a wooded, lake view natural environment. We also loved enjoying the huge hot tub outside right in the middle of winter. It was a joy all around that we can’t wait to enjoy again and keep recommending!

Such an incredible space to stay!! The porch was perfect for the late night conversations, the lake was perfect for the kiddos, and the amenities in the house were exactly what we needed. The only thing they didn’t have that we had to buy was seasoning for cooking.
