Beachfront holiday rental in Milo

Good morning Jason. This "Hideaway on Hobart" was by far the coziest, cleanest stay I have ever experienced. Thank you for being so responsive at check-in. Thank you for listing this sweet place. I told my husband that we must return. Everyone who was here when I went dog walking was friendly. Boy, do I miss the lake life, yes, even in the winter. So much serenity this time of year! ❄️🤗

This was a well thought out vacation rental that had everything a person needed for a comfortable stay. Finding the place, checking in and out was easy. After we checked in Cate e-mailed to see if there was anything we needed. I would not hesitate to rent this house again

If you like lake life, this is a great spot for you. We are cooks and the kitchen was everything we needed it to be. With each bedroom full having two common areas was nice. The view made us feel at home. Looking forward to future visits if the stars align.

We had an amazing time and the boathouse was such a cool thing to do. Definitely a great experience ❤️

We had the most wonderful weekend at the lake! This was perhaps the most accommodating home we have stayed in. Heidi and Emily are offering everything -- from the fireplace (already stocked with wood), to a canoe, to lawn games, a dedicated dog area outdoors, and an amazingly well-stocked library. This house truly has it all. It was the perfect location for our 9-member family vacation for grandparents, parents, kids, and 2 dogs. We loved every moment. The house has a great, sprawling layout that seems to go on forever! That means the 3 back bedrooms are quiet, and the door in between them and the living area is great for the early risers while the late sleepers snooze. There are so many nooks for hanging out and having side conversations while still feeling a part of the group, but also a few areas to go for some solitude. We really couldn't have asked for anything more than this home offers. And the views of the lake, both from the home and from the beach/dock, can't be beat!

The host was extremely helpful and responsive. The place was immaculate! We booked on short notice and arrived with everything taken care off. We were there in the “off season” must only get better “in season”.

My partner and I hoped to get some R&R before the holidays, and Leora’s lake house 100% delivered. It was as peaceful and picturesque as we were hoping for, and we even caught the “we want to live on the lake now” bug because of how beautiful the home and views were. Leora was also a fantastic host - friendly, attentive, and responsive. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

This was a perfect place to stay! Everything was very clean and has enough room for a big group of people. The views are amazing & could not recommend enough!! Host are super responsive as well!

Great, clean, spacious place! The rooms, kitchen, and bathroom were supplied with everything we needed. Felt at home and the place is so warm! This place seems like it’d be great for summer/spring time. 15 minutes to Ithaca. Only negative thing was that there was a dog barking constantly, not sure if it was the owner or a guest, but our dog was too scared to go out and potty throughout the entire day.

Scottland Yard Farm is amazing. We had the most comfortable sleep we have ever had "glamping". The tent was roomy, the bed was comfortable, and it was super helpful to have a heated blanket, fan, and a fridge in our space. The communal areas are great too! I was very pleasantly surprised by how nice the bathrooms, kitchen, and laundry spaces were. The animals were adorable and overall I would highly recommend staying here!

We were blown away by our beautiful stay over the weekend. My 2 close friends and I spent the weekend to celebrate a bachelorette party. The pictures do not do this spot justice- it is majestic! We especially enjoyed spending time by the koi pond, the quiet and peaceful atmosphere, the animals and the adorable shops on the property. I would highly recommend for a getaway very close to Ithaca, NY.

Alison’s home was even more lovely than the photos! My family of four (all adults) spent the weekend and it was absolutely perfect. The property was so beautiful and private. The swimming pond, gardens, walking trails, patios and sauna gave us plenty of opportunity for both exploring and relaxing. The house is so comfortable and had everything we needed. Alison, Mike and their dog, Ghost were the perfect hosts! We did not want to leave and are already looking forward to returning ! This has been our favorite Airbnb yet!

We had a lovely stay at this Airbnb! The hosts were incredibly welcoming and personally explained how everything worked and made sure we had everything we needed. We especially appreciated the thoughtful touches, like the welcome of Christmas cookies and wine and thoughtful decorations for Christmas. The space was exactly as described—very clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. The location was perfect, with restaurants and attractions nearby. There was the added bonus of visiting deer to see right outside the window. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting the area. I would definitely stay here again!

Great location in the finger lakes. There was plenty of space for my family of 7. Lots of extra blankets and an amazing quiet space in the backyard on the lake. I especially loved reading the book left from the host with his amazing published photos of the area! There’s a bulletin board with maps of activities too!

We had a wonderful stay hanging out near the rivers edge. We were provided with ample firewood and smores as a welcome gift :) very thoughtful. We look forward to coming back during summer to do some kayaking

Great communication & beautiful stay! We loved the cozy atmosphere and lake views. <10 minute drive to “downtown” Ithaca with lots of little shops, great restaurants, and hikes. Thanks for a great stay!

My family, including two young girls (ages 10 and 13) and a 180lb Newfie, stayed here over NYE. The place was enjoyed by all. The house was great, the property is both private and beautiful, and there were lots of things to do including kayaking/paddle boarding (provided by host), swimming, fishing, camp fires, and hiking - not to mention a hot tub and foosball table. The nearby town of Naples is also very charming. I would recommend this to anyone.

My family and I were looking to get away for a few days to have a peaceful Thanksgiving. When Dennis’s place came up we were shocked it was available. Everything that we read in the reviews was true. It is a beautiful home with an amazing view. The location directly on the lake is not only convenient, but adds an element of distinctive charm. Having the dock to fish off of just steps outside the door was an added, plus. And don’t get me started on how well stocked the house was. We always bring ample supplies when we go away however, there’s always those little things you forget and have to run out to the store for at the most inconvenient times. This house had everything we could have possibly needed on hand. The best part however is how inviting, open and stunningly gorgeous the home is, we immediately felt at home. Dennis was very responsive to any questions during our stay and made us feel even more at home. We are definitely planning to return in the near future, it was wonderful!

Such a great cabin! Plenty of room for 2 people and 2 80lb dogs. The views are amazing-you couldn’t be any closer to the water. There are docks and cabins close by, but it does feel private. Being October, there wasn’t too much activity on the lake..even with temps in the 80s! It made for a really relaxing trip. We were lucky enough to see a loon and had eagles fly overhead daily..we even had a beaver swim right next to us on the dock!! The cabin has a cozy fireplace (heater) and was well equipped with everything you need. The linens were soft, the towels were thick and the bed was very comfortable! Kayaking was wonderful when the wind allowed. Fishing from the dock wasn’t great, but then again, I am more versed in creek/pond fishing rather than giant lake fishing. I did have a great day fishing at a nearby pond in Hector on the interlocken trail..called teeter pond. Our host (Gillian) was wonderful. It was evident that her guests experience was really important to her.

We rented this beautiful house for family visiting us from Virginia for Thanksgiving and it was just perfect since we live right next door! Our family loved EVERYTHING about the house and look forward to coming back. The house felt like home to them and they could not get over the peace, comfort and serenity of it all. Having a second kitchen to help cook for 14 people was fantastic and well equipped! Melissa is an exceptional host and we appreciated her flexibility. We want to thank her for one of the most memorable family Thanksgivings!

Location is PERFECT! The dock area and deck and boathouse are so wonderful and we spent a good deal of time right by the water. The house had plenty of room for 6 adults to spread out. Home was clean and not cluttered. Kitchen was very functional and appliances worked well. Having a hot tub was fun. Bathrooms good with lots of towels. But note that primary bed and bath has no door separating bed from bath. Beds all comfortable. Lots of parking space. And the fact that you have to cross a road to get to dock area is not an inconvenience whatsoever. It is a 1 minute walk from house to dock. Views from the house are amazing and the dock is really the selling point. We rented a pontoon boat for the week and it was amazing to just pull up and hop on and off....we felt like real lake people!!
