Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Middletown

We found Dmitry's place to be just as advertised - it was warm, comfortable and well stocked for our family get together. We enjoyed the views of the water and the open common areas. We especially appreciated having a full bath and bedroom on the first floor for our elderly mother.

Johanna’s property was cozy and inviting. The location was secluded and private but easy to access. The thermostat worked well, keeping the house warm during a particularly cold night & the shower was soothing with amazing water pressure. Johanna was extremely kind and responsive, highly recommend!

Lori was an amazing host. She coordinated with me on everything prior to checking in. I explained that I would be using her home for a small surprise birthday party and she even offered to do some decorations or help out any way she could. Way above and beyond her responsibilities as a host. On top of that she set up a fire pit with firewood and even left a s’mores kit for us. The most amazing thing was she left a birthday card and gift for my girlfriend. It was completely unexpected and we were so appreciative. The home was very clean, cozy, and had everything that we were looking for.

This was our second time back to the pool house and it was amazing, again. We thinks of everything to make you feel welcome. Milk and eggs in the fridge. Muffins and croissants waiting for you. Pristine home. Fully stocked kitchen. I was even able to host a few family members for Christmas dinner and had everything I needed to make a lovely dinner. We also travel with two dogs and Sue is so accommodating, making our pups feel right at home. Thank you, Sue, for making our holidays away from home so peaceful and enjoyable.

We took the house for a family getaway, and it far beyond surpassed our expectations. From the cleanliness of the home, to the beauty and utility of the pool. There was an abundance of all things you can expect to find in a home, e.g. the bathrooms were stocked with an abundance of name brand shampoos and soaps. We enjoyed the beautiful coastline that was in close proximity to house. And we spent hours at the pool on a daily basis, it was very private. Cindy was responsive to our every need and query. She even came by a couple of times to help us out with some issues, she went beyond her call of duty. All this she did graciously, as if it’s not even a bother. She is a true super host.

We rented the apartment to visit with our grown kids for our Christmas vacation. The kitchen had everything I needed to cook a small brunch for them to snack on. The fenced in area, for our dog, was perfectly secure and separate from the main yard which I appreciate. Lee and Kelly were both very friendly and responsive but also gave us privacy as well. The pricing of the unit was very competitive for this area. Our dog can bark a bit when we couldn't bring him out with us so I hope he didn't disturb them too much. We never heard any loud noise from there house so for an above garage apartment, I thought that was great!

We had a wonderful Christmas stay at Elizabeth House in Litchfield, CT. The home was clean and cozy making it the perfect retreat for the holidays. The check-in process was seamless, and the hosts made everything so easy for us. I highly recommend Elizabeth House for anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable getaway. Jan

Stayed here for 2 nights with a couple friends. Perfect spot for a quick getaway. Backyard and pool area was exactly what we were looking for with lots of space to lounge and relax. Lots of entertainment if you wanted to just hang inside as well. As some of the other reviewers noted, you can definitely hear the hosts move around upstairs. Didn't impact us too much except for Saturday morning. Was a little difficult to sleep in b/c of the noise.

The house was in perfect area. Got to see deer, turkey and rabbits while sitting around pristine backyard and pool area. House was directly across from ferry system to Connecticut and adjacent town was perfect for restaurants and walking around. Would highly recommend this as a destination location and house. Look forward to returning

This house was fantastic! We cooked a full Thanksgiving dinner here! The house was well stocked with everything we needed, from kitchen essentials to paper products. The layout of the house was great. Jane was very accommodating and made things easy for us! The house was immaculate and met all of our needs. I hope it’s available next Thanksgiving! Perfect location! Close to town, yet quiet and private! It was my granddaughter’s first Thanksgiving and I’m so glad we had this house to celebrate in!

My stay at this apartment was incredible. The location is perfect, close to all the tourist spots and with easy access to a beautiful beach. The apartment is very clean, modern, and comfortable. The decor is beautiful, and it feels like home. Our host was very kind and attentive. He gave us recommendations for places to visit, and was always available for any questions or concerns. I highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in Old Lyme. We'll be back soon!

We had a great stay at this cottage- it was a perfect size for our family and was extremely clean, warm and comfortable. We especially enjoyed the quick walk to the beach, and proximity to town. Hosts were very friendly and responsive but never intrusive. Would highly recommend.

Location, location, location. So amazing to have beautiful expansive hiking trails right outside your door. There was even a map/instructions as soon as you walk in the door, to guide you to a waterfall right on the property. Rio was a fantastic host; quick and responsive over text to give helpful information on the area that really made the stay. If you’re looking for a serene escape, this is the place for you.

Kisha was kind and thoughtful. The apartment was spotless, beautifully decorated and provided all amenities. Being dog friendly was also a plus for us as we were displaced u water damage at our house just 5 miles away.

We had a wonderful stay at George’s. The unit is exactly as described, don’t be deterred by the adherence to the house, it’s completely private. It’s at a great location for north fork explorations and the amount of towels was outstanding!

We had a cute and cozy stay here! Spent the holidays with the fam by the beach, walked around town and had some really great food! The space the super cute and warm and really nice! The hosts were amazing as well! Super communicative and made sure we had everything we needed. Def keep this spot in my faves list. 🥰💕🎄

Nice place located in a beautiful secluded house in a safe neighborhood. Gorgeous property. Our dogs were allowed and they were very comfortable. The amenities were exactly as described. Extremely clean and well maintained. The place was easy to locate and easy to access. It is convenient to many local stores and restaurants. Great, responsive hosts!

Betsy and Dave are amazing people. Very helpful and communicative. They always gave us great recommendations in terms of local spots. They also helped us meet some of the neighbors. They would do kind things like decorate the house for Halloween. We loved our 4 months in Westport. We would highly recommend them for anybody who wants to do a longer term stay as we did!
