Cottage holiday rentals in Middlesex County

My family and I truly enjoyed our stay. The location is amazing, hot tub helps wind down and the view of the lake at sundown was priceless. David’s place was extremely clean and had all the useful kitchen utensils we needed. We enjoyed everything the house had to offer. Family time at this stay was the best! David was very responsive and friendly. Can wait to return next year!

Andy’s place is magnificent! We had an epic weekend. We had a mixed group of kids and adults and we all loved this home. It is exactly as described and so well thought out, with areas for everyone to come together and to also have time on their own. We absolutely loved the wood fired sauna and hot tub, and the kids felt thoroughly spoiled. It’s a perfect winter retreat for everyone. We loved walking through the snow to the beach and taking the kids tobogganing at the Pinery. Big thanks to Andy (who is so responsive) for having the snow cleared for our arrival. We can’t wait to return.

I had booked this reservation for a peaceful and relaxing ladies getaway and it exceeded all of our expectations. The property is breathtaking, very clean, close to the beach and has many amenities! The weather was cold and rainy the first couple days but there was so much to do at the Property that we didn’t feel like any time was wasted! The hosts were very friendly, helpful, and respond quickly to all our inquiries. We felt right at home the moment we entered! The description and amenities listed are all accurate and the property is even prettier than the photos! Thank you so much to Judy and Jaysen for everything! I know for a fact that myself and my friends plan on returning in the future we loved it so much! If you’re considering booking this property then DO IT!! I promise you that you won’t regret it.

This was our first air bnb experience. We were more than impressed with how Jessica and Peter were so friendly and so welcoming as well as very responsive to any questions we had !! We are a family of 5 and there was lots of room! They have literally thought of everything you would need ! The fridge had ice cube tray so we didn’t have to go buy a bag of ice for our drinks ! The place was clean and smelled great! The hot tub was amazing and there was a ton of board games for us to do as a family! It snowed on our get away and I started to shovel the walk ways to the hot tub and with in minutes the snow removal crew showed up and did a fantastic job ! Restaurants are close within a 5-10 min drive! If you like coffee this cottage is a must ! The coffee bar was an amazing added touch ! This place is top notch and we highly recommend staying here ! We will definitely be back ! Thanks again Jessica and Peter! We will be in touch for future bookings!

Kelly is very responsive and personable and we were lucky enough to meet her and her husband in person! Everything you need is provided. You just show up! This is our second year renting from her and will do so again! Thanks again for a great stay in your beautiful home!

Hosted our family of 7 quite comfortably. Bonus arcade room for the kids was a total success.

Unfortunately, I was unable to actually make it to Sue’s place due to unanticipated circumstances (not to do with the reservation). However, Sue was quick to communicate and incredibly helpful. Before even making the reservation she answered all of my questions without hesitation, provided information about the house and the surrounding area, and she responded to all of my messages in under two hours. I felt well taken care of, and I hope to be able to actually stay at her place sometime in future.

We loved staying at John’s place. The neighbourhood was quiet, friendly and very pretty with the pastel coloured homes. What we especially loved about John’s place…..The beautiful home, cooking essentials, the location of the first aid kit, the luxurious beds, the quality of the towels, the games in the garage, the football, the walkability to the beach, the village, the location in general was excellent. We loved being able to bring our dogs. They loved the backyard, a retreat for humans and pets, with its covered porch, fire pit for the humans and a beautiful lawn for the dogs… It was the perfect place!

We had an amazing visit! The location is perfect for walking to everything in Port Stanley, but also in a nice, quiet area. The cottage has everything you might ever need! We loved all of the space and especially enjoyed sitting in the sunroom as the weather was a bit chilly sometimes. The kitchen was a great size for putting together meals - we even followed an online cooking class while we were there. The dining room has a nice big table - perfect size to have fun putting together some puzzles that were there. It was a fabulous place for a weekend meet-up with my sister. Carly was very responsive to messages and answered any questioned we had. I can’t wait to come back for another visit with friends.

We had a truly wonderful stay! The space was clean, comfortable and inviting, exactly as described and as it appears in photos. We loved the privacy and close proximity to the Eerie Rest beach while also appreciating the walkability to the main beach and stores/restaurants. The host was friendly and helpful. Our dog is a member of the family, and we loved that the space was dog-friendly (our dog loved having the side yard to explore as well as meeting dogs on our walks around the area). Overall, my family had a great experience and we would definitely return and I also would recommend this place to others.

Stayed here for a couple of nights. We found the cottage was cozy, spacious, and impeccably clean. Kitchen appliances are modern and bathrooms are clean and renovated. The location is fairly private and only a short drive to Pinery Provincial Park. Since it was winter we did not spend any time in the yard, but I imagine the firepit would be an excellent experience the rest of the year. One thing that was unexpected were the rules regarding not flushing toilet paper. I understand septic systems can be sensitive, but I have not come across this request in the past with any cottage/cabin on septic. Overall a great experience.

Had a great weekend at Harshil’s place, would recommend it 100%. The location had access to a private beach and not far from the main grand bend strip. He was also very helpful throughout our stay.

We had a great stay at Osman's "mom's cottage" in Port Stanley over Christmas and New Year. The cottage was cozy, warm, and perfect for our family, including a toddler and a baby. It was well-equipped for everything we needed during the holiday season, from preparing meals for the family to enjoying quiet, relaxing evenings together, and all the amenities (hello, washing!) that are essential for travelling with kids. The location was ideal – close to Port Stanley's charming main street and the beach (even in winter!) while still being peaceful and private. Osman made sure we had his contact details and reassured us that he was available if we needed anything, which we greatly appreciated. Spending the holidays here was truly special. Thank you, Osman, for hosting us. We would love to visit again!

This cute cottage was perfect for our family of 3. We enjoyed the fact we could easily walk to the beach, shops, and restaurants.

This cottage is as advertised. It’s a great location only about 10 min walk to the beach. You should note that the house is located up a steep hill so if you are not able bodied or have young children it could be difficult. We have toddler and decided to drive to the beach, but there is a lot of parking and we found it to be affordable. Stephanie’s place had everything we needed and we enjoyed our stay in Port Stanley.

Vadym was extremely responsive and attentive to any requests, with an amazingly close property to the beach ! Would recommend to friends for sure.

Beautiful spacious home/cottage with plenty of activities for adults and children at the cottage and close by. Short walk to a private beach (about 10 minutes), also a wagon and bicycles to use. Huge deck, large fire pit area, and lots of usable outdoor space. Hosts were fantastic…very helpful and always responded immediately.

We had a great stay at The Lost Amigos Cottages. My only complaint was the lack of face cloths, hand towels, and shower towel’s. There was 1 face cloth, 1 hand towel, and 4 shower towels. With 4 guests this was a bit tricky but thankfully there was a washer and dryer. Overall it was a great little place to stay and we would recommend it to others!
