Holiday rentals with lake access in Michigan Township

This retreat on the lake was absolutely perfect for spending time with extended family during a Notre Dame game weekend! The house was flawless! Everything that was described in the listing was exactly how we found it. Our host was super quick to respond to any questions we had during our stay. Thank you again for letting us use your beautiful home!

I totally agree with the other review that says I don't want to leave a review because I want to keep this listing to myself. The photos don't do it justice. The house is beautiful and so is the property. We saw lots of deer throughout our stay and greatly enjoyed the private beach access. There was plenty of room for a group of ten friends and it was nice to have three full bathrooms. Will hopefully be back next year!

Very pleasant stay over Thanksgiving while visiting family. Quiet, peaceful lake setting (even though it was very cold out and no swimming in the lake at 20 degrees!).. It was a good place to rest after the noise and activity of our large family 3 day gathering!

Taylor and Jeremy's place was perfect for a quiet getaway. We loved sitting on the deck in the evening after exploring and/or napping during the day. Mornings were best to kayak. Sister Lakes Brewing for good beer, great candy at Caruso's, supper club ambience at Timberline Inn.

My family and I were blown away by the house and its surroundings. We were a party of 10 adults attending my nephew's wedding at the Marion Magnolia Farms venue which was about 2 miles away. There was plenty of room, the kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed to make meals. Except the food, of course. Plenty of bath towels, blankets, etc. Bring bottled water. The backyard setting adjacent to the lake was tranquil and peaceful. The weather was beautiful for October (high 70's). We spent the evening around the fire pit making s'mores. No mosquitoes or flies. Yay!!!!!!! You literally will not want to leave!!!!!!!!!!!! But we had to get back to reality. For 3 days and 2 nights we were able to escape the busyness of everyday living. Thanks Amy for allowing us to have a wonderful mini-vacation/wedding celebration at your AirBnB.

I will call it "Mary Poppins", practically perfect in every way. If you are looking for a quite scenic vacation spot, this is it. Their are obviously things that could have been better, but we got exactly what we wanted, no notes, no issues, no problems.

We enjoyed our stay here! It was a little hard to find at first but even though it was right off the road the back yard felt very private. Easy to walk to the beach and around the neighborhood. For two people and a dog it felt very spacious and the outdoor area was very beautiful with all the fall colors. It was a nice area with easy access to the state parks we visited.

Howard is an amazing host. He was super responsive and accommodating to our large group. He had all the amenities that were listed on the property and more! We had more than enough towels and even kitchen appliances, spices, and utensils. His instructions were clear about checking out and our group had a wonderful weekend. We would definitely come back if he’ll have us! Thanks, Howard!

We were stuck in a holding pattern after a cross-country move from Florida. These guys really stepped up to make us feel at home and as stress-free as possible. Great hosts!

What an awesome stay! Karen was an excellent host, giving us local recommendations, leaving lots of snacks/wine, and always quick to message me back! Her place was so cozy and in such a beautiful location, with the beach being just a few steps away. She had great amenities including AC, a smart TV, and a very functional kitchen. We would recommend this airbnb to anybody looking for a beachside getaway!

Lisa was an amazing host! The location was great right on the lake and the space had everything we needed. I highly recommend staying with her!

Communicative host, place is as accurate as description (minor realization that the bathroom sink is small), and close proximity to beach and National park

Sameena was wonderful and extremely responsive. This was one of the cleanest Airbnbs we have been to. We had three toddlers with us and weren’t worried about the cleanliness of the floors, walls or surfaces. The very pleasant cleaning woman lives close by if anything comes up. The kitchen was stocked with everything you would need to cook a meal. The only inconvenience is that there isn’t a washer and dryer in the home but there is one available to use down the street with clear instructions on how to get there. Overall this was a wonderful experience with plenty of space!

Patty's place was GREAT! My 3 sisters and I had a very relaxing and enjoyable vacation. The Condo was exactly as pictured. It was very clean, had everything we needed in the living room, bathrooms and in the kitchen to cook meals. All 3 beds were very comfortable with plenty of blankets and pillows. We were able to drive North, South & East less than 30 minutes to visit wineries, shops, antique malls and fine restaurants. There are lots of things to do close to Coloma for 4 retired ladies. We loved walking down to the beach every evening to watch the sunset and waves as they rolled in.

I needed a place to escape to away from downtown Chicago. Erica’s cottage was charming and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The location is unbeatable and it is super quiet and peaceful. The best part, I was able to bring my dog along. The cottage is close (less than a 5 minute walk) to the beach which has amazing sunsets. Though the beach is not dog friendly, morning and evening walks along the shore are unofficially permitted (I spoke to a local). Erica was a great host. I texted her with an issue and she immediately rectified the situation. She continued to check in with me throughout our stay. Overall I had a great experience and will be back!

Super cute stay in a great area walking distance to everything. I really appreciated the little things like a makeup towel, s’mores and in suite coffee. The common areas were really nice and a fun way to meet the neighbors. Pam was very sweet and accommodating. Would totally stay here again!

We had another wonderful stay at Peter’s cottage! It was a very cold weekend in Michigan so we took advantage of the wood burning stove/fireplace each night. Pro-tip: the wood burning stove is best with smaller pieces of wood. We found the best bundles at Union Pier Market. Looking forward to a return trip!

We had a very peaceful stay. It was a quick drive from Chicago but really felt like we were far away. Meta Rose left excellent instructions & recommendations about the surrounding area. Would definitely stay here again.

Perfect home for a long weekend that included a Notre Dame football game. The home had plenty of space for two couples and the kitchen is beautifully updated. The house is exactly like the photos and even better in person. Lovely large yard, plenty of seating out by the lake, kayaks for use, a firepit; a great vacation home. Bonus on an ND football weekend: much less traffic coming from north of campus, easy drive getting in and out of campus.

Charming, romantic, rustic, peaceful. Cannot overstate how lovely our stay was. The cottage is just as described and provided everything we needed to have the weekend away that we wanted. Highly recommend getting out in the early morning to go deer spotting! We walked the entirety of the trails and enjoyed every bit of it. Definitely staying here again!

Jen was so sweet, messaged back right away and gave us a list of things to do while we were there on a mini vacation visiting family. Hot tub and deck so clean, amazing and private Thank you and Happy holidays.

Second time staying in this home and it was even better than the last. Great neighborhood and layout and they’ve made some really nice cosmetic updates to the house as well. Can’t wait to come back in the summer!

This was our second stay. The place has so much character and the fireplace and masonry heater are splendid in winter. I can just sit in front of the fire all day enjoying it and the view of the channel. Once I am there, it is hard to leave that peace and coziness.
