This gorgeous, recently renovated 1920's home features its own private garden, a welcome green oasis in the bustling metropolis of Mexico City. Spend the morning exploring the neighborhood, then retire for a siesta or afternoon coffee on the terrace. This house is the residence of a travel writer and her partner, a renowned Spanish artist. Once owned by Mexico’s Secretary of Education, Jaime Torres Bodet (a founder of our world famous Anthropology Museum) it has been painstakingly restored by the current owners in keeping with the true essence of the property, while adding a personal touch with furniture, objects and art they have collected from all over the world. This is one of the few houses in Mexico with European central heating. ( a must to have during winter ) The house has two stories and a mezzanine. On the main floor is the living room with original chimney and wood floors, kitchen, and dining room that seats 8 people and looks onto a peaceful garden. This floor also contains a half bathroom. On the mezzanine level there’s a Japanese futon and an 1800’s piano—a perfect nook to read, relax, or make music. On the second floor you’ll find the master suite with its own bathroom, balcony and separate TV room that can be used as an extra bedroom with a very comfortable Full bed. When the TV room is used as a bedroom it has his own entrance. Two additional bedrooms on this level share another bathroom: one has a queen-sized bed, the other two twin beds that can be joined to form a king-sized bed. Linens are of the finest quality Egyptian cotton. The house is fully serviced. Our housekeeper Ceci will spoil you with fresh orange juice and a selection of fresh fruit, bread, and homemade jam. And, of course, there’s fresh ground Mexican coffee and an excellent selection of fine teas. (We also offer options for vegan travelers.) This is one of the few houses in central Mexico City with its own private garden, a welcome green oasis in this bustling megalopolis. This gorgeous house sits on a quiet, tree-lined street with multiple museums, parks, art galleries, and restaurants all within walking distance. The metro stop is only 2 blocks from the house. Metro bus 4 blocks. You can use the public bikes that are in front the church (2 blocks), or in front the bookstore ( 2 blocks to the oposite side ) The taxi stand is 2 blocks from the house You can Uber If you have your own park I have a reserved place in the house. Really well connected! Ceci the house keeper is an amazing cook. She will cook hot breakfast, lunch and dinner upon request. She usually do all the cleaning in the morning, but she can stay longer if you need her. We like to give our guests delicious hot Mexican breakfast. We like them to taste real Mexican home cooking. We are open to vegan, vegetarian, or any specific diet. Luis the maintenance guy will go to the house only is there is a problem to be fixed.

Sit out on the spacious and verdant terrace, ideal for a lush breakfast in the morning or cocktails and fine conversation in the evenings. The interior is extremely comfortable and beautifully decorated, featuring local paintings and artefacts. Enjoy working from home with high speed internet of up to 120MBPS I strive to make this place as comfortable as my own home, I love to have great quality linens, colorful spaces, beautiful plants and always great coffee. The place is spacious, with great sunlight and fresh air; great for just relaxing and getting to know the Mexico City way of life. Guests have full access to the apartment and everything in it. Also they can leave luggage in storage area after checkout. 90% of the time I will receive guests myself, also self check-in is available if preferred. (we have a 24hr doorman). I am always happy to suggest spots to visit or places to go to outside the city and how to get there. The neighborhood is very colorful. It has the perfect combination of liveliness and quiet nights for a good night's sleep. Mercado de Medellin is just around the corner for fresh fruit, vegetables, and grocery shopping. I would suggest getting around the neighborhood simply by walking; bus and subway stations to get downtown are very close. Also, there's a bike-share station outside the building. I love coffee! There will always be several coffee options in the apartment. Please keep in mind that other people and families live in the building. The terrace hours are from 9am to 10pm. La Roma is also known as one of the two culinary centers in town. The apartment is just two blocks away from the iconic Amsterdam Street and Parque Mexico.

Just side to the center of Tulum, in a unique park. This new neighborhood offers nature and wellness. The Villa is composed of three bedrooms, two of them have a king size bed with a full bathroom (one with bathtub) and the other has two queen beds with a shower room separated. We have a TV room with a sofa that can be used as a bed. Fully-equipped (TV, Wi-Fi, kitchen, oven, freezer, coffee machine, fans, air-conditioning in each room, washer/dryer) with a beautiful “palapa”, garden an a private swimming pool. The resort offers many holistic treatments and fun activities onsite. Restaurants, craft boutiques, and a bakery are within walking distance. Stunning local beaches, remarkable archeological sites, and downtown Tulum are a short drive or cycle away. It's really easy and safety to use transports in Tulum. Walking, biking, taxi service or car rental service. A new bicycle pathway allows you to bike to the beach easily!
