Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Metung

Was the perfect place to spend a long weekend at the beach. The home had everything you would need, with plenty of spaces to relax and and unwind. Would recommend!

The house was clean and is in a beautiful location. Lan was very responsive and proactive in making our stay as comfortable as possible, overall a great host.

Our stay at Little Metung Hideaway was absolute bliss. The house was pristine, extremely well equipped and so homely. The gardens were beautiful and fantastic for nature lovers, an abundance of different birdlife and beautiful water skinks. The patio area of the garden is open to the road but lower level was completely fenced and our dog enjoyed roaming and sniffing around. Town is walkable but on Cindy's very useful advice we chose to drive a little way down Rosherville Rd to avoid the blind bends with no pavement and walk from the first car park along the boardwalk to town. A gorgeous walk and relatively flat that takes you from Chinaman's Creek through town to Shaving Point. Food at the hotel and the Aroma Cafe was fantastic. The metung shop was well stocked with basics and for a supermarket a quick 20min drive to Lakes Entrance was nice and easy especially as we combined it with doing things in Lakes Entrance.

Tammy and Jason are great hosts and this place is rare gem. We as a group of 3 families enjoyed every moment at home . The house is huge and has everything from kitchen cutleries to kids toys . The pool is not deep and hence ideal to be stressfree with young kids. Amazingly maintained and pristine clean. would love to come back again to enjoy the serenity around

Tranquil place to relax spend time with family and to catch up on your books. the weather as great when we stayed there spent good time at the 90 mile Beach on all days and in spent time watching the sun set over the lake. lot of wildlife for the kids to see. we liked the place for its peaceful setting

Clean, not far from the beach. There is a general store (Foodworks) round the corner that provides basic amenities and some food. Easy walk to the beach. It's a lovely comfortable place to stay. We had all we needed in the home, telescope and toys for kids were a nice touch. There is a long bath indoors and outdoors which is a hit with the kids. Fair warning, there were a lot of flies, not something that the host can control and it's what you do get living at the beach. They get in when you open the doors so do be quick. Maybe bring a fly swatter if you find using fly spray/ elastic bands to not be your choice of weapon. We managed to take out over 30 flies indoors but it's a constant battle. Overall a fantastic place to stay, highly recommended and will come back again.

beautiful location overlooking the lake and a 5 minute walk down to the beach. very quiet. the kids loved the kangaroos in the backyard and the birds flying around. Penny was very helpful with a tonne of local recommendations

We were extremely pleased with our stay here The place was tranquil and peaceful We would highly recommend this place. It was easy to travel to Metung and Lakes Entrance, and there are wonderful walking tracks around this stunning area

Great place to stay if you are out all day and just need a place to sleep & bath, as it is small. It was ideal for our stay - family of 4. Has a small kitchen which you can easily cook meals. Good size bathroom, nice and clean. Highly recommend. We enjoyed our stay in Loch Sport and would consider staying here again if we came back to visit the area.

The flat is clean and tidy within 5min drive to town. It located near the road side with beautiful view.

Super cozy cabin with lovely forest surroundings, great if you want a camping vibe without actually camping. Perfect location as it was only a 5 minute drive to town - no complaints!

Decided to have an impromptu couple of days away from Melbourne with the family. Had never heard of Raymond Island, it was an absolute delight, Koalas running around, Kangaroos in the garden, Kookaburra’s coming to say hello. My two boys 6 &12 had the best break ever they declared on the way home. The house was fab, incredibly peaceful with everything you need. We spent most of the time round the fire-pit roasting marshmallows. Gorgeous setting with the house backing on to the lake. Kat was very proactive reaching out to see if we are enjoying ourselves. Will 100% come back. Thanks so much.

An amazing time capsule of the seventies. The View lives up its name, nestled in the treetops overlooking a picturesque river with comfortable and roomy accommodation and modern amenities. A fantastic walk along a boardwalk and super friendly staff at local eateries. The Nasi Goreng at Chez Joe's is excellent.

If you want somewhere away from the hustle and bustle, this little cabin is great. Robin and Wayne are friendly and easy to communicate with. Their dog is friendly and ready for a game of fetch at any opportunity. Just a short walk to the walking track near the lake as promised. We loved falling into bed after a long day of cycling, it was very comfortable

We had a superb farm stay at Clara’s place! The experience of interacting with her lovely animals was a highlight of our trip, and the farm tour was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone. Clara was incredibly responsive and made us feel welcome throughout our stay. We highly recommend this wonderful experience to others and hope to visit again in the future!

As a family of four with two small dogs, we had a fantastic stay at Nigel's secluded log cabins nestled among the trees. The cabin was cozy, clean, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. Surrounded by nature, it was the perfect place to unwind and enjoy some peace and quiet. Nigel was a great host, super friendly and responsive ensuring we had a great time and comfortable stay. I highly recommend this peaceful retreat for anyone looking to escape into nature!

Everything was provided, from a BBQ to a firepit with extra wood, snuggly blankets and items for our baby (Portacot and High Chair). Instructions were clear and place was easy to find - and it really was private! It seems there are 4 units on the property plus the main house. You do go up a dirt road for 5 mins but it is very safe. Wifi was fine, tv had apps you could sign into. The two bedrooms both had fans but best to keep the doors open to use the cooler in the lounge to its full effect. Basic supplies available - salt, pepper, oil, paper towel and amenities so we were able to cook our own meals easily. Oven, hotplate x 2, microwave, full fridge and BBQ available. 15 mins to Bairnsdale, 30 mins to Paynesville and Metung. We would 100% go again! Thank you Nigel and family.
