A lot of little touches that makes it convenient. The hosts have thought things out carefully. Plenty of beds which is what we needed and we played a lot of ping pong. Spotless and very nice linens. Right on 151st so a lot of things very conveniently located

10/10 will be coming back next year!! Beautiful property! The house is beautiful and very clean! They thought of everything you would need in case you forgot something! Fish was active in the pond and we even seen a few deer in the back yard! A very playful squirrel came out every evening! Only thing I would recommend is better outside lights!

Cole’s place is truly a cozy cottage getaway. My wife and I wanted a night away from the kids, to ourselves, to relax and unwind. The property is so peaceful and the cottage is far away from the main house. We stayed in the winter but the placement of bird houses around the cottage brought a bit of songbird ambiance to the morning. Everything was squeaky clean and the place well thought out. The close proximity to Lawrence meant lots of restaurants, coffee houses, bookstores, etc to visit. We went into Eudora also and really enjoyed the coffee house there. We hope to visit again in the summer.

Marilee's place was a fantastic home base for our trip to Iola, my girlfriend's hometown. We wanted to experience the local charm and nostalgia, and this house provided the perfect setting. After years of staying in the suburbs, our place in the city was a welcomed change. We loved the neighborhood and the charm of the older house. Since the living room opens up into the master bedroom, during the day the rooms felt open and spacious. Had it been a little warmer we would have had breakfast on the front porch.

This is such a cozy place to stay! The house is so clean and free of clutter. Everything felt brand new. My family of three was able to spread out and each do our work in separate rooms. When we heard 5in of snow were predicted, we got a bit nervous. But we had a garage to park, snow shovel, and our host treated the sidewalk and drive. It ended up being a great snow day for our family… that rarely gets to see snow! Nice, easy mile walk on sidewalks gets you to coffee shop and restaurants. I hope we can stay again on our next trip to KC!
