Townhouse holiday rentals in Melbourne City

I highly recommend Lyndall’s home for your stay. We came from the US for my son’s wedding. The location was excellent just a few steps off Lygon to restaurants and tram stop in one direction and around corner to park and fabulous coffee shop with both savory and sweet bakery options that we visited daily during our stay. The main House has everything that you need, kitchen with large table for dining and all amenities for cooking. All beds very comfortable and baths and showers wonderful. Washer dryer was so nice! We rented the main house as well as guest suite in back which was perfect for us as we were 3 adults and 2 children. The guest suite was very comfortable with queen bed private bath. And was a wonderful place to retreat in the evening . The back yard space has a large table which we used everyday! Lyndall was an exceptional host from my first communication. We arrived to breakfast food in fridge, toys and books for our kiddo’s. She made us feel welcome, love to come back!

Lovely house in lovely area. Easily walkable to restaurants/cafes/ships etc. Bedrooms comfortable, had a really heavy quilt. Maybe not necessary for everyone. plenty room to move. Nice outdoor area even though it’s a tad small. Although a new carpet was just laid upstairs, the whole place needs a lick of paint. And cleaning needs to be better. Dust and cobwebs in high places and behind doors. Very noticeable. Toilets could do with and upgrade. The large bathroom upstairs could be doing with a new toilet bowl! It was caked in dirt. Bought rubber gloves and scourers to try clean it but it was caked on. Would have needed a hammer & chisel to get it off. Not pleasant. Kitchen area was ok, bit dusty above head level. Ice machine was on and we would not have used it, it was really dirty inside and needed a good clean. Water filter needed replacing in water container it was disgusting also. Could be a spectacular house instead of mediocre. Attention to detail & more cleaning needed.

I come to Melbourne to catch up with my family if this place was available I would certainly stay again

We had a fantastic stay in Melbourne. The house was perfect for a family, in a great location and a lovely outdoor area. It was close to the tram, shops, botanical gardens ( st,kilda’s). We would definitely come back. Thanks Tara for a brilliant stay.

We stayed at Penny's place for my daughter's wedding. It was in a great location and accommodated 5 adults with ease. The apartment is very spacious and well appointed. Penny was a great host and communicated clearly and promptly. I would recommend Penny's place 100%.

Bright and cozy, with a fantastic location. Functional amenities and cool rooftop garden - this was a great place to stay in Melbourne. The kids enjoyed the local park and we enjoyed the local wine bar.

The location was the best point of the house. Was easy to get anywhere you’d like to go. There was parkings on the street with a two hour limit during weekdays which made id a bit difficult, but if you staying for a weekend, you won’t have any issues.

The house was great, walking distance to public transport and shops. The beds were very comfortable and everything was very clean. A great space to enjoy time together.

We had a wonderful stay at Nina and Brian's apartment. The location was excellent—close to restaurants, a supermarket, and public transport, with the city center within walking distance. Nina and Brian are incredibly friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed chatting with them about our travels, and they kindly shared recommendations for destinations they had personally enjoyed. Since we visited during Christmas, they even surprised us with a thoughtful gift and a card, which was such a sweet gesture. They are exceptionally helpful and respond very quickly to messages. I highly recommend this apartment for anyone seeking comfort, safety, and a convenient location near the city center while still enjoying the peace of a quiet neighborhood.

We had an event at Flemington Racecourse and this venue was perfect walking distance yet hidden away enough from the craziness. Wonderful little place, would definitely stay again. Thanks for having us Anne.

A great place to stay in vibrant Smith St Collingwood. So many restaurants, cafes and bars nearby. The classic terrace has been fitted out in a lovely style and the living space upstairs is a fabulous and spacious room. Kizzi & Michael were very friendly and responsive, helping out quickly to fix a small problem. Unexpected bonus was the courtyard with the basketball hoop.

Fantastic place to stay. It was very comfortable and close to restaurants and shopping. Lots of room for our family with great TV and aircon. Very friendly and helpful hosts. Loved the chocolate on arrival.

If you need a place in South Melbourne, look no further! Incredible host, beautiful house and the beds are AMAZING! So comfy, I didn’t want to leave! A nice quiet street but also close to the hustle and bustle of South Melbourne. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

We had a lovely stay at Tamara’s place! The home was clean, beds comfortable, fresh linen and great air conditioning. It was very secure and well located, just a short walk to local shops and restaurants. The off street parking was a real bonus! Tamara was extremely easy to deal with - answering our concerns/questions promptly and suggesting workable solutions. Would highly recommend this place!

Melanie’s house is a beautifully renovated and beautifully furnished house in the heart of South Melbourne. A very walkable location but also easily accessible by public transport. The house is exactly like the photos. Spotlessly clean. Tastefully decorated. Comfortable and with everything you could possibly need for a short weekend or a long stay. Melanie’s communication was fast and friendly and helpful with lots of great tips for restaurants, cafes and general local knowledge. This is a simply perfect Airbnb stay.

Mei was very friendly and was in contact right from the time we reserved the Townhouse She had a very helpful booklet with information on transport where to eat WIFI password . She provide step by step instructions on where to park to get into the Townhouse which was very helpful as we arrived after 10 pm at night I would recommend Mei and her Townhouse. It suited our needs very well.

Paul’s beautiful space is in an excellent location near the tram line , a grocery store , lovely walk path in an up-and-coming neighborhood. We were able to comfortably fit eight adults and one child . He communicated well. And the neighbors are super friendly. Our granddaughter even played with a neighbor across the driveway. Melbourne is a special place!

We highly recommended Joanne and Tony's place, such lovely small unit but combined with everything we need. It was so nice Joanne took her time to meet with us, that was very warm and personal welcome to start off our journey! Their home has a great location, nearby all the parks around that is very convenient. It was great for us to run in the morning, and go to watch the sunset in the evening time. The house was not big, but very well planned and thoughtful. We had a great family time there, thanks again.

I would gladly stay at Laura's property again. The location is perfect, just a short walk into the town centre and the house itself had everything we needed and was spotless. The communication from Laura was excellent. Highly recommend.

Great little place with a big personality and plenty of room for 5 to fit comfortably. Close to fantastic cafes & restaurants, trams and (most importantly) Albert Park. Exactly what we were looking for!
