Holiday rentals with a kayak in Meigs County

House was comfortable and everything you could possibly need! 2 master king suites were great as well as an additional king room and queen. All beautifully furnished. Sofa was so big and comfortable. Stayed with my parents for a family wedding, they spent almost all of their time in the 4 season porch taking in the comfort and views! Also had other family stop by for a bit, all were very impressed by the house, said how GREAT it looked and how beautiful! We all LOVED and were jealous of the master bedroom cabinetry, we all want now!

Very quiet, out-of-the-way place. I was there when the lake was down (December) so I didn't get to enjoy the dock, but it looks nice and functional. The recreational room downstairs had a pool table, dart board, and a place to play checkers. The entire place has been remodeled recently. It looks great and everything works! The Host was always quick to answer questions. Would come back again!

Reserved the location close to other family for a local wedding. This will be a wonderful location for summer water recreation. We are familiar with the area and knew the lake was down this time of year. Because of adult children and the bride coming and going, we had anywhere from three to eight stay per night. The home was very relaxing, allowed for easy food preparation, games to be played and memories to be recalled. The upstairs was a little warmer than downstairs when the heat was on and once we got the sleeping temperature worked out, everything was wonderful. Excellent place would recommend. If you are not familiar with the location, it takes a few minutes to arrive form Kingston coming down River Road. Thank you.

Beautiful place. Perfect for our family. Traveling with an eight month old, she was downstairs with her parents and we were upstairs. Never heard a peep. The Hostess was so thoughtful. We hope to plan another visit in the future. Hopefully during the summer months to take advantage of the beautiful lake.

The house is one level with easy access to dock and firepit on grounds. Relaxing deck in back with gorgeous water views, and a huge screened in porch in front. We loved fishing right from the shore! Excellent streaming from multiple TVs. Wifi never failed... We enjoyed the Spring City Park with a well maintained dog park and paved walking paths. And we hiked the Cumberland Trails, all close by. Kitchen was well appointed with a drip coffeemaker AND a Keurig coffeemaker. Bring your groceries and then relax! We can't wait to come back! 5 stars 🌟

This is our 3rd year staying here for 2 weeks with our large extended family. We love the house and all the space it offers. We have seen numerous upgrades throughout the years. Clark and Denise have always been very responsive when we do have a question or need anything. This place will always be one of our favorites to rent!!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Honey Hole. It was in a very peaceful place, close to the water, and we had everything we needed. We even saw three deer in the yard on our first morning at the house. We would definitely come back!

I stayed with my 13 year old and 22 year old boys and my mom. We had a relaxing and amazing time. The cabin is really clean, beds are comfortable and kitchen is loaded with anything you might need. We made s'mores by the firepit outside and just sat and talked and laughed. The creek is very peaceful and we attempted to fish but it had been raining a lot. I would definitely love to come back when it is hot to enjoy the creek.

It was a great stay for us and our friends. It was perfect for kids as well. The home was warm during the winter storm we encountered. There were even food supplies in case of emergency. Then the view of the lake was gorgeous and so picturesque. We will definitely come back and hope to see it in the summer for some fishing.

Wonderful experience! Everything was exactly as advertised and Sandy communicates very quickly and effectively. There was one small maintenance issue and Sandy had someone there to correct it within 1 hour of check-in. Very impressive. The one comment I would make to future renters - the final mile of the drive is gravel with large washed out areas. Anyone in an SUV or truck will have no issues at all. However, any car with low suspension may have difficulty navigating the final mile. We visited immediately after a heavy amount of snow and ice which I would assume affected the road more than normal. Just check with Sandy first.

Great place good customer service

Had a great time at the Fish Fry Cabin with husband and Grandkids. Very nice cabin everything user friendly. Well stocked store across the street that cooks 3 meals a day. Friendly area.

We had a couples weekend and chose to stay what we called “the big blue” house. The house was beautiful and views were amazing! The kitchen was well stocked and very spacious. Communication was great with the hosts, very quick to respond. We will save this house for future trips!

The place was great! And the snack basket upon arrival was wonderful after a looong drive!! Everything was great! Really appreciated the clean hot shower after our day of driving! Tim responded very quickly with our questions and was very helpful!! Will be back!

Richard's place was just as described, making it the perfect getaway for our family. It had everything we needed to feel right at home. Such great memories were made by the fireplace as it snowed and remained in the low 20s-30s the duration of our stay. We would definitely stay again!
