What a great place to stay for a weekend getaway with friends! Very roomy, hot tub was great, kitchen had everything we needed to cook. Everything in the place was very high quality!!

It was a perfect setting for our Christmas gathering!! We put our gifts around the tree! Enjoyed the cozy fire!! It was decorated for Christmas & also had all the style that you would expect from a cabin in the woods. It blew us away!! Plenty of everything we needed!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the cabin. The house was clean and check in/out was seamless. Would recommend!

This was a rare find! Clean and secluded with everything you could want for a good time! The shower was awesome! There were robes, complete laundry set up with a few pods available even. Pillows were comfy. Bedding was nice. Plenty of small details available that aren't always available at a lot of airbnbs. Host was very responsive. Area was super safe. Grocery store nearby but no major chain restaurants close so if you're wanting something like that get it on your way in. The grocery store had everything including a large selection of alcohol. Book it!

We loved our time at Frank and Kaylee’s place. They have everything you could even think of needing to make yourself feel right at home. They are open communicators and are happy to assist when anything comes up or even if we just had a question about something in the home. There was a chance of snow and Frank reached out first to offer to have someone plow the driveway if needed. The level off attention and care they give is amazing. I would recommend a stay with Frank & Kaylee to anyone looking for an amazing cabin retreat to get away from the hustle and bustle of life!

Great value, great communication, and a super cute spot!

We had hoped for a snowshoeing New Year getaway. The snow didn't show, but that was OK because we had a great time in this adorable cabin anyway! It looks *exactly* like the photos - incredibly clean and every detail thought of to make yourself at home. We loved warming up in the sauna and hot tub and would like to visit again in the warmer months to enjoy some kayaking in the lake and time on the amazing porch!

What a lovely little secluded place! We chose this home because of the hot tub and we spent two days skiing at Caberfae. It had plenty of space for our family of five and the kids had a blast playing the Wii. We saw sooo many stars sitting in the hot tub. It really is in the middle of nowhere and exactly why we loved it. We were there on a 5-10° weekend and were still cozy enough. The board games avail were perfect. The hosts were proactive and communicative from the moment we booked. Be sure to get pizza from Pompeii, it was so delicious. We also loved learning the history of Idlewild.

We were so impressed with Jodi’s Cozy Cabin. It was by far the best Airbnb we have stayed in yet. Not only was it cozy with the most beautiful view of Croton Pond, it had all the amenities needed for a great stay. Jodi is a fabulous host and we can’t wait to come back for another stay!

Pretty cabin in the woods. Recommend if you want a place in a quiet setting. And if you are an angler really close to the Muskegon River!

The cabin on the river was a perfect fall getaway. It was very peaceful, the house was comfortable and perfectly matched all descriptions. The fire-pit out back made an absolutely lovely evening. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet place to stay.

We had a wonderful stay. The cabin was extremely clean, and super cute. The property is charming! Having no Internet was tough with 3 kids! But it forced us to be in the moment and actually talk to one another. On our first night there as we were unpacking the car, a porcupine walked into the yard. The kids were so excited to see one in person. They are still talking about it. I would absolutely stay here again.

Had a great stay and Heather was super friendly, helpful, and responsive. So beautiful to be near the treetops overlooking the river, with snow falling.

We loved every part of this large, beautiful log cabin. It was very quiet and peaceful with beautiful views of the river. It easily accommodate our party of 10, and everyone was comfortable. We loved being able to bring our dogs also. We enjoyed the wood stove, the finished basement, and the large open main living area. We would definitely recommend and stay at this house again.

We had a wonderful fall weekend at the cottage. The space was awesome for a few families to share. We enjoyed the outdoors surrounding the cottage and drove into a few nice towns within a 30 minute drive. We would definitely recommend the cottage!

Just perfect. At the last minute, I was looking for a place to stay solo in a cabin in the woods (with my dog) in mid Michigan with easy access to walking trails. This is exactly what I found. The cabin was warm and cozy and quiet and well stocked for me to make meals. I could read and write in solitude, head out for a walk when needed. Krista was a great and attentive host, careful to send easy instructions for arriving in the dark. The trails were sweet, easy to make 2.5-3 mile loops. The labyrinth and other spiritual features were unexpected specialness. I later learned a friend stayed in the same cabin last year before meeting up with our family the next day in northern MI. Special spot, I hope you find it too.

I loved this place and the area it was in. Definitely want to come back here again! Highly recommend.

Hosts were great with communication, pre-trip to throughout our stay. We would absolutely stay here again. We had a great stay! Nice cabin in a woodsy setting - you feel like you’re getting away from it all but are still within a short drive of gas and food (great pizza from Pompeii’s in Baldwin ~20 mins away). We watched so many Perseid shooting stars from the deck. Cabin was a good size for us (2 adults, teen, 45lb dog*). We brought groceries along for breakfast and most of our meals, and the kitchen had everything we needed. There’s an espresso machine(?) that can also make a pot of regular drip coffee. Window a/c units on Low easily kept the place cool in August. We went to the neighborhood beach every day and walked/swam in nice clear water with little fish. Fenced-in neighborhood playground across the street. * Dogs are not allowed at the local lake beach. We found dog-friendly beaches in Lake Michigan state parks ($) and a great dog beach in a North Muskegon park (free).

Small but mighty. It fit our needs while we fished around the area. Lisa was friendly and responsive.
