Beachfront holiday rental in Meaford

We had an amazing stay! It was our second time staying and everything was perfect. It’s a cozy cottage with an at-home feel. Set the pilot light in the gas fireplace for us and let me know in advance, and offered to come pick up chairs after a windstorm the night before our stay. Very lovely host with a very speedy response time and a wonderful property!

We were very happy with our stay over Labour Day weekend. Lynne was a very responsive, helpful and engaged host. She offered an amazingly well stocked cottage, esp the kitchen. The cottage is spacious and bright. A few windows could be openned but there was central AC. One bedroom is a loft, accessed by a small staircase. The waterfront was very pretty, with lots of chairs, kayaks, a pontoon boat, ski doos and a great fire pit w lots of logs. There isn’t beach access at her cottage but there is a nice beach with sand for guests of the community within walking distance. The cottage is accessed through a community of RV, many w beautiful additions. There is a river winding through this community. Her property is separate and private. We appreciated how quiet it was around us and on the water.

I enjoyed our stay and will definitely come again. It was a place I needed to find peace and privacy and enjoying nature. The relaxation of the sauna and steam room I used everyday and provided a wholistic experience

This was our second year at Carrie and Dan's cottage and once again my family and I had a fantastic time. The house is perfectly situated on the river with a nice beach and it has all of the amenities needed. Dan communicated regularly and checked in with us to ensure we had everything we needed. This is a beautiful property which anyone would have fun at.

We had an amazing Christmas stay at Amanda’s beautiful cottage! The snow made the experience even more magical, though we can imagine it being just as stunning in the summer. The heated jacuzzi overlooking the serene view was a highlight for us—it was the perfect spot to relax and unwind. The cottage is incredibly private and exclusive, offering the peaceful retreat we were looking for. The house itself is spotless, cozy, and well-maintained. Amanda’s detailed instructions made navigating everything in the home so easy, and we appreciated how thoughtfully everything was prepared. The place had everything we needed and more. Liz was very responsive and the place was as described . Overall had a good stay with family. Ours was a winter stay and we spent good amount of time in the cottage. We enjoyed playing the board games and browsing through the books.

We had the best stay! When you first walk in, you hear peaceful music playing and the electric fireplaces are on. Has such a luxury/cozy feeling to it. The place looks exactly like the pictures but the pictures don't do the size of the actual place justice! It's larger than we expected! Would be a perfect spot for a wedding/getting ready photos!! Everything was spot on. The view and location was great!!! Especially with it being above one of my favourite restaurants in Barrie, The Farmhouse. The best part was just walking downstairs to our reservations and then right back up to relax. The shower was great but my absolute favourite part was how there is an infrared sauna!! We loved that thing so much we are looking into our own! The beds were really comfortable, LOVED those duvets!! It was so easy to communicate with the hosts and they were really helpful, as well as gave great spots to enjoy around Barrie. Hands down best place I have stayed and highly recommend!

Had a small bachelor party here recently and I couldn’t be happier! The hosts are the kindest and most helpful people ever! They went above and beyond and were always making sure we had everything. They gave recommendations on where to go and what to do, but they were also respectful of our time and space. Karen and Russell were very gracious hosts, it is a basement apartment but it wasn’t too loud upstairs and we were as quiet as we could be without restricting our own fun. The area is great and even the neighbours were nice and friendly. There’s lots to do around, and it’s not far from the village, where there’s more to do. I will be coming back with my wife and son, I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a decent priced accommodation in a lovely area.

The fact that we barely contacted the host during five days of staying there tells you all you need to know about this place! Lovely house and incredibly functional (especially all the little stickers to sign post you to whatever you’re looking for)! Great games room for the kids, kitchen is really well equipped, nice outdoor space and a lovely area you can walk and run. Absolutely stunning in the snow. Highly recommended. Great hosts as well.

Lovely lovely place. Sitting on the deck watching over the blue waters of the bay - dreamy! Kids had fun at the beach and in the pool. Highly recommend.

Idyllic gem on Georgian bay. Perfect for a small family getaway by the lake. The resort pool is a big plus for the kids. Beautiful surroundings and stunning sunsets. Jefferson is a great host. Very friendly and responsive. He kindly accommodated our request.

Definitely will be booking again. Very relaxing!

the cottage was really cute and it was right on the water with gorgeous views. we stayed in late December/January so the weather was as you would expect in canada but I would imagine that being right on your own private beach during the summer would be spectacular. I would definitely come and stay again. Janna was a great host and responded promptly to any inquiries we had. thank you for a great stay and we will see you again

This place was super amazing, very well maintained property and a huge property. Views are amazing, from each and every room. Bijan was extremely helpful and always responsive.must visit cottage in Ontario. Best part was super huge windows which makes a huge difference.

It was great to stay at this location. My siblings who came from UK and USA were impressed with the location and the way the unit is maintained with all the amenities provided. Look forward to stay there again.

We 4 friends stayed for a week. The large 2-storey cottage on a quiet cul de sac was spacious with multiple bedrooms and plenty of lounge area in and a large deck out, with a beautiful view of the bay looking east out to Georgian Bay – morning sun out front, most sleeping areas in the back to allow sleeping in! 1-1/2 baths, with the half an en suite. A sandy bottom bay with long shallow great for kids, well-constructed fire pit, and kayaks await outside. Inside is a large modern fridge and deluxe gas range, an island bar counter, large dining area overlooking the bay. No TV but you won’t miss it with all the activities in the area – close to supplies in Wiarton, Lion’s Head, and incredible lookout points on the Bruce Trail. No A/C but evening temps are reasonable, at worst open a window and enjoy the ceiling fans. Great high-speed internet. We all came away relaxed and happy to recommend this as a truly Great Canadian getaway.

Our stay at the cottage at Erika and David's place was nothing short of delightful. Nestled right on the shore of Hog Bay, this quaint retreat offered the perfect blend of tranquility and charm. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the serene surroundings and picturesque views. The newly renovated cottage exuded warmth and coziness, making us feel instantly at home. The attention to detail in the decor was evident, with thoughtful touches that added to the overall ambiance. We cannot wait to return and create more unforgettable memories in this hidden gem by the bay. Highly recommended!

The home was spacious and comfortable. The added amenities were so wonderful and it was fully stocked with towels and shampoo/ conditioner as well as body wash. All the beds were great and each person from our family slept great. The kids loved the play room and shooting hoops. The views were scenic and stunning. Soaking in the hot tub while overlooking the lake and seeing sailboats in the distance was very peaceful. What a great find. The host Marisa was kind, thoughtful and even left us some goodies! We would highly recommend this rental location to anyone.

Wendy’s place was perfect. The lake house is newly renovated and has a large kitchen, many seating areas and high ceilings with natural light. The beach is peaceful and water crystal clear. The pictures don’t do it justice. It’s heaven in Ontario. Wendy was an excellent host. We can’t wait to be back! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Jane was an amazing host with a beautiful home and peaceful, gorgeous waterfront garden. She was responsive even before we got there with local recommendations and while we were there as well. She ensured we had everything we needed and really opened up her home to us. Would definitely stay again if I was back in the region!
