Holiday rentals with a fire pit in McHenry

This house was exactly what we wanted for our relaxing weekend. It was easy to find, very clean, and peaceful. It had more than enough space for the 5 of us and had all of the amenities that we needed. Dang was very welcoming and always responsive to our messages. We would definitely stay here again.

The house was exactly what we expected based on the listing. The house was clean, modern and we enjoyed the lake views. Our family also enjoyed the privacy of the backyard for the fire pit and hot tub. A lot of homes in this area have steep driveways and we appreciate that this house’s driveway wasn’t that steep. It could easily hold two cars. We also had great communication with from the host. This was a great stay for our family of 4!

Great location - walking distance from Wisp for skiing and tubing (though not easy with gear) and a short drive to the grocery store. This was our second stay at this property and we love how family friendly it is - the kids love the game room and climbing wall and it’s a good setup for multiple families.

Steve’s place was awesome! We do an annual deep creek trip every year with a few other couples and try new places each time. This place was the biggest we’ve stayed at, and was easily the best location! It was near the grocery stores and bars/restaurants. We went when it was very snowy, but was still easy to access. The rooms were spacious, and clean. Having a bathroom for each bedroom was also a huge plus. Basement was massive, lots of games etc. Didn’t get to use the outside as much as we’d like due to the temps and wind, but finally was warming up a bit on the last day. Hot tub was clean, and maintained. Overall, great experience!

Quiet place to stay for Wisp. Was a bit of a hike to ski in/out but overall the house fit our need perfectly: kitchen was well stocked, hot tub in good condition, right off the slopes, and comfy foam beds.

Loved our stay here! Great outdoor fire pit area where the kids loved roasting marshmallows. The roasting sticks provided were a nice touch. Interior was cozy and clean. Nicest house we’ve stayed at near Deep Creek.

To start off the house was gorgeous and very cozy, it was easy to navigate the house in the neighborhood and the neighbors were very helpful and friendly when our cars got stuck in the snow. The house itself self is fully stocked when it coming to cooking or hosting small dinner events. And the view of the lake its self is very beautiful. It was very easy to reach and communicate to David when we needed help and this is a great place to spend some quality family time.

Very much enjoyed staying here with friends and their families! We loved playing pool and shuffle board and family meal around the large dining table! Less than 15 minutes from Wisp for snow tubing and snowboarding!

I had an amazing stay at this Airbnb! From the moment I arrived, I was blown away by how beautiful and immaculately clean the home was. It was clear that the host takes great pride in maintaining the space, as everything was spotless and well-organized. The decor was stylish and comfortable, making it feel like a true home away from home. What truly set this experience apart, however, was Diane. Not only was she incredibly welcoming, but she went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. They were always available to answer any questions and responded quickly to any requests. Whether it was providing local recommendations or offering small thoughtful touches throughout the home, it was clear that Diane genuinely cared about creating an exceptional experience for their guests. I truly felt valued and taken care of throughout my stay. It was an experience that exceeded all expectations, and I couldn’t recommend this Airbnb more highly. I will absolutely be returning

Kristos’s property was awesome! Great location away from the town center with plenty of space for your dog to run around. Kristos was very friendly and had plenty of recommendations for us. I would recommend Kristos’s property for anyone visiting Morgantown.

This was such a cute place. It was so spacious, way more than we needed, but for the price, it was a steal. I would recommend this lovely home to everyone!

We had a quick one-night stay to visit Fallingwater, and the Stay in Ohiopyle was just great! Very comfortable and thoughtfully furnished space, in a great location in center of the little town, and super close to many beautiful attractions in the area.

Nice place. Clean and private. Bought 15 minutes to everywhere we went in Morgantown but that’s what we wanted! Would recommend.

Me and my now fiancés stay couldn’t have been better, Laura was very helpful and responsive with everything and her cabin was more than we expected through pictures! 100% will be staying here again!

The cabin is so cute. It is absolutely amazing. The style is perfect, the kitchen was very clean and the hot tub was so comfortable. The only negatives I can think of are that the hot tub controls are a little unintuitive and that my girlfriend and I both missed the driveway the first time that we drove by. Other than that, the cabin was an amazing place to spend our Valentine's Day weekend!

Location was fantastic for skiing. Just walk across the parking lot to the slopes! House was very Comfortable with cozy beds. The hot tub was great after a day of skiing.

We went for the weekend and it was amazing! The location is great, very private, but easy access to everything. We got lucky and there was snow when we got there and it continued to snow almost the whole weekend. It was beautiful! The cabin is perfect. Has an awesome wood-burning stove and anything else you might need. We can’t wait to visit again in the future!

This was our third time staying at Cristal’s place and it was just a great as always! It feels like coming home now - always so cozy and always an amazing array of welcome goodies that always make us feel so special. Cristal has thoughtfully equipped the cabin with everything you could need for a great stay - plenty of games for indoors and out, snacks and basic provisions, even treats for our dogs! They had even left us a nice stack of dry wood in the fire pit (though the weather didn’t cooperate with us on that one!) We love how the cabin is right by the rushing creek so you constantly have the sound of water, especially in the main bedroom - so peaceful! It’s a gorgeous setting and a cozy retreat. We can’t wait for our next visit!

We celebrated our granddaughter’s 21st birthday at Lazy Bear Lodge. The home was beyond beautiful and extremely inviting.

Spotless, super cozy, welcoming and great private location. Large porch and everything you could possibly need was available on site! Definitely one we look forward to return to.

My girlfriend and I wanted a private place for our Valentines weekend getaway. This place was perfect. Felt very comfortable with everything you need to feel at home. Clean and organized. Beautiful surroundings, private, and quiet. Loved the hot tub and sauna. The record collection was amazing and the sound system too. Great book collection and we loved the small note instructions around the cabin for super easy transition in and out. Kitchen has everything needed. Very good heat inside for winter. Definitely recommend!
