Holiday houses in Matagorda Island

We had a great time! The house was very clean and all amenities we needed for the weekend! Pool was perfect for evening wind downs! Leo was excellent in communication! Thank you for everything!

We had an absolutely fantastic time staying at Doug & Sandy’s place. From start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations. The communication with them was smooth and prompt. The space was immaculately clean and beautifully decorated, providing a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The amenities provided were top-notch, ensuring that we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We will definitely come back!

Loved the location of this house, very close to everything including the shops, stores and the beach. The pool was very relaxing and the heater hadn't been on for the season yet and the owners were very quick to get that resolved for us and it was amazing as the weather turned cooler while we were there. The beds were the most comfortable I've had of any airbnb I've stayed in. The only thing I would change would be more seating in the main living area. The screened porch with the TV was so fun and definitely used! I would stay here again and highly recommend! The hosts were very responsive and so friendly and helpful!

Really enjoyed our stay. Xavier's place was a great place for us to stay with my handicap mother. Wide enough for wheelchairs, clear of clutter, and a main bedroom downstairs with own bathroom. Ease of access and location to restaurants and the beach was perfect! I highly recommend

Our family enjoyed the Modern by the Sea -Orange on an after Christmas trip. We stayed 5 days-6 nights. Cathy was great responding to requests regarding the heated pool. Staff was out very promptly to check it and had my granddaughters in the pool the day of our arrival. The house is so comfortable and suited our family with 4 kids and 4 adults. The kitchen had all the tools we needed to prepare our meals but we also enjoyed the Burger Haus, The Tortuga, The Pizzeria and Virginia’s while we were there. The Island Bakery has awesome kolaches!! Our thanks to all in Port A that made our stay great!!

Having a pier on the property was an amazing perk! The lights were the icing on the cake 😊 the room was nice clean and actually bigger than I expected. Everything you could think of needing they had as well. We enjoyed our get away. It was quiet and relaxing as well. We felt very safe being there and my kids absolutely enjoyed it as well. We’re already looking forward to booking again!

This was our 2nd stay at Mimis Casita. A very nice home & very clean. The location is great for us. Close to the beach, restaurants & the IGA grocery store. We also enjoy the views from the front porch. The birds in the wetlands & the ships in the channel are very nice to watch. There is also a small yard area that is perfect for our dog. No complaints. A very enjoyable stay.

Brought my dog down and got a few days of fishing in. The house was clean, comfortable and in a great location.

Beautiful place, has everything you need, better stocked kitchen than anyplace we have ever been at.. Clean, decorated, everything you need. Comfortable furniture, great location, we like the secluded area away from the busy part of the town. We will definitely return

Very nice place, loved the sleeping arrangements. Beds were super comfortable. Kitchen was stalked very well and labeled! Would definitely stay again.
