Moorish House

We spent six nights at the Moorish House and we had a pleasant stay at an authentic Moroccan house. Kind Fattah met us at the local post office, which should have been easy to find but we used Google maps and the directions it gives are completely wrong, although the position on the map is correct. The house is only a few minutes from the main village and once you get used to it, it's a convenient location between Ourika and Marrakesh. For food shopping and cash we drove to Carrefour Almazar near Marrakesh. The house is very spacious, and it has almost everything you need (we missed a frying pan). The gardens are very nice, good for chilling in the sun and exercising. We spent the last week of December and the temperature was between 5 and 20 degrees (C), and the house being made of stone was quite cold throughout the day. The portable gas heater works well, and Charaf and Fattah were fast at replacing the empty cylinder. We enjoyed the company of the friendly neighbour's cat.

Omar's welcome was very friendly and totally dedicated. This compensates for the rudiment of the place. We recommend an improvement in cooking utensils such as microwave and oven. because the restoration in the surroundings is very mediocre and every day Tagine is BOF. We had a pleasant stay.

Baka is a great host and the place is well worth the money. When we got there 6 people he arranged for everyone to have their wetsuit and surfboard at no additional cost! Here you live luxuriously and have good coffee! Recommend buying coffee beans if you are going to stay for a longer period because it was a bit difficult to find in Imsouane.

After some stressful months in NYC, I decided to have a peaceful vacation in Morocco, my happy place. Since I still needed to work, I needed the perfect place to relax but do some work at the same time. Khalid's place provided the perfect balance between the hustle and bustle of the city and the peacefulness and relaxation that I was looking for. Communication with Khalid was excellent and he was very responsive, professional, and friendly. A great place to stay! Highly recommended!

Friendly house overall with a very nice exterior (swimming pool, gym, sports field, garden). Very kind and responsive staff as needed. Small negative point with some missing or broken equipment: dishwasher, washing machine, little cooking equipment and plates, cutlery, glasses. Not specified in the advertisement, the hammam is paid after 2 uses.

Great stay in this apartment true to description and photos, very clean. Great bedding and beautiful modern decor. The host was very responsive and always available to meet our needs. Peaceful location and very beautiful garden for quiet sunbathing. 10min by taxi from Jamee El fna square. We'll be happy to go back!

The place was great , looked really stylish and is a great spot for a peaceful holiday. Though about a 20-30 minutes drive to the city centre. Illham was very welcoming and made sure we didn’t struggle to get to the apartment , also illham was very responsive whenever we had any issues, thank-you. I would recommend this place if your looking for a relaxed holiday.

We had a great time at Leïla's place. The accommodation is in pristine condition, clean, well-equipped, and is totally as described. The environment is simply amazing, quiet, well wooded and well kept. Leila is a very friendly host who gave us all the information for a good holiday. The residence is very secure which allows you to be quiet compared to children. We left the place with a pinch at❤️.
