I booked the place for its location and it completely delivered on that. It is right in front of the pyramids and I was able to see them from my room as well as the rooftop. The light show was clearly visible from the rooftop and I immensely enjoyed the stay. They helped with a luggage issue I had with the airlines and were helpful in arranging food according to preference.

Martine is a wonderful person with a wonderful place in a wonderful city. Everything you see in the pictures is little for the experience you can have staying in this wonderful apartment, thank you Martine!

My partner was met with the warmest welcome and immediately felt home in the unique apartment. Nasser is helpful, knowledgeable and kind, and the location in Zamalek is nicce and not to far from good restaurants, bars and the metro! We hope to visit Nasser again another time!

Thanks Mr. Nasser for providing such a beautiful, comfortable room and balcony for my first trip in Cairo. Glad to say that this is my first time to book room in Airbnb and my experience is very nice because the apartment is clean and tidy. Other tourists living here are also very friendly to me and help me get adapted to Cairo. Cats are cute and they like staying together with people, which makes me feel warm. I will choose to live here again if I come to Cairo in future!

This was one of the best Airbnbs so far in Egypt The host was always ready to answer us on WhatsApp, even the dumbest question. The house have an amazing view to the pyramids and the hospitality was even better. Hussein is a super host and can share with you the Egyptian experience. I truly recommend this place

The hotel's location is super convenient to reach, even on foot, Khan el-Khalili, Al-Azhar Park, Old Town, Downtown, and many other attractions. On all the nearby streets there is great street food. The structure is spartan but there is everything you need. Finally, Said and his staff are friendly and also available to provide tourist information and organize guided activities. I therefore highly recommend staying at this accommodation for those who want to experience the city from the inside and in an authentic way.

Bayt Yakan is an incredible place! Highly recommended! Everyone is so kind and truly helpful with all kinds of matters – whether it’s about getting there or local advice once you’re on site. The breakfast is absolutely amazing, and the people are so lovely! I even spent an entire day just at Bayt Yakan to take a break from the hustle and bustle of Cairo. :) I will definitely come back!
