The Folly is a truly spectacular little gem - peaceful and surrounded by nature and with stunning views (including the most beautiful sunrise!) it has everything you could possibly need for a fantastic stay, with such lovely thoughtful little extras like fresh flowers and homemade preserves in the fridge. Lesley was super responsive and so helpful and accomodating with our requests (even lent us an extension cord to watch a movie in the outdoors tub!) as well as being welcoming and so friendly! We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again and had a fantastic break from reality in one of the most beautiful spots in NZ.

Anne's Fairytale Cottage feels very homey, it is well decorated with personable items, it's cozy, has a well equipped kitchen, with laundry, and had everything we needed to enjoy a home cooked meal. Anne was super helpful on arrival, and responded really quick in case of the occasional question. Most of all, Anne was really friendly, it was nice to meet her.

River Road Retreat was a delight to stay at, and Peter and Rebecca lovely hosts. The cottage is beautiful, clean and in a gorgeous setting surrounded by fields, and with stunning views to the hills in the distance. We loved the welcome bottle of wine and yummy nibbles, as well as the delicious breakfast served every morning. The air is fresh and clean, the water absolutely pure, and after three days we’ve returned home refreshed and reenergised. Wonderful!! Big thanks from us!!!

Lovely little cottage, full of character. Very cosy and the outdoor bath was lovely when the stars came out at night! Would definitely consider rebooking next time we are in Kaikōura.

Gorgeous little cottage in the most beautiful setting down a tree lined lane and set upon a picturesque valley stream. The cottage is perfectly comfortable with everything we needed for a relaxing little home away from home.

Wonderful, peaceful place, nestled in the vines! Plenty of space for lots of people, and has everything you need to make an elaborate meal. We really enjoyed the outdoor terrace, hot tub, and beanbags for lounging on the sprawling lawn. Separate cottage is great for some privacy, although the beds are a bit hard for our liking. Overall, a wonderful place to stay to explore the wine region. We would happily come back!

Amazing place to stay in Pohara. About a 5 minute drive from the beach and situated in such a beautiful location. Steve was also a wonderful host, always willing to help with anything we could need. Would highly recommend.

Such a great place to stay! The mooring out the front was so helpful and made the holiday easy and relaxing. The house was just as described and had great amenities. Love finding such a gem that I can bring fur babies too. Will be back!

Cute little cottage within five minutes walking distance of town. Nice and private location, very comfortable. We were only there for a short stay, but it was delightful. Really pay attention to the driving directions she gives you to get there; it’s easy once you figure it out, but also easy to misunderstand the turns. Price seemed a little high, but could be very typical for the area. Definitely do the whale watching through whale watchers Kaikoura when you are there… Worth it! And if you want to have drinks or dinner with a view, drive out to the Peninsula to the pier, hotel or Kingstide. Food at Kingstide was just so so, but we love to see the water when we are near it.

Really enjoyed staying here, such a peaceful setting and lovely host. Handy location to Tasman village, cafes and beaches near by in a cosy, modern cottage. Would love to stay again

Our stay at the cottage was lovely. We unfortunately were delayed coming in from the states which put us arriving Christmas Day with everything closed. Caroline was super fast in responding to us as we updated her and offered to grocery shop for us so we could arrive and still cook. She was so generous and welcoming, even showing up the next day with fresh bread! The cottage is very cozy and the property is serene. Brightwater is also a great middle ground for the northern part of the South Island. We loved this being our first stop.

This modernised bach was bright, light and comfortable with everything we needed. The kitchen was well appointed with plenty of space for cooking. Bathroom was lovely and clean with with a great shower. Bed was comfortable with an excellent view of the bay. It was very quiet and private, lovely listening to the faint sound of the waves at night. We would definitely stay here again.

Lovely place to stay and very handy to all the restaurants and ferry terminals. Spacious rooms with an amazingly big spa bath, will definitely stay here again.

Awesome apartment, very spacious and super quiet neighborhood. The terrace is a dream, especially during good weather. It’s just 1 hour away from Abel Tasman National Park and Fare Well Spit. The check in was super easy and flexible. I can totally recommend you this little paradies!

A beautiful home in a beautiful location! Walking distance to the wharf and lots to do in the area. Kim was an amazing host, super friendly and full of recommendations of things to do (even leaving us SUP, kayaks and bikes!).

Had a fantastic time at this beautiful converted barn in the middle of Marlborough vineyards. Angela was great, I did rather bombard her with questions prior to the trip, and she answered all of them. When we arrived she warmly greeted us and introduced us to the place. The location is gorgeous, surrounded by vines, along with some chickens. The property has be very nicely converted. Everything was spotless and working. We were staying as a couple so just used the upstairs room and the downstairs bathroom. We spent quite a bit of time enjoying the outside areas, especially the hammock. And got to meet the resident dog and at least one of the cats. Renwick, the nearest town isn’t really walkable. But we had some great lunches at local vineyards and then just self catered a light dinner. A local bike hire company were happy to pick up/drop off so we could cycle round the many local vineyards This was a little above what we normally pay for an Airbnb but was money well spent.

Loved NBS - the house, the animals, the gardens, the location and Jenny and Tony were really welcoming and relaxed - such a good base for the 4 of us and we would recommend to anyone visiting the area !!

such a lovely place to stay, we loved the friendly sheep, cicadas, bellbirds and farm animals. comfy beds, beautiful bathroom, great deck and furniture. A few more small bowls perhaps for nibbly bits, and the small fridge was a bit of a challenge for a 5 day stay.

Once in a while, you experience something quite special in your life. This is one of those moments- Justin and Alexia are so warm and knowledgable, and they are so willing to share their farm experiences with you. This is more than a stay- this is learning, experiencing and just immersing in the wonderful self-sustaining farm that Justin and Alexia is building. They are also very sincere, kind and warm. It is well worth the drive from Blenheim. We are blessed to have met them and enjoy this special place.

This is a wonderful home with a little bit of mystery. Next to a quiet little road, I didn't expect to hide such a cozy house. Walking into the house, you can feel the warm picture of the owner who used to live here, the wall is carved with traces of children growing up on the wall, every year. The house does not have wifi for the time being, but the mobile signal is good. There is a slide, swings, and a basketball rack in the yard. Although there are not many residents around, this house is friendly outside the house, giving me a feeling of seclusion.
