Holiday houses in Markstay-Warren

We booked under the general listing (Having not realized that there were more specific ones) so Dan was kind enough to choose a cottage based on what he believed would be appropriate for the temperatures and time of year. And when we met down in the driveway upon arrival, he was immediately very friendly and we had a great conversation, and he directed us up to our cabin which was an excellent choice, beautiful view of the lake, nice amount of shade, beautiful inside (looked like it had recently had some updates as well), very clean, and very well-appointed - full amenities, very comfortable space…more like a home than a cottage. Had a lovely conversation with Pam while we were checking out. We greatly enjoyed our experience and hope to return next year!

Booked for my dad’s fishing trip and he thoroughly enjoyed his stay. He had no complaints and definitely wants to book again for next year!! Communication with host was seamless and I would highly recommend booking with Caitland!!

We had an excellent family winter weekend getaway! We did some ice fishing, snowmobiling and skating/hockey down the road at the local ODR. The cottage was a great spot for our family and we will definitely go back and would love to try it in the summer months. Thanks for sharing your cottage with us!

Brooke’s place was perfect for our wedding weekend! She was extremely responsive and helpful with any questions we had! Her place is big and private from neighbours! We would recommend Brooke’s place to anyone looking for a peaceful place to spend their holidays

This place is absolutely breathtaking, being right on the lake, the view was beautiful from morning to night time. Usman was also an amazing host who responded to all our questions and concerns in timely manner before and during our stay. Could not recommend this host and their place enough. Our family would love to come back again in the future Thanks again for everything usman

Jadey and her family were so welcoming and have a total gem! My husband, 1 year old daughter and I had a lovely stay and felt so welcomed! It is definitely a place where you can feel at home and you know is rich in memories! Lots of families with young children, perfect beach for littles all the way up to adults! Access to kayaks and paddle boards and a hydro bike (so cool)! We also launched our sea doo from their private Marina which was easily accessible and they were very knowledgeable of the surrounding waters! We stayed on Canada Day long weekend and also got to enjoy some beautiful fireworks right from our cabin! It was so special! Highly recommend! Lovely spot and lovely hosts!

So clean & fantastic! Enjoyed our stay so much, from the peaceful views, to the amazing hot tub & the multiple living spaces so the kids could watch a show upstairs while the parents hung out in the hot tub, very relaxing layout. House was VERY well stocked with anything you might need.....the robes, blankets, towels, pillows, anything you might have forgotten. Seemed like brand new, very firm mattresses and new couches, seems like a small thing but the place was so clean that I didn't need to clean anything when we arrived, which I have had to do in EVERY other place. Owners were fantastic to deal with & very quick to respond. Can't wait to come back again next year! Tx so much for sharing your place with us!!

Jodi is a fantastic host, she even invited us to check-in early to enjoy the sunny fall day. The view of Eagle lake is stunning, and we were so grateful the weather was nice enough to enjoy relaxing on the dock and getting out in the kayak and paddle board. There was lots of wood for campfires and the cottage itself is very clean and comfortable. As others have said, the view of the lake from the cottage is beautiful too. I also loved the updated bathroom with tub and laundry. I hope to return in summer!
