Holiday houses in Marcross

Second time we’ve stayed in one of the lodges and it was better then I remember so peaceful and Pollyanna is an amazing host helping us out with a high chair and cot for our baby!

Excellent value for money at this charming place which was an excellent find. We were warm and comfortable with everything we needed. The place was spotlessly clean with and the kitchen was packed with utensils, gadgets and all you wish for. We felt right at home. And the Christmas decorations were the perfect touch for our Christmas get together. We loved it and would definitely book again.

Cute shepherds hut, incredible views and a great host. Everything was pretty much perfect and as described by Matt...the only thing missing was the weather!

Aros is a perfect place to stay right in the middle of Mumbles Road with everything on your doorstep. Lovely welcome gifts and plenty of tea, coffee etc, lovely smellies in the bathrooms so don’t pack your own! Even with very grey weather the apartment shone. Sarah was a very responsive host. Would recommend and stay again.

What a lovely place and wonderful views, just like the photos. At high tide you can hear the gentle lapping of the waves. So peaceful. Well situated for walking and seeing other areas for trips. Well equipped, clean and warm..... it was a nippy January stay. Good central heating and lovely wood burner we took advantage of. Highly recommended.

Had a beautiful stay at the Stables. The accommodation is so nicely decorated and has great touches to make it feel homely. Welcome gift was a lovely touch - and much enjoyed! Kitchen was well equipped, and it had everything we needed to make ourselves comfortable. On the doorstep are fantastic and dramatic coastal walks as well as the Exmoor hills, lots to discover. Thank you so much to Vivienne and Alan for hosting us.

We had a lovely stay at Matt and Prus Sunset cabin. Lovely and clean, plenty of space for 4 people (adults). Very peaceful location. Well worth a visit. Because we went out of season all the places we visited were very quiet and plenty of parking. Sunset Cabin is the prime location for all the well known tourist towns. Be prepared for the very very dark nights! No light pollution at all. Quite incredible really. Unfortunately too much cloud for us to see the stars! Definitely worth a stay. 10/10 for Matt and Pru. Coming from someone who actually grew up down the road, for any travellers, this is the place you want to be when in Cardiff. Kathryn's great little out-house at the bottom of the garden is big enough to live in. What isn't listed or pictured but also there is an electric hob and pans. That was a massive plus for me. Kathryn decorates in a labyrinth of comfy cushions, throws, design mags, cosy enough for the freezing winters, yet close enough to the lake to push you for a run! In fact, that's right on your doorstep. Private, quiet and value for money.
