Great stay. Had all we needed. Lots of extra towels etc. Loved being so close to the sea, had some lovely swims. Very close to Ruakaka shops, Cafe, chemist etc.. All in all good value for money. Thanks Toia

My friends and I spent new years at Castle Rock Beach House and we all agreed it was our best one yet. The house itself is stunning, views magnificent and although it’s very fancy - it’s also unpretentious and felt like home. We spent a magical week there basking in the views, swimming in the private bay and cooking up a storm. We would love to stay again one day - thank you for the most memorable way to bring in 2025.

Amazing stay!!! Our group used Jenny's place as a 3-night retreat for our staff team and we couldn't have enjoyed it more! All of our staff want to return next year. The house was spotless, the kitchen was well-equipped, and the homestead had all the little extras that make a stay easier. The grounds were amazing! A wonderful place to unplug and spend time together as a team.

Beautiful, relaxing stay in a very comfortable family home. There was everything we needed for an amazing friend’s weekend away. All the beds were sumptuous and extremely comfortable. The beach nearby was idyllic.

Fantastic place to stay. Brilliant place for a family reunion. Just felt like home. Kitchen with everything. Great bathrooms with excellent hot water pressure. Ample lounge seating and great dining table easily seating the seven of us. Lovely views, private and quiet. Would highly recommend.

A fantastic private and secluded place. Easy to follow instructions to get to the back of a long driveway as well access instructions. A very clean and tidy place with all the amenities described, at our use. Plenty of parking, comfy beds with a wonderful outdoor area for activities. This was a wonderful location for our family holiday. The house is lovely, with great amenities, and the views are spectacular. The pool was very well used, as was the BBQ. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The place is amazing, very large living area with many very clean and decently spaced rooms. I wasn’t aware of the 5-10 minute gravel road the house is on. Daniel was amazing at communicating when I need to get in touch with him however the packing up procedure could have been outlined better, but other than that the four informative emails sent outlined everything needed for our stay. The view is just as amazing in person as the photos both sunrise and sunset, especially lounging in the spa.

We had a 6 day family Christmas Holiday here and it couldn't have been nicer. Daniel and Angela met us when we arrived and explained the various systems such as pool, TV, internet, etc. They were available nearby in case we needed them (which turned out we did not), but did not intrude in our privacy. The actual facilities were even nicer than the photos and descriptions provided in the AirBnB listing. One of the special things about this home displayed was the care and art that the hosts have put into it. Everything is amazing. It is ultra-private and it seems as if you are alone in the forest overlooking a beautiful valley. The view from the upstairs master suite is awesome. Our two grandkids spent hours each day in this nice, clean, warm pool. The pool - patio area was well done and relaxing for lounging between swims. . I would HIGHLY recommend this property and hosts.

We had such a wonderful time at this gorgeous place, perfect for a group of friends with lots of bedrooms and bathrooms and spaces to relax in. The location is divine and you really feel like you are worlds away from the hustle and bustle. Thank you for having us.

Five adults and six children had a wonderful weekend in Mangawhai, using Carolynn's house as our base. There was plenty of space for everyone to find their own corner, both inside and out. The kitchen was big enough for several cooks to work in at once and the dining table was big enough for us to all sit around so mealtimes were a treat, not a chore. Amazing view to the east, including sunrise across water and moonscape sand dunes. The spa at the end of the day was a special treat for our family, as was the large TV screen in the lounge. We missed a few books and board games but everything else was in good supply. Thank you for a special long weekend with my family Carolynn.

Incredible location and home for a large group looking to spend time together. We were four adult couples and two toddlers. The space was perfect, having a bunk room and separate lounge for the little ones with enough bathrooms and privacy in different zones around the house. Direct beach access, quick walk to the local shop, cafe, playground and surfclub. Can't wait to come back!
