Everything positive that others have written about Carmen and her place is true. When you arrive in a new country, the best thing is to be greeted at the airport by a friendly face and taken to accommodation that has all of your needs catered for, right down to there being breakfast supplies… and that what we got from this Airbnb. We only stayed one night, so I can’t really comment on the location - although the taco restaurant up the road had some nice food. Thank you Carmen and Roger

My family and I absolutely loved the house. It's only a short drive to town and has plenty of restaurants and shops within a short driving distance also. The location is lovely, with a stunning outlook from the back deck over the southern side of the Port Vila bay and across the ocean south of Pango in the other direction. The house is excellent, with good beds and big, airy living and dining areas. The photos don't do it justice. We would not hesitate to recommend this residence to anyone.

Joy was very friendly and easy to communicate to. She was very helpful providing information about local area and places to go. Her place is in walking distance from the airport which made it convenient for us to wind down before we hit the road. Joy drove us to our next destination on Saturday despite having a busy day with other social commitments.

Namele Villas are spectacular and our family had an amazing holiday here. The Villas are fully equipped with all the necessities. The location is very close to town, with lots of restaurants within walking distance. We spent the days by the pool and snorkelling in the ocean discovering the beautiful fish and coral on the reef - with lots of equipment provided including kayaks, paddle boards and snorkel gear. Deborah was a very gracious and attentive host and Robert was very helpful during our stay. Thank you for an amazing holiday!

Our second stay at beautiful Moso Island at the Sorrento. Having travelled extensively, with a passion for seeking new experiences and destinations, it is rare for us to return to the same place twice. Our return to this idyllic paradise is a testament to not only the beautiful surroundings, but more importantly the quality of the accommodation and warmth of the hosts Colin and Kristen. The Sorrento has been cleverly designed to highlight the beauty of the natural surrounds. The styling of the villa has been carefully considered to ensure a unique, homelike experience, with a discernible touch of understated tropical luxury. Every detail has been carefully planned to ensure a comfortable, relaxing stay. I cannot recommend this accommodation highly enough. If you are seeking peace, tranquillity and wish to immerse yourself in absolute paradise I encourage you book this accommodation. In addition to amazing snorkelling at the property, I also encourage a day trip to nearby Top Rock.

Lydia and Dave have cultivated a beautiful garden oasis on the ocean! Our stay was quiet and relaxing, with daily dog visits that we really enjoyed. The listing is very accurate, both with pictures and property descriptions, and the hosts are very approchable if you have any questions during the stay. Renting a car would make it easier to get around, but we had no issues flagging down a minibus anytime we wanted to go into port vila - returning was a little tricky, but ask any bus driver where the stop for the Mele buses are, and they'll point you in the right direction. As previous guests have noted, the bungalow does have a thatched roof, and there is no aircon - but we were able to stay comfortable with the ceiling fans and ocean breeze. There is an awesome coral reef right off the property, as well as a small tide pool for the less adventurous that is great to sit in, and has plenty of sea creatures to check out. Thanks Lydia and Dave, it was the perfect retreat!

Our stay at Frank and Dee’s was wonderful. Both Frank and Dee were more than happy to help us out with anything from picking us up from the jetty, to taking us to the supermarket, patching me up with betadine and bandaids after a coral cut and loaning us an umbrella for a walk in the rain. Nothing was too much for them. The place was lovely, and the pool was just what we needed on the hot and humid days. The house is close enough to the main part of Port Vila to walk if you really want, or hail a bus and jump in for a short trip over. The view from Frank and Dee’s balcony was incredible as well. If you find yourself with an opportunity to join them up there for a drink, don’t hesitate! Thanks for having us!!

Malevola is a great place to stay in the Beverly Hills district of Port Vila. It's well equipped with all the amenities you may need for a comfortable stay, and the balcony is great for watching the sunset. Agnes, the host, is very attentive and helpful with any enquiries you may have regarding transport, food shopping or other topics. Will definitely come to stay again next time I'm in Vanuatu.

Pango Beach House is absolutely incredible! Pictures can’t capture the feeling of actually being there. The house had absolutely everything we needed and was so incredibly comfortable. The clearest water we swam in the whole trip! We loved being able to snorkel right out front. Thank you so much Colin!

The Big House is in an absolutely stunning location. Very open and roomy living areas, full kitchen and plenty of spaces to relax. Bedrooms are large, super comfy beds with quality linen and loved the connected outdoor bathrooms. We stayed three nights giving us plenty of time to enjoy each of the included activities (cooking class, bridge walk, mini golf). We were able to walk through the gardens, were guided through the farmland to see the chickens, pigs and sheep. The best part of this stay was the closeby walking access to an incredible river system with multiple waterfalls and swimming pools. Carolyn and Joe are amazing hosts and have a lovely team of Ni-Vanuatu staff. There is a small basic cafe onsite and the BBQ and salad meal was awesome. Highly recommend staying a few nights if you enjoy off the grid living and being surrounded by nature.
