Genevieve did everything possible to make our stay a great experience. I booked this as a surprise birthday getaway for my partner, and without me having to ask, Genevieve added a bunch of little treats to celebrate. Everything was super clean, and the little things like turning on the towel heater was a great touch for our stay. Both my partner and I had the best time, using the fire pit to toast marshmallows gifted to us by the hosts, and enjoying the beautiful sunrise with a cup of tea overlooking the most peaceful landscape. I highly recommend staying here if you are looking for a nice getaway, it is so worth the money.

We loved our stay at Cottage by the Lake so much, we didn’t want to leave. The house, lake and surrounds are so beautiful. We had a fabulous few days relaxing, watching the wildlife & kayaking. A highlight was feeding the cows with the friendly host Ann and my son is still raving about his tractor ride too! The house is beautifully presented, very clean and Ann has thought of everything to make your stay comfortable. We will def be back soon!

We had a fantastic stay as two families with 5 kids. The house is perfect for a cozy weekend away and the deck is the perfect place to relax and take in the surroundings. Nige is a great host and we will definitely be back!

We had a great stay at Jasmin’s place. The eggs, bread,butter and milk were much appreciated. The house was very clean and comfortable with top quality linen and plentiful crockery,cups and glasses with comfortable beds. We particularly enjoyed sitting on the back deck at sunset watching the moon wax and wane in the clear night sky. Overall a peaceful,comfortable experience. We hope to visit again later in the year. Garry’s place was perfect for our family during a weekend sporting event. Great price, was wonderful having two car spaces, and a nice big fridge and freezer. Washer and dryer was also extremely helpful for us. Clean, modern, we will be booking again.

We enjoyed a great working stay at Robyn’s place. The home was very clean and tidy with great rooms for everyone, excellent heating and cooling, and it was close to the centre of Bendigo for all the beautiful parks and restaurants and other things to do. Thanks Robyn :) We would love to stay again when we head that way.

Beautiful, quaint home with a gorgeous garden the kids loved exploring. Large outdoor deck with a beautiful view. Short walk into town.

Small but perfectly formed, had everything you need for a short stay. We did find the bed hard and the pillows soft but that is a personal issue. Great location.

Had a great stay at this cottage during the Chillout Festival. At that time, obviously, there were a lot of queers partying in Daylesford, including the immediate neighbours, who we assume were also guests in town for Chillout, so we didn't mind the noise. I assume without a major festival on it would be a lot quieter.
