Holiday rentals with a hot tub in Manawatū-Whanganui

What a great base to explore National Park. This is not a “professional” Airbnb but their vocational home and it feels Ike one. This is a very nice surprise vs 100s of faceless Airbnb locations which. Everything was clean, kitchen was stacked. We can confirm that outdoor hot tub is there and operational. We did not use it but the water was hot and views were nice. The only small issue: no shampoo, only body soap ( or we did not find it). Not a big deal as we had some but was surprising given how stocked the house is. Thank you Debbie for letting us stay.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful and well-equipped property. The house was spotless, cozy, and perfectly located—close to town yet peaceful with stunning views. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed, and the outdoor area was great for relaxing. One highlight was the spa pool—a great addition to the property. However, the water felt a bit over-chlorinated, which meant we couldn’t stay in for more than 10 minutes at a time. That’s just a small detail in an otherwise perfect stay, and I’m sure it’s something that can be easily adjusted. Overall, we highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Ohakune. It’s a wonderful spot, and we would happily return in the future!

Spacious modern house with nice clean spa pool. Enjoyable stay.

We absolutely loved our stay - such a well proportioned and great interior-designed home. The most comfy bed I’ve ever stayed in, in an Airbnb, great for sore bods after The Goat race, as was the lovely hot tub under the stars. We also loved sitting around the outdoor fire in the evening. Ohakune has so much going for it and delish cafes too. Defo will be back with the fam. Highly recommend!

A great place in a great location and a very easy walking distance to the town centre, yet private and secluded. Great communication.

Andy was a very responsive and proactive host which made us feel relaxed and reassured to reach out if needed. The home was as described and suited our needs perfectly. The view was just glorious and the location fantastic!

This is a very nice home in Ohakune. I think this town is the best area to stay for access to Tongariro as it is a real city with shop, cafes and a grocery store. The house is really well equipped and Eileen was a great host. Definitely recommend it

10/10 - A Wonderful Stay! We had an absolutely fantastic stay! Everything about the house exceeded our expectations. It was spacious, very quiet, and easy to locate, making our trip stress-free from the moment we arrived. All of the facilities were in great condition and impeccably clean, which made us feel instantly comfortable and at home. The well-fitted kitchen was a great bonus, with everything we needed to cook and enjoy meals together. The smart TVs in the house were another fantastic feature, allowing us to unwind with our favorite shows after a day of exploring. One of the highlights for us was being able to bring our dog along. It’s not always easy to find places that are pet-friendly, and Jo was incredibly welcoming and accommodating of our furry friend, which made our trip even more special. We were also lucky to enjoy some incredible views of Mount Ruapehu during our stay – a real treat! The peaceful surroundings and the beautiful scenery made this the perfect getaway.

We had a lovely stay. The homestead is in the process of being renovated but it still had everything we needed. The house is large, and with the cottage as well, suited our group of two families. The gardens are large and the setting is lovely - you feel a million miles from anywhere in a good way. Philippa was incredibly responsive, and addressed all our queries, especially regarding the pool.

Sylvie’s house is simply spectacular - from the amazing view to the well furnished and designed house with full kitchen facilities - and it gave our vacation a relaxed but luxurious beach vibe. The property is well located being situated in a gated community with easy access to walking trails and to the water. I highly recommend this place for families looking for comfortable lodgings near lake Taupo.

Have you ever imagined staying in a spacious Canadian log cabin, nestled among trees with real fires and a hot tub? Deb's place is just what you're looking for! It's amazing how you can feel so private and secluded, yet it's just a short walk to the 4 square and only a 10-minute drive to all the cafes, bars, and restaurants in Ohakune. As passionate cooks, we loved the fully equipped kitchen, and the modern bathrooms enhanced the sense of luxury – highly recommended!

We really loved our stay, a relaxing break in gorgeous accommodation just a short stroll to the beach. Private & quiet. Kitchen had everything we needed, bathroom has a great shower, also nice having the shower outside for sandy bods! Highly recommend 🙂

Absolutely LOVED our stay here! The place was stunning, with amazing little touches added throughout the accommodation, which just made everything feel super comfortable, cosy and luxurious! The surroundings were also beautiful and so peaceful. Bed was super comfy, and the hot tub was lovely. Highly recommend!!

Sourdough bread was freshly baked and tasted super delicious thank u we weren’t expecting that. There was a good supply of tea coffee and mochas aswell. Good brand. Open the fridge and there was more goodies for us to enjoy. Games and colouring in books to keep us occupied. Comfortable and happy thank you :) happy new year

Perfect getaway for peace and relaxation! This charming cottage was exactly what we needed. The outdoor bath overlooking the valley was magical, and watching the friendly farm animals added to the charm. The location was ideal for visiting Taupo and perfectly situated for exploring the Orakei Korako geothermal park just down the road - you couldn't ask for a better base to visit this hidden gem! But the tranquil setting made us want to just stay in and unwind. Left feeling rejuvenated - highly recommend!

Beautiful cosy cottage. Loved the outdoor bath and great shower. Perfect for a couple but might be a bit cosy for a bigger group. Great linen and well stocked kitchen! Easy walk into town
