Townhouse holiday rentals in Malacca River

Our 3-day stay in Malacca was wonderful, thanks to this room. The room was exactly as pictured, with a lovely interior design that created a special yet relaxing atmosphere. As there's a cafe on the first floor, we could hear some background music during its opening hours, but it wasn't a problem. The building had some signs of aging, but it didn't affect our stay at all. The shower had great water pressure and temperature. We only used the bathtub to soak our feet, as we were worried about getting the floor wet. Despite being a short walk from the lively Jonker Street, the room was located in a quiet area, allowing us to relax. (We could hear the Adhan from a nearby mosque five times a day, but it was a unique experience in Malacca.) The small path next to the building was perfect for strolling and enjoying Malacca's historical buildings and street art. If we have the chance to visit Malacca again, we would definitely choose this room again.

A great airbnb for me and my family. Comfortable with all the utilities prepared and easier check in check out procedure. However, the shower in the master bedroom is cannot fully used(need to check the maintenance). All is great!

We really enjoyed our stay at Choonkiat’s. The place is exactly as described in the description and as pictured. Choonkiat even offered early check-in (10AM) and late check-out (2PM). Will definitely be back at 216B again.

Close to the city

Perfect for big family especially with Kids. Value for money. As long got place to sleep and shower. Good for those who attending functions, prayers and holidays.(most of the time outside) Not suitable for Partygoers because of surrounded with neighbourhood. 2 car can park inside house. Lots of good food along the main road. Friendly neighbours.

A good place to stay. Host is abit slow in response but he did send out the code for the keys way ahead. Overall a pleasant and peaceful stay. The washing machine was dirty but had to manual clean it to use. Other than that all good.

The place is very nice and comfortable. All the places is within walking distance. As I was the only guest there so there's no parking problem. Will highly recommend here compared to others that is right beside jonker street cause there's only >1% chance for you to found a parking at there.

Responsive host, clear instructions on check in and check out procedures. Unit is clean and comfortable for our big group who had event nearby.

Thank God the house is very comfortable. I come with my family 2 days and 1 night . It feels like there's not enough because the house is very comfortable . After this if you come again you will book this house.

Spacious Home with Potential, we recently stayed at this property and appreciated several positive aspects. POSITIVE: • The house is spacious, with a large living room ideal for family gatherings. • Its location is convenient, being close to town. • The host was very responsive, promptly addressing our messages and requests. AREA FOR IMPROVEMENT: • The house and furniture need better upkeep. • The third-floor bunk bed room’s bathroom had mould, a foul odor, and low water pressure. • The kitchen had an ant problem. The couch felt sticky, and most rooms lacked mirrors, some power sockets didn’t work. While the house has great potential, better upkeep and cleanliness would greatly enhance the stay. That said, we truly appreciated the owner’s prompt assistance😉👍🏻
