Holiday houses in Magpopongko Rock Pools and Flats

Spent a few weeks in Siargao! Many friends recommended this unspoiled spot in the Philippines. Leaving it to my wife we found Kawayan Villas! On our arrival, the staff were all there to great us and I gotta say, I was not disappointed. Paradise!!Kawayan Villa had everything that we wanted. The villas, the common area were perfect and kitchen for me to cook all the fish that we picked out daily at the market. We rented scooters, ($4usd a day) and drove to the market where we had all the fresh catch to choose from. Our own private swimming pool was the greatest! I went to swim laps every day and to eat properly so I could get back in shape and this was the best gift of all. Located across from famed surf spot Cloud 9, we had a French bakery next door for fresh croissants!! Five stars for Kawayan Villas!!

We loved our stay here! The location strikes the perfect balance—close enough to everything we needed but far enough for a peaceful retreat. Check-in was smooth, and the hosts were super accommodating, answering all our questions and making sure we were comfortable. The space was spacious and spotless, and having a private kitchen made it easy to cook meals and brew coffee in the mornings. Despite a sudden power outage on the island, the signal was strong enough for us to use our data and get some work done. Overall, a great stay—would definitely book again!

My family and I had a fantastic experience at this place. The staff were friendly and approachable, the host was lovely and always responded well to our needs, and the villa was clean. We will come back if we have a chance.

Increible villa, everything was perfect.

Aaron was very responsive and displayed concern when our flight got redirected. He constantly checked in and adjusted to the changes when we missed the van that was supposed to fetch us from the airport, made arrangements for our port pick up and some requests we made while at the place. The location was just right for what we wanted - not too far from the famous spots but also laid back and peaceful.We will definitely be back and book with IAO Surf Camp again next year!

I really loved the place so peaceful and relaxing. It was better than I expected. Also I want to say thank you with the host for waiting me in the airport and offering me a free ride to the place. The owner also is very accommodating and hospitable. 5 STAR

Absolutely excellent. The best place to stay. The staff is what stood out the most, they were very accommodating and lovely to deal with. Good food, good location. I will be staying here next visit.

Highly recommended for group. Okay sa hindi maseselan. Lalo na sa mga naghahanap ng budget friendly na accommodation. Feels like a you’re staying in dorm but with privacy. Neighborhood is quiet and secured. If nagtitipid ka you can cook your own food. Free gas! No extra fee for that! Malapit lang sa market. Tatay caretaker is very responsive and friendly. He even bought us Kaldero when we needed. He even helped us finding a motor rental. Nanay caretaker always clean the area. Contrast to the other comments, malinis naman yung beddings and super bilis lumamig ng aircon so super comfortable ng stay namin. Will definitely book again pag balik namin ng Siargao! ⭐️
