Beach condo holiday rentals in Madeira

We had a lovely stay in the Barreiros neighbourhood of Funchal. As others have mentioned, the check in process is exceptionally smooth, with our host waiting for us on the road at the entrance to the apartment. Great to have a secure parking spot - it’s tight to park, but once you know to reverse in from the garage entrance it’s actually fine. Apartment has everything you need for a medium/long stay - dishwasher, washing facilities, all kitchen equipment was excellent. Would recommend.

I stayed at Apartomento Ocean View for 6 days in December. The apartment is lovely, very clean and is even nicer than the photos. I appreciated the pods for the coffee machine and crackers when so arrived. It was a nice touch. Bed was very comfortable and there were plenty of towels, including beach towels for the sun loungers and pool downstairs. I used the little kitchenette (2 ring ceramic hob and microwave in the cupboard) to prepare simple meals when I go home from walking. The apartment is right at the start of the ‘Promenade Walk’ so super handy to get to the beach or Lido area. Supermarket in the Forum shopping centre close by as is the bus stop. I enjoyed sitting out on the balcony in the evening, lovely views! I found Jorge to be a great host. He kept in touch, gave very clear instructions for check-in, asked if everything was ok and even helped me pay my tourist tax when I had problems with the bank transfer. The place is spectacular and Valery provided very clear and helpful instructions. The apartment is beautiful and the view from the windows breathtaking. The kitchen is equipped with everything one can need during such a stay. Having a car, this is a great location, from which it is convenient to visit any place on the island. Arriving late to Madeira, one cannot think of a better spot to get to swiftly from the airport (around 15 minutes). It is a very calm place in the suburbs, and we were looking exactly for a spot like that. We really loved our stay and would recommend it to anyone.

I have only good things to say about this apartment, very clean, there was everything you need in the kitchen and int the bathroom, and the location is perfect, just in small walking distance to all main shops, restourants, ect. This apparent was perfectly cozy for the two of us. We also got a chance to use the TV, you can easily connect to your Netflix and enjoy also a movie in a rainy day. Parking option is a big plus, as the street parking tends to be quiet full at most times, but make sure you have a small car, as this underground parking is in -2nd floor and the turns are 180° sharp, so the smaller the car, the easier ir will be to drive down. We had a Citroen C3 and with some reversing for couple of times we managed these sharp turnes. Definitely recommend this apparent for a holiday in Funchal.

Nuno’s apartment was exactly as advertised. Very well equipped and comfortable. The outside space was much appreciated, a great place to come back to after a day walking or exploring the island. The apartment is very well positioned for lots of walks and local buses are in abundance. Nuno gave lots of useful information and was very keen for us to have a fabulous experience whilst at his property, which we certainly did.

The apartment was exactly as described. It was very well equipped & the location can’t be beat if you’d like to be walking through old town & enjoying amazing views. We loved the small but adequate balcony to watch the goings on & sunsets. Cristina was the best! Friendly, attentive, informative & so helpful. We would highly recommend staying here & would/will again.

We had a great stay at Carlos’s place! Great location, short walk to the beach and restaurants. Would definitely stay at his apartment again! Very clean and spacious. Would recommend getting a small car for the underground parking.

Exactly as described, really nice if you want to live somewhere quiet but still be quite close to the city. View from the Balcony was amazing!

Maria&Luara were fantastic and helpful hosts. The location of this apartment cannot be underestimated.This is the perfect location for Funchal and day tripping the entire Island. Having a place to park a car is bonus too as this gives flexibility to tour the island by car or take off on foot around Funchal.The property is steps to all the great restaurants,shopping and parks not forgetting the harbor right infront of the apartment too.Lots to explore on foot nearby thanks to the location.The balcony/terrace is huge and wraps around most of the apartment giving a spectacular almost 360 panoramic view of Funchal harbor, city and surrounding hills.This view is amazing at night and especially around Christmas time as absolutely everything is lit up with Christmas lights all around the city and up and down the hills and this balcony is truly the best place to see all this while relaxing with a drink on a mild evening. Also the view of the sunrise was also spectacular from the balcony deck.

Amazing place in a great location with a stunning view. Place is also very clean and pleasant to be in, Tiago was a great host and helpful throughout. When I come back to Madeira I will definitely be staying here!

Fantastic Stay, Amazing Views, New and Spacious Flat We had an amazing stay in this excellent, bright, and spacious flat. The views—both day and night—are absolutely stunning! The location is perfect, with a local supermarket within walking distance and several great spots for breakfast nearby (we highly recommend Confeitaria [nos.barreiros]) 7min walk. It’s also just a short 5-minute drive to Funchal city centre. Jose is a fantastic host—always responsive, welcoming, and helpful. We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return!

This place is in an ideal location. Walkable distance to the ocean, local groceries and stores. Sunny all day long. The apartment has everything that you could possibly need. I loved my stay at Nelson's place. It's even more beautiful than the photos and the apartment is very big! Balcony views are breathtaking! Nelson was very quick to respond to my messages. Large public parking directly from the building to the accommodation. Quiet little village surrounded by banana plantations. I would 100% recommend!

Nice apartment in a perfect location! Close to everything. Only downside is that the bar next door could be a little bit noisy, so bring earplugs. would recommend to stay here

We had a very nice stay in Adriana's apartment. It felt like we were the first. Clean and cozy, modernly furnished. The location is great and the amenities except for a dishwasher perfect. The only personal preferences would be softer mattresses. We also always found a parking space in front of the apartment. The pool is also great for relaxing after a trip. Thank you. We will be happy to come back.

Had a wonderful stay at José and Maria’s apartment. The apartment was spotlessly clean and fresh, large and spacious and had everything you could need. The location was brilliant with a bus stop right outside for easy access to the town and stunning views from the balcony. Would not hesitate to stay here again!

The apartment itself was clean and tidy and had everything you would need for a relaxing stay in Madeira, being a private apartment having a pool was an added bonus. Ricardo was very attentive at check-in. The house is very comfortable and quite wide. The building was under construction, just as Ricardo had mentioned and this had absolutely no impact with our stay. We love the stay - repeating!
