Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Mackinac County

This was the most adorable cabin in a beautiful, remote location. We appreciated all of the amenities provided (fire pit being set up and gas grill), along with extra firewood if needed! There were things provided we did not remember, such as marshmallow sticks!! Not To mention the most comfortable beds - this was so nice to come back to after a day of exploring. Additionally, we appreciated the recommendations for restaurants, sites to see, and grocery stores! While watching movies, we loved the tv speakers and Bluetooth speaker to listen to music while cooking. Diane and Allen responded so quickly with any questions we had and it gave us such peace of mind. The area itself is gorgeous and we definitely want to visit again! Thank you Diane and Allen!!!!

Staying here was truly relaxing. We felt like we were actually able to unplug and get away. The property is absolutely beautiful and so fun to explore. This place made our trip to the U.P. extra special. We would happily visit again.

I can’t recommend Bridget’s place enough! My family and I came up to st ignace for a UP get away weekend and this was the perfect way to spend time together in the evening while also having privacy. The location is walking distance to Sheplers which was so convenient for getting to Mackinac island. The space itself is roomy, clean and gives you a beautiful view of Lake Huron. Bridget is also a prompt, clear and thoughtful host. If we ever get the chance, we will absolutely be staying with Bridget again in the future!

Everything is perfect. This is a great place to relax at any time of the year, but in winter it is a very magical place for solitude. Very beautiful accommodation and its style. Everything is great - I recommend it))))

It was the ideal spot for a cozy, relaxing retreat with our moms and cousins, and we couldn’t have asked for a more peaceful setting. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the warmth and comfort of the cabin. The space was thoughtfully designed, making us feel right at home. The fireplace quickly became the heart of our stay—we spent hours watching the snow gently fall outside while staying toasty inside with blankets, hot drinks, and great conversation. It was exactly the kind of slow, peaceful escape we were looking for. The cabin had everything we needed, from comfortable beds to a well-equipped kitchen where we made snacks and shared meals. The quiet surroundings added to the charm, allowing us to fully unwind and enjoy each other’s company without distractions. If you’re looking for a charming, peaceful retreat in Northern Michigan, this cabin is an absolute gem.

This location was perfect for our snowmobile trip and pond hockey games. Comfy and clean. The host was super responsive.
