Great place to be close the university quiet neighborhood

We enjoyed our stay! It was very clean. The neighborhood is safe and had no problems getting into the place. There was good communication by the owner. The description about the place was exactly what was shown on the Airbnb site. We would definitely stay again.

Great house in a prime location really close to downtown. The space was clean and we appreciated the laundry and TV streaming services. You can hear train horns throughout the day but it didn’t bother us and stopped at night. Highly recommend!

Great little place. Nice & clean. The kitchen was equipped with plenty of cookware and utensils. Almost like preparing a meal at home.

We had a great time here for Christmas with the family from 4 different states. The place is accurately described as historic which comes with a few quirks. Nothing difficult but spacing is different than modern houses. We are a tall family and appreciated the tall celilings and showers. Short toilet in master suite was a surprise though. As someone else said, there are hot and cold spots here, we recommend you bring a sweater in winter. Kitchen was pleasant but somewhat sparsely stocked for a large group. Small dining table and stools combined with seating at the counter was adequate for our needs. We wished there was a dishwasher. The grill plus table and chairs in the backyard was really nice but we didn't use it much because it was winter. Parking is very tight. Only room for one full size vehicle in the driveway. The hosts were responsive and helpful during our stay. We would absolutely again.

Lacey was very responsive with messages. It’s a nice, quiet place away from the city. It was perfect for our stay and locations we were visiting. Lacey stocked this place very nicely. We brought most of what we wanted but there were snacks and my son enjoyed the popcorn machine that had popcorn and butter provided. We will be back again when it’s warmer to enjoy the outdoor spaces. Thank you! Well worth the money!

we had to get together for a late Thanksgiving early Christmas out of town family and this was the perfect home to host that! Everything was well laid out, there was activities from our youngest to the oldest, we had great weather, so was able to sit in the backyard with a fire a few nights. We spent a lot of time cooking as a family, and the kitchen was perfect for that. I highly recommend Brickside Beds and will be telling family about it in the future!

Sam is an exceptional host, and this house is the perfect place to stay if you're looking for comfort in a welcoming, homey town. Highly recommended!

We enjoyed our stay at The Bunker. We had a minor issue with the TV internet & Paul fixed it same day. If we find ourselves in Emporia again, definitely plan to stay again.

This house covered all our needs nice quiet place. Had appliances to cook!! Had board games and options to watch on the tv!!

It was very comfortable and inviting, had everything we needed and wanted for a week stay. The sheets in the main bedroom, 100% percent cotton were so comfortable. Thank you Jolene, look forward to future stays
