Family-friendly holiday rentals in Luxor City

This is my third stay here, and I don't stay anywhere more than once if I do not like it!! Quaint little features abound.. I was staying in the new apartment only completed earlier this year so this was new to me too! Lovely bathroom excellent shower! Comfortable bed.. The whole family are very welcoming, mother does wonderful things with lentils if you are lucky enough to be offered some, and her traditional Egyptian bread is to die for! One comment... Please Mahmoud can we have some slightly bigger towels in the bathroom??

For my 65th birthday I took my 3 adult children and their spouses to Egypt for what was hopefully a truly memorable holiday. And it was. I sought large self contained apartments, something with character and prime location at each place we visited. Luxor was our last stop before flying home. Villa Rosamund was exceptional. It was a real treat for my family to stay there, the villa is beautiful and filled with character. The staff were very attentive and flexible according to our needs. We had 2 dinners and a breakfast there and they were easily the best meals we had in Egypt. I think they were good value for the quality of food and service. People seem to quickly forget how much they would pay for 5 star meals at home. Mahmouds cooking skills are top notch. Bedouin kept the villa pristine and never tired of making me cups of tea. Khyry let us down, he never replied to messages and the transport to the airport was so late, 5 minutes later and we would've missed our flight home.

Thank you Clare and Abdu for a wonderful stay The apartment was spacious, clean, well equipped, and the pool and roof terrace with Nile views was great Communication was swift, friendly and clear Abdu was amazing re organizing transport and trips, and was a generous with his local knowledge and contacts.

Very spacious and Mata was great. He was so helpful with bringing in our bags and checked in on us everyday to see if we needed help. The location is also right near the docks to go to the east bank and has a lot of options for food

We spent a wonderful 3 days in Luxor. The villa is unique and beautiful. We felt very comfortable. Everything was prepared and very clean when we arrived! The welcome was warm and Sonbol explained everything to us and was always available for us. The contact in advance was also very good and Amira suggested many excursions, all of which she was able to book for us. We booked breakfast. This was fantastic! We can highly recommend this exceptional villa! When we return to Luxor we will book the villa again! Thank you so much for sharing this villa and allowing us to live like in a dream of 1001 nights.

My stay at Full Moon House was excellent. I loved my stay! The space is very peaceful and quiet. The walk to the public ferry is excellent and helped me with my excursions. There are good places to eat. There is also a local grocer to get some supplies. Full Moon House offers food options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The food is made to order and has the traditional Egyptian hospitality. The amenities are excellent with hot water, a kitchen, living room, a comfortable bed with spotless linens, and a large bathroom. The AC is a lifesaver especially on a hot day. The main balcony view is gorgeous overlooking the Nile River with a view of the East Bank. There is a side balcony as well in the space. The roof terrace and garden are well kept and were great places to relax and take a photo. After a few hours I felt right at home with Mostafa, Mohamed, and the staff at Full Moon House who were in constant communication. They checked in and made me feel very welcome. Highly recommended!

We really loved the serenity of the place. The managers both Islam and Abdullah were very helpful, professional and helped us perfectly. Through them we did the Felucca ride with Ramadan, who is now a dear friend of ours and very very kind. It was the best breakfast we had in Egypt, on the rooftop and the view was perfect. Apt included a well equipped kitchen and balcony which was nice. Thanks for everything and we definitely recommend 🙏

We spent three nights in Sidsel Elin's fantastic house in Luxor. The house is in fact even nicer than in the description, spacious rooms, peaceful surroundings and cleaner than any place we have been in Egypt. The roof terrace with its adjacent studio is wonderful for breakfast and relaxing. Sidsel Elin is very nice and she helped us to arrange for a guide to take us around in Luxor. She also arranged for us having a nice manicure/pedicure/massage on the roof terrace, through the services of Sabah who also works in one of the large hotels in Luxor. All in all, a very nice experience, our best recommendations.
