Holiday rentals with breakfast in Lumbini Province

Sunita's homestay was just incredible. We had a really great time, good and lots of local food and warm blankets. Sunita and her son showed us around and we did day hikes to the surrounding villages. We really felt at home and didn't want to leave Maybe good to know: Either you have to take a jeep to Manang (around 7 hours and 30 dollars per person) or you plan to stay there during your Annapurna circuit. The village lies on 3500 m and I would bring enough cash and warm clothes. We took the jeep from beshi shahar and had incredible views. Also be ready to enjoy some days without wifi (they do have it but only in some places and it doesn't work so well). But honestly if you stay in such a location, you should enjoy the smartphone free days. In addition, you should be ready for a bucket-shower which also didn't bother us. It all contributed to an authentic local experience. Lastly, the prices are a bit more expensive in the village, if you eat lunch, so also be prepared for that.

I had such an amazing stay with Laxman and his beautiful family! The place is an oasis of calm away from the city and Laxman and his wife went out of their way to make it feel like home for me. During my stay I enjoyed lovely home cooked meals from the family’s kitchen and then I had an incredible experience paragliding with Laxman—all organised through the company he works for! It was a wonderful and peaceful few days and I would love to come back again.

We booked with Thupten because he was very responsive and was willing to store luggage for us on our trek. We RE-booked with Thupten because he was extremely kind, helpful and flexible for the entirety of the time we were in Pokhara. His location is slightly out of the main touristy area so if you want a little reprise from Lakeside but still be extremely walkable Thupten is the perfect host! His booking is on the higher side relative to other spots in Pokhara, but Thupten's place felt the most like home the entire time we were in Nepal. Clean, tidy. A large breakfast and coffee/tea whenever we wanted, and unlimited hospitality. If we go back to Pokhara we will 100% stay with him again.

Rabindra, answered all my questions & gave clear instructins how to get to his village. Actually he met me in Pokhara at the bus stop and helped to get on the bus that takes straight to the Damdeme village. His mother, Aama, met me at the bus stop. It was authentic and memorable stay. Aama took care that I would be always fed with her homede organic food cooked on living fire. She now is famous in the area since is the only one in the closest villages who has travelled to Europe thanks to 2 volunteers support. There is a book written about this trip, that she gave me to read, that helped to learn her and the culture even more. From Damdamme is nice 1h walk to a cute Sidhane village. From Sidhane is very beautiful with Himalayan views 1h hike up the hill to Panchase Bhanjyang village. From Damdame you won't get much Himalayan range view, but from Sidhave vews are amazing.

Dipendra and his family were very welcoming. They were so nice to me from the beginning to the end of my stay. I was so happy that they welcome me during Covid-19 while many other places were closed and some were not willing to host guest but Dipendra and his family let me to stay there during my trip. Their place is very close to the fewa lake and good view of lake, mountain and paddy farm. Restaurant are in walking distance and they provide very delicious food too. Most of the time i ate with them as they were so friendly and helpful. WiFi was very fast and very good hot shower 🚿. Highly recommend Bishnu Homestay

Out of all of the homestays, guesthouses, and hostels I've stayed in, Yungdung is your dream host. He always went the extra mile to ensure a comfortable stay, and met every need I could ask for plus some. Yungdung's kindness and generosity made me feel safe and cared for, something that shouldn't be taken lightly in a place as remote as Mustang. His expansive knowledge of Mustang and local recommendations is unmatched. Whatever I needed during my stay, Yungdung was always there for me. Also, visiting Bagaincha Cafe and Wheels (1 min walk) is a must! Absolute heaven for food, relaxing, and bike rentals. Whenever I come to Mustang, I always stay with Yungdung.
