Beachfront holiday rental in Lumbarda

Beautiful place, beautiful view of the bay, very nice and communicative host. The water in the bay is very clean and clear, it's a good idea to bring a swimming mask, under the water surface you will encounter a lot of fish. A beach made of small pebbles is clean and well-maintained. The tap water is not drinkable (due to the salty taste), but hosts easily provide good water. We were with a small dog, which was no problem in the hosts building. However, you should know that there are signs at the entrance to the beach that prohibit dogs, but with reasonable care, no one pays attention to them, so it's not a problem either. Getting to the bay can be quite difficult for not very good drivers, the roads to Hvar are winding, sloping and often unsecured. However, it will be a great adventure for people who like to drive. In summary: I would definitely recommend this place and the host, choosing an apartment here you will get beautiful views, silence and unforgettable experience.

We visited Korcula seeking a peaceful, quiet, relaxed getaway and that is exactly what we got from Daniela's apartment. We loved our stay. The apartment is very comfortable, and the views to the water are amazing. It had all that we needed for our stay. We walked several times to the old town, and having easy parking at Daniela's was great. Daniela's communication was great and she was always very friendly and helpful.

We were very happy with our stay, the house is right at the beach, the beach is beautiful and not crowded, ideal for small children. Of course you have to make sure that you are ok with somewhat limited amenities (as described in the description), as this is a remote place with solar electricity etc. For us it worked fine, we haven't had an issue being there without the A/C, because there is a nice breeze coming from the sea almost all the time, so we were not too hot actually. Overall I would recommend to all who are looking for a quiet and beautiful beach.

Zlatko was always approachable. We met in the center of vela Luka and drove to the accommodation together. A fruit basket , water, O juice and milk were provided for us, which was very helpful as we arrived on Sunday evening

I'll be dreaming of Mrčara for the rest of my life. This place is what resorts try to be. You'll likely be taking every mode of transportation to get here, from your flight, to a car or bus, onto a ferry, finally a smaller dingy—it's worth the journey. The island itself is beautiful, the house nicer than the description, the water clearer than your imagination. But truly, Kreso and Tanya are wonderful hosts, creating an environment for a *REAL* vacation. (Love Denis & the dogs.) Breakfast & dinner are ready at set times, so the only thing to do in between is play. You play until dinner is ready. You don't even order, everything is taken care of for you. One moment you're kayaking in an old submarine hideout, then (after showering and drying off) you sit down on a cushion for dinner at 6, and then chat with other guests till 1 or 2 am. The restaurant seats 8, perhaps the most exclusive in the world! Three nights is about the shortest you'd want to stay, plan for more if you can.

We enjoyed our time spent in Karbuni, our host at the apartment Mrs. Snjezana was very welcoming and friendly, showed us around the apartment, showed us the beach part that comes with it (which by the way has several sunbeds and sunshades). She even invited us for coffee and gave us tips where to find things around the area. The apartment was comfortable and spacious, it had everything we needed during our time there. We especially loved the huge balcony with a panoramic view of the sea. The village is quiet and very safe, and the nearest town Vela Luka is 10 minutes away by car so grocery shopping wasnt an issue at all. All in all, we would very much like to visit again in the future!

The accommodation and restaurant were ideal for our 4 night stay. Everything was clean and tidy and the food in the restaurant was really good and the staff were super friendly. The perfect spot to just relax or enjoy swimming and walking in the local vicinity. I would definitely recommend Jasna’s for a few nights like we had.

We were very thankful to find this quiet, clean apartment last minute which was absolutely perfect for the 2 of us. The direct access to the sea and the view while eating breakfast was fantastic. There were hummingbirds at dusk and complete silence at night. We were lucky enough not to have neighbors as this apartment is attached to another rental. The kitchen essentials and grill were a very nice touch. Thank you!

Fantastic apartment in a great location. Nino was incredibly accommodating and helpful. Always available for any queries and generous with his time and advice. The apartment (feels more like a house) is on a lovely bay with loads of great swimming spots nearby. Korcula town is about 25 min walk, and it’s a very nice walk. The island is amazing. I hope we’ll be back.

this place is epic and the family friendly service is over the top. it started with my inquiry of transport from the ferry. iva's father peter was there before the boat to ride me the 35 minutes to vela luka. on the drive he showed me the best wine shop, a few places to eat and we did a market run. short walk to the fresh produce stand. aside from that it's a scenic 1 hour trek to town. also nice! 5 minutes from EXCELLENT seaside restaurant. another one up the road i did not try. overall, will go back there first choice on a likely return to korcula. note: i did rent a car after a few days to explore the rest of the island. or get taxi phone numbers from Damir at the petrol station in town. special shout out to peter for pulling out meat and cheese plates, champagne, a bottle of rakija we nearly finished and cake to celebrate my birthday. the pool was refreshing but swim in the sea. it's why you go there.

The villa was incredible! Fully stocked with everything we needed for our stay. We loved the hot tub and the views from the terraces. The little village is right there. We only drove when we wanted to explore other nearby villages. Very close to Korcula. The hosts were extremely gracious to me and my family. If we ever return we will certainly stay here again!

A cozy villa off the beaten path, 10 minutes by car to Vela Luka. Private descent to the shore, barbecue, two kitchens, four bathrooms (one with an entrance from the outside), a pleasant terrace with plenty of seating (for both coffee and meals), a clean and well-maintained pool. Generally, the villa is not modern, but the conditions are right for the price and photo matching. The home itself was clean and unreserved, but no luxuries. Of the drawbacks that didn't bother me too much, I would replace: a slightly worn trampoline and table tennis, a gently neglected area at the shore (this does not include the terraces by the house and the pool, which were in good condition), the entrance to the sea at the bottom only through the ladder into the dock, and for people who can swim and stay on the water because of the multitude of sea urchins at the bottom, some appliances (water kettle), as well as the lack of a large sun lounger in the photo by the pool. Lastly, I would add that the host Doris was helpful and responsive!

The house is in an amazing location - beautiful and peaceful with direct and easy access to the sea straight from the garden. Vela luka itself is very nearby for groceries, cafes etc. Jelica herself was an amazing host - super helpful and accommodating making for a perfect holiday for us.

This was our first time in the area. Our first day there, we walked out on porch to breathtaking sea and mountain scenery. There is access to the beach within walking distance of the resort. There are several local venues like bakery, convenience store, restaurant and wineries. The boat taxi is right outside the resort, making it easy to visit all the islands in the area. The resort is within 15 minutes taxi drive to Old Korcula city. Definitely a family friendly spot. The host was very responsive and welcoming. The staff were friendly and willing to help us in anyway. We are definitely coming back and will make this a recurring place to vacation spot.

We had a great time at Tanja's place. The house was beautiful and very clean. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything we needed to prepare meals ourselves. We were there in late December, so the area was very quiet, and most restaurants closed, which was fine for us because we wanted a quiet vacation as a family. The heated pool was fantastic and the indoors section great in winter. The water was warm enough for our toddler to play in for some time. Overall, a fantastic experience.

Villa Blue and Green was just lovely. Situated between Jelsa & Vrboska, across a quiet coastal road from a lovely, quiet swimming spot. The villa itself is all about the outside spaces, an amazing pool, and lovely summer kitchen that is covered, really well stocked, with an amazing bbq/pizza oven that became our evening focal point. The house itself is large, lovely and clean, with great A/C and large bedrooms with en-suites, but honestly you’ll be outside most of the time! We were a group of 6 adults, we decided not to hire a car, but make use of the 2 great bikes, 2 SUP’s, walk between the 2 local towns and use the recommended taxi and taxi boat. A special mention to Katarina, all said before, but she was a lovely host, from the moment we booked to the moment we left, she really made us feel so welcome and ensured we had the very best time. If you can, do hire a boat, do use the SUP’s, do go to Zecevo, and as a treat get the boat transfer to Split airport with North Breeze 😊☀️

What an amazing place. If you are considering booking this place - you should book it! Stay for at least 2 nights, the Airbnb acted as a mini retreat for us and was the highlight of our holiday. The restaurant is incredible. The fresh fish with grilled veg was very tasty. There is a shared beach and a private beach for you to enjoy. I would recommend bringing a few supplies from the supermarket in Jelsa to ensure you have everything you need and then you won’t need or want to leave!! Paradise 🤩☀️

It was fantastically beautiful in this house and we felt super comfortable. All was perfect and as described. If you are looking for solitude and tranquility ( except for some dogs that barked with us in the bay each night), this is the place, we can wholeheartedly recommend the house. Lana’s apartment was a great place to stay. It was clean, secure, private, quiet, within walking distance to many restaurants and beach. It was perfect for our days wine tasting, since so many wineries are close to this town. We had a fabulous time and really enjoyed our stay there. Would highly recommend it.

The hosts, location and house are great! Bed linen and towels were always fresh and clean. The house in general was extremely clean. Privacy is also present. Mario was always easily accessible, recommended various restaurants to us. We were very pleased and look forward to your next visit! Thanks and see you next time!

We were travelling from New Zealand 🇳🇿 all the way to Korcula, pupnatska luka beach specially to stay in this area my Dida (grandfather) grew up in. Boni was just amazing she greeted us when we arrived, showed us how to work everything and even did our laundry to help us out. She would come and check on us daily for the power and the place was just perfect for what we were doing beautiful beach, plenty of space the batch was immaculate and had all the amenities you needed right down to kayaks, outdoor shower, comfortable beds. Highly recommended Boni we will be back for sure thank you so much!!

What a fantastic stay wrapped in nature, peacefulness, beautiful sea and friendly locals. We needed to unwind, relax and spend time together and this was the perfect place for it. Nestled on the sun-kissed coast of Croatia, this beautifully restored stone house is a true gem. Perched just steps from the sea, the outdoor space is equally enchanting. It's the perfect spot to enjoy a leisurely breakfast, sip a glass of local wine, or simply relax as the sun sets over the horizon. One of those rare places that looks as stunning as in the pictures. Perfect spot for snorkeling as well, our teenagers did not leave the water. Absolutely loved it, do not hesitate to book. We will be back for sure.
