This place looked beautiful in the pictures and ended up being even better in person. I was hoping for sunny and warm but we had cooler and rainy. This house was a perfect place to enjoy the rain from either inside, on the covered back porch or from the dock. The levels had something for everyone in the group! Couches inside, covered back porch, outdoor seating in the sun (when it wasn't raining) and the dock with lounge chairs, hammocks, Adirondack seating and picnic tables! Such a beautiful location with promised "Million dollar views"!!! Just lovely!!!

Everything was wonderful! The house was perfect for a family gathering. The house sits on a beautiful lot and a peaceful part of the lake. Everyone enjoyed the available activities - hot tub, paddle boards, kayaks and inside games. The porch was great for outside meals. We would definitely stay again!

We had a great time as a family of 6 (5 adults and 1 child), enjoying a Thanksgiving getaway on the lake. The house itself has tons of space, very comfortable, fast Wi-Fi, and matched the descriptions, but the real highlight was the amazing views of the lake and being able to walk down to the water and the dock. We also did some stargazing at night, and actually managed to spot the Milky Way on a particularly clear night, along with way more stars than you'd typically see just 70 miles from a major metro area like the triangle. Overall would recommend to anyone looking for a quiet lakefront getaway.

Great location and views! We spend most of our time on the water so having the boathouse so close and hardly any steps was a huge plus! I like a lot of places in Lake Gaston. Very easy to go back and forth to the house (we are always forgetting things.) Huge bonus having a refrigerator on the dock. The house was beautiful, comfortable beds and linens, very large kitchen with plenty of room to cook. We enjoyed mornings and evenings on the large deck. Great long weekend all around.

We have stayed at the farm three times now, and we absolutely love it. The surroundings are peaceful and beautiful. Our kids love having the ability to play in the backyard, or down by the pond, or take a hay ride, or just run wild! The owners are so sweet and accommodating. Getting to grab your own eggs from the chicken coop is an added plus!

The house was very clean and nice! Clean towels and beds were comfortable. Lots of blanks and pillows as well! The host was great accommodating my group and they allowed us to have a later checkout time which we really appreciated. Checkout and checking in was super easy and convenient. Highly recommend this Airbnb!!

We loved our stay, agree with others that the photos don't do it justice. The view of the water through the trees from the lounge and balcony was so calming and we loved sitting ontop of the boat house right on the waters edge. We saw turtles, fish, beavers, fire Flys and birds all on the property. Great space for families, lots of shade for summer and our toddlers loved playing with the garden hose and roasting marshmellows on the fire. Air conditioning worked well, shower pressure was great and the kitchen had all the things we needed. Host was friendly and communicated well. Also super close to the shady shack which had a wonderful pontoon boat hire next door.

Renee was a fantastic host, very responsive, and made sure we were happy through out our stay. And when we asked to extend an extra day, it wasnt a problem. The kitchen was well stocked, bathrooms and bedrooms were clean, and it is a beautiful location. Will definitely be back in the near future.

Clean, comfortable, bright and relaxing house with great lake views. Had everything we needed. Spent 2 mornings playing disc golf in the area, but other than that, there was no reason to leave the property. Kristen was a great host with great communication. Would love to visit this spot again!

Natalie was the perfect host from the beginning to the end. She responded quickly to any concerns or questions we had. The location was in a quiet and rural area, but close and convenient to shopping and dining facilities. The house itself was clean and comfortable, with all needed amenities provided. The game room and large back yard were bonuses for when the grandchildren visited. We highly recommend Natalie’s place and look forward to returning! This was a fantastic place that worked out really well for all of us even on chilly days of rain. The hosts sincerely want you to enjoy your time there. It was spacious and comfortable for several of us to work together to prepare our meals and there was everything we needed and much more. It worked out perfectly to meet together with family for a wonderful getaway and make memories together.

The home was wonderful, and exeded our expectations. Thank you for having us and sharing your hidden gem. My daughters both enjoyed all the amenities. We did a little of everything, board games, fishing, hiking, played pool, cooked together and enjoyed the open floor relaxing environment. We hope to be back for our yearly boat outing and possibly do jet skiing, and kayaking in the Summer. (kayaks and rowing boats were also included for use, a +). Also, we loved the lake and board walk in the back yard and fire pit sitting area. We all enjoyed welcoming our New Year in your cozy lake house, we definitely hope to be back. 🧡'd the peaceful and serine atmosphere. With no hesitations I give this house a 5star.

Perfect house for a small family Thanksgiving trip! Private location and they probably have the best boat dock in the cove. We really appreciated that the lot was flat from the house to the dock. The deck was huge and had plenty of room for seating and the ping pong table. We got great use out of the fire-pit. The house was cozy and the kitchen was well stocked. We enjoyed the double living rooms and the games they had at the home. Would definitely come back and would certainly recommend.

This was an absolute beautiful place. Everything was exactly exactly like the description super clean. Everything you needed was right there highly recommend if you’re in the area to look at this property. I definitely will be staying here again next time I’m down this way. It’s perfect. You’re far enough away from the city but yet close enough to everything you need.
