This private home is spacious, bright, open, and welcoming. The second floor has 2 master suite bedrooms. One bedroom with a king bed, jacuzzi tub and shower plus a queen bed with a tub. The living room has convertible sofas and air mattresses. The home sleeps up to 10 and has lots of storage. Perfect for families and groups, but no parties please! We have a strict NO pets rule because one of the owners has life threatening allergies.

Will's place is in a great location for exploring the city. There is a bus stop right outside of the apartment that made it easy to hop on and take the bus to all of the city's major landmarks. The apartment is well-appointed and exactly as described. Walking distance to a couple of great restaurants. Will was responsive to questions. Would definitely stay again!.

We couldn’t have picked a better location for our family vacation to D.C. Daniel and James’s apartment is beautiful, quiet, and elegant, and just a block in either direction puts you in the heart of Dupont Circle. Every detail has been thought through for their guests’ comfort from quality linens, pillows, black out blinds, lovely bathroom products to everything you could need in the kitchen. Clear instructions are everywhere, and the hosts are super helpful and quick to respond to any question you may have. But what really sets this Airbnb apart is the art. What a treat! We hope to return. Thanks for a wonderful experience!

Our crew of seven (+ 2 dogs) loved our time here! This was an experiment of sorts to go somewhere slightly remote with no major travel plans to spend quality time together and see how we could entertain ourselves. For our family and kids' ages (10-15), 3 days would have been perfect, but 4 was probably a little much. We were about fifteen minutes from the nearest retail area, but it included everything we could have ever needed. The little park at the front of the neighborhood was expansive and clean; we walked through the mining camp museum then played family wiffle ball + soccer on the football field before the kids did sand volleyball (my husband and I opted out of the sand lol). We loved we could bring our dogs without having to worry about any cat dander (several of us are allergic). The stairs were too steep for the dogs, so they were naturally contained to the middle floor. Only heads-up is that there were carpenter bees - not harmful, but definitely freaked the kids out.

She was thoughtful, flexible, extremely responsive, and eager to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Her property is is a perfect location, a quiet, clean, low-key neighborhood minutes away from abundant shopping a short commute to Washington DC. Her property is a GREAT value - and you will never find a better hostess.

A great, multi generational visit to DC and in large part because of Jack's place. So convenient to much of what we needed, in and around Chevy Chase and also easy access to the tourist spots. Big, functional kitchen, that we used often to make meals, and a delightful neighborhood to stroll.

Great location for a peaceful girls weekend getaway! It was so convenient to be able to walk to all the downtown shops and restaurants. A short 20 minute drive to a winery. We loved being able to use the backyard as well, including the fire pit. Everything was clean, and the host was very responsive, which was wonderful. Definitely recommend.
