Holiday rentals with beach access in Long Island

Undoubtedly the best AirBnB experience I have had in The Bahamas. The house is beautiful and the location is perfect. Jason is a fabulous and incredibly helpful host who maintains the property in tip top condition. If you are looking for a home from home experience, House of Blues has everything you could want and more! We were very sad to leave and will definitely be back :)

George is the best! He’s the neighbor you always wanted - friendly, knowledgeable, immediately responsive, welcoming and brings great recommendations. For us, George was particularly helpful in coordinating tours, guides and even helping to check on logistics. He truly made our stay enjoyable and stacked with a ton of memories and provided concierge level service. The cottage was perfect - full of charm and everything you need with nothing you don’t. Great WiFi speeds if you have to work or stay connected, but the beautiful beach and snorkeling 200’ away will keep you out of the house most of the days. Above and beyond, for sure - George is truly a super host and we would highly recommend staying at his cottage…just as long as you don’t book when we want to return!

From the very beginning Patrick was great to work with. He had great suggestions for what to do and where to go. The house was perfect for us as a couple, clean with a well equipped kitchen. He was able to help us with car rental and recommendations on places to go and where to eat etc. everything was spot on, thank you!

We booked Sarah’s place on Long Island, Bahamas last minute after feeling unsettled with our first booking –and this gem was exactly what we needed.This is precisely why we love using Airbnb over hotels: finding a space that feels like home. Sarah’s home offered that authentic, comfortable atmosphere we really needed-The kitchen was fully equipped with abundant condiments. Being close to a store for groceries (just a short drive away) made stocking up super convenient. The location is just a five-minute walk to a breathtaking beach.We spent an entire day walking to the very end of the beach (a scenic 3 km stretch southwards),surreal turquoise waters and immaculate white sand. It truly felt like stepping into a paradise.All of it.We’ve stayed at dozens of Airbnbs, and Sarah’s place is among our top -oh..one of the most unforgettable aspects was the starry night sky- nothing short of magnificent. Thank you to Sarah and Dan for sharing your treehouse-Highly recommended.

My fiance and I stayed at Casa de Bahamas for a full week and absolutely loved everything about the trip and the house! The space is very roomy and could easily fit more people. The house is conveniently located ~20 minutes from the Stella Maris Airport and a short drive to the grocery store and other popular destinations on the island. The home itself is very well kept and fully stocked with everything you need for a beach vacation (sunscreen, towels, bugspray, kayaks, paddleboards, floaties). The kitchen is also equipped with everything you need. We were blown away by the beach and the natural beauty of the outdoor space. The island itself is very quiet and you practically have the beach to yourself - it's a perfect spot to unplug and get away from the hustle and bustle. We met many ocean friends including, starfish, sea turtles and a stingray! A few things not noted: - The outdoor space has a firepit that included a bundle of firewood - the stars at night were the best we have ever seen! - Dmitri connected us with a rental car option about a week before our trip which was very convenient - highly recommend renting a car, be sure to bring cash to pay for the car rental. - The island and the home are surrounded by natural beauty and with that comes outdoor friends - sand mites at dawn and dusk, we also ran into small scorpions outside. We didn't have a problem with bugs indoors and the house is stocked with bug spray. - The flowers and bird feeders bring around tons of hummingbirds which was a lovely surprise. - The pool is deeper than we thought and is a saltwater pool which we liked. We highly recommend Casa de Bahamas and can't wait to return!!!

My Girlfriend and I stayed at Under the Sun and had the best time. Cathy was so accommodating, friendly and down to earth. We will definitely be back. We did a guided fishing charter with Charlie and that was a blast too. The accommodations were great and central to everything. We are planning our next trip back already thanks Kathy, Francis and Charlie for the indelible experience.

Beautiful home, very tasteful, clean and private. Can’t say enough positives about Jeremiah’s home on Long Island, Bahamas! Our family had a lovely stay and we highly recommend this home if you need a great place to stay on the island. Thompson Bay/Salt Pond/ McCann area is our favorite area on Long Island. Close to lunch or dinner at Tiny’s, plus there is a terrific grocery store in Salt Pond. Be sure to visit Dean’s Blue Hole, Hamilton’s Cave, and your choice of many Atlantic side beaches. Our stay at Robin’s place was amazing! I felt lucky to wake up, watch the sunrise, and drink coffee in such a beautiful place. After a day exploring the island, it was the perfect place to relax, we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Robin was kind and helpful. She made herself available, but also respected your privacy. Thank you!
