Barn accommodation in Loire Valley

We had a wonderful stay at Marc’s place, the home and grounds are beautiful with plenty to do to relax; swim, sunbathe, table tennis, pool! The teens loved it! Great area too with famous chateaux and many cities nearby. Well equipped kitchen and outdoor BBQ and well maintained bedroom and living spaces Mark was a wonderful host, couldn’t do enough for us. We will definitely visit again, it’s become a family favourite.

We had a great week at Katia and Christophe's with family with two children. Their cottage is spacious, clean, carefully furnished and tastefully decorated by Katia. The place is perfect to relax in peace and enjoy the swimming pool, BBQ, ping pong table and petanque court. The pool is the masterpiece of their cottage with the possibility of covering it with a very convenient sliding UV shelter during the few days of hot or cold that we had this week. A big thank you to Katia and Christophe for their kindness, responsiveness and understanding, they are excellent hosts that we had the chance to get to know better this week and whom we highly recommend. A special thank you to their son for the professional magic workshop he offered to the children, they loved 🤩 and practiced to make their tricks even better. Looking forward to returning. 😊

30 minutes from Le Puy du Fou, the cottage was ideal for 5 (there was room for 7) during the weekend, we would have stayed longer with pleasure. The photos and listing are accurate. Thank you!!

We stayed at Christine's place during Christmas and it was great. We are a family of 4 and the house was very comfortable. Just to mention, it was already decorated with a X-mas tree and lights :). The kitchen and utility room is fully equipped and we did not miss anything being away from home. Christine and Jean-Jacques were there at the Check-in and explained all the things which really helped. They were also responsive to any queries we had during the stay. We would love to visit the place again in future. Cheers.

We had a great family stay at this lovely gite! Beautiful shared living spaces, and nice bedrooms upstairs. Very nice for a family stay with games and childcare equipment for infants. We'll be happy to go back!

We stayed with Julie, Simon and Carol for 2 weeks. We loved the location it is stunning, the area is very peaceful surrounded by fields full of sunflowers. Julie is a great host and made us feel very welcome and allowed us to do our own thing. The pool was amazing, the house was very comfortable and cosy and had everything you could possibly need. We took Monty our Springer Spaniel and he absolutely loved the location, he had so much space to roam free plus a close by watering hole to cool down in the heat, as well as enjoying the company of Julie’s two dogs, Martha and Nancy. The private garden with BBQ was great and we spent many nights watching the sunset across the fields. We wanted 2 weeks of complete relaxation and this is what we got. Supermarket is very local with lots to see and do all on your doorstep! A lovely holiday had by all! Monty definitely gave it the thumbs up! You will not be disappointed if you choose to stay. Pierre's cottage is a pretty house full of history…. The environment is quiet and relaxing. Pierre is very welcoming and very discreet. He told us the good places for lunch .

We had a great time to celebrate the new year with our friends. Superb very functional house with a very nice space in the open kitchen living room. Very comfortable bedding. I highly recommend this old and contemporary home.

Helene and Jean-Luc were very welcoming. The house was very clean with spacious. The bathroom with 2 showers and a huge bath is a highlight. The garden is beautiful and the village it very peaceful and a lovely place to stay.

Marisa is a very friendly host! Her cottage is ideal for a week with the family: everything is there for the children, very clean and bedding of very good quality! This cottage is a haven of peace in the middle of the many castles to visit. I would highly recommend it!

We had a wonderful stay as a group. Three families with children; all found something to do their happiness in this splendid house. The common living spaces are pleasant and spacious, the kitchen is perfectly equipped and the foosball table has brought together young and old around wild parts. Our biggest favorite was the heated indoor pool. An undeniable asset to occupy the children at the end of the day after visiting one of the many sites to see in the region. A big thank you to Adeline who welcomed us so well and was very responsive and accommodating during our stay.

We hired the whole barn. It was a beautiful place to stay with high quality decor and facilities . The location was very quiet and peaceful. The extensive garden and pool allowed us plenty of amusement for our stay. Mathilde was very welcoming and responded quickly when we needed to. We would highly recommend this property and the hosts. Everything was perfect: charming welcoming, flexible, beautifully decorated house for Christmas with a very nice tree, local tips, quality materials, very complete equipment and for the only tea ball that was missing, it was brought to us within the hour. Really a charming place and great hosts. We'll be happy to go back to another season to see the charms of castles in other seasons!
