Uniquely located sea house in Ofoten, close to Lofoten

What a lovely cabin by the sea! The area the cabin is located is remote, with some trails nearby for hiking. The little shop in town has basic offerings and a helpful staff. The view is phenomenal, especially when looking at the auroras. We stayed two nights and saw northern lights both nights! The people in town are also very friendly—one gentleman gifted us some live brown crabs straight off the boat! Would have appreciated some crab crackers but otherwise kitchen was well stocked. Washing machine was helpful. Cabin was very clean. Tea candles were a nice touch. Five stars, would come again!

Super cute little house in a marvelous environment. We spent 3 lovely days at Mette’s place and enjoyed every moment. The place is really nice with all equipment and convenience to make you feel like home. The area is remote, quiet and offers plenty of opportunities for a nice walk. Mette is responsive and very friendly in her communication.

We had an amazing stay at Hanne’s place! The cabin is incredibly cozy and the kitchen is very well equipped. The location is a 15 min drive from the nearest supermarket and we were glad we had a 4x4 car as there was lots of snow during our stay. The terrace is the perfect spot to watch the northern lights and we even saw reindeers and ferrets right outside the house!! If you want to relax, then Hanne’s place is perfect to do so! Would definitely recommend :)

I highly recommend Steve's apartment to anyone who wants to enjoy tranquility with a wonderful view. The loft is very cozy and offers everything you need to feel at home. The couple is super nice, respond immediately and are helpful with everything, including excursion tips. Unfortunately, the house is sold, I would very much like to be a guest of the two again.

The dome was amazing, very clean and comfortable inside and great views. We were able to see the northern lights for almost the whole night. Freddie met us to let us inside and explain how everything worked, and gave great directions to find the place. I highly recommend this place to anyone!

This is the best space we have encountered during our travels. And this applies not only to the location of the house and its equipment, but rather what it is filled with. There is a lot of live history in this house, which is conveyed through photos, paintings, books and small objects from building fishermen. It seems that it is warm, even if you do not sink anything)) The view from the panoramic windows is stunning, and along with this, the stay in this room fills the boundless peace and balance. I don't know how they do it, but it's true) There is everything you can think of from the equipment in the house)) a bunch of little things you may need in the household - everything is there)) And another incredible coffee maker, which makes coffee from freshly ground beans. And a fireplace in front of which you can have dinner and look at the fire. And even a telescope))) Thanks to the hosts for sharing this fabulous place!

Svein is excellent host and a lovely person. He was always available at the end of the phone, even till late when our flight was delayed. Svein place is pristine and exquisitively decorated and comfortable. Location was extremely beautiful next to the ferry terminal. we would come to stay again definitely ☺️

The place was just great! It offers an incredible amount of space, is modernly furnished and at the same time very cozy – just what you are looking for for a relaxing stay. The contact with the host was extremely pleasant, friendly and straightforward. We felt completely comfortable and will definitely be back! Absolutely recommended.

100% recommended! Krysztof was such a kind host, even though we only booked 1 room, since there was no other guests he offered to open up another room for us to stay comfortably (which we declined of course, since we only paid for one), but his offer was greatly appreciated! My friend and I (two girls) felt safe and taken care of and had such a comfortable stay with Krysztof. Overall, we had the best stay!

We stayed at Freddie & Marianne’s place as part of our honeymoon for a week. It is such a stunning house and location. We both said that it was our favourite location we had ever visited. The house is kitted out with everything you could need and both Freddie & Marianne were very responsive if we needed anything. Easy to find on the map. We were initially planning to arrive by bus but instead chose to rent a car last minute which we are so glad we did. There is so much to explore locally as well as in the more classic spots like Svolvær. Can’t wait till we can come back here. Thanks again Freddie & Marianne for an amazing stay 😊😊

The house has everything you need for a good holiday there. We have been very at ease with clean rooms and comfortable beds. The kitchen has plenty of utensils to be there for a few days. The place is very beautiful and quiet overlooking the fjord. I recommend it 100%

The location of the house is exceptional - right on the sea/fjord, great views. The exposed location means that the elements of nature are very clearly experienced, heard and felt. And the Aurora can be experienced from the house or from the terrace. It all makes the place so exciting. The house is furnished with everything you need. We highly recommend it.
