Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Loch Shiel

The property was spotless and very well appointed. We were welcomed on arrival by Murdo, Alison’s husband. There was a very nice welcome basket awaiting us containing wine, crisps, biscuits and other goodies. There was a comprehensive booklet covering the functionality of all the appliances as well as local attractions. All in all we really enjoyed our stay here and hope we can return again in the future. Perfect location, perfect accommodation and perfect host!! Highly recommended!

Aaron is a top host always responsive and friendly. The house is excellent and on a prime location for everything. Great walks for dogs, and plenty places to have a coffee or dine out. Inside, the house is very homely and comfortable. Large kitchen with everything you need. Bedrooms are all excellent with TV in a couple of them and bathrooms on suit. Back garden with table and chairs to sit outside on the decking weather permitting. There's a Co-op and a U-save just minutes along the main street if you need anything. I enjoy Callander, and spent two lovely quiet nights at Aarons house and I highly recommend it. I will definitely consider returning in future. Thank you Aaron!

Fantastic location with spectacular views. We used as a base to visit the Isle of Skye and surrounding areas. Coming back each night to our accommodation was equally spectacular as the house was so comfortable with everything you would need to chill out and relax. Highly recommended.

WOW, this place is smack dab in the middle of all the stuff. It is a perfect location for walking and exploring. We were there over the New Year and even saw the fireworks! Bathrooms are odd but doable if you have a family like ours that doesn't mind the sharing bit. The kitchen is perfectly laid out and a great place to sit, snack, and visit after a whole day of exploring. We also had a rented car, and a dedicated parking spot was vital! The location alone made it worth it; all the other things about this apartment were just an additional bonus! Much thanks to the host, he indeed is a SUPER host!

If not the best, one of the best AirBnB we stayed in. The place is absolutely amazing with a stunning view. It is the definition of peaceful and cosy. You can find a collection of CDs and DVDs which is a cute back in time moment but there's still a way to Bluetooth and cast on the TV. Remote working there is also a good experience with the a decent internet (14MB/s) and a large window giving into the bay and cute birds using the bird feeder in the garden. The kitchen is well furnished. The location a bit out of the city center is perfect. Local supermarket and great restaurants are within quick walking distance. Superb stay. Thank you

Rugosa is a beautiful, comfortable house. The kitchen is well equipped with every utensil and dish you need for home cooking. The living areas are tasteful while allowing complete relaxation and the open fire was an added bonus. We found the beds very comfortable and storage was good. Daniel answered all my questions quickly and fully. All in all we could fault nothing and we would definitely stay in Rugosa again should we ever return to Skye. Thank you Daniel.

We were up in Inverness for a wedding and Darren’s place was the perfect location. The whole place was modern, cosy and kitted out with everything we needed. We also received a lovely welcome pack with all the information required. I can get nervous about sleeping in hotel beds etc but Darren’s place was spotless and the mattress and duvets were soooo clean and comfortable! Darren was also very responsive and when we had a question just before we checked out, he replied really quickly which was extremely helpful! The whole process was seamless and we would recommend for anyone looking for a homely and inviting place to stay in Inverness. Thank you again Darren!

Beautiful home and spacious. Lots of open areas around and quiet. The house has lots of room and bedrooms. Well set up for couples or more. Carolyn was very responsive to questions and checked on us to make sure we made it there ok. the place is a little hard to find, but directions got us there without issue. I would definitely recommend, home was very clean and stocked with basics.

Had a great few days here. Carrie was super helpful. Would stay again and highly recommend to others.

Alison’s place is located right near the train and bus station and very close to the ferries. Six of us stayed very comfortably and had an amazing stay in Oban. We did a lot of hiking, the food was great and there were lots of fun shops. There is a small health food store located next door and an M and S Foodhall and Tesco just steps away for grocery shopping. We highlyrecommend Alison’s place for anyone traveling to Oban.

Lovely apartment with modern amenities -- clean, well-stocked, and comfortable. We loved the location -- easily walkable to activities and attractions but its location across the river (it's just a few blocks from a pedestrian bridge) meant it was still quiet and peaceful. Paula and Simona were friendly and helpful.

Karen’s place was fantastic and what a brilliant host. We arrived on a dark and extremely cold winter evening to find that Karen had turned the lamps and heating on in the flat prior to our arrival, making the flat welcoming and very cosy, she’d even left us a bottle of mulled wine as a welcoming gift! The flat was just as described, with lovely decor and soft furnishings and an extremely comfortable bed. We had a lovely weekend and I would highly recommend Karen’s place and wouldn’t hesitate in staying there again. Thank you Karen your place was great and so were you!

Host was very helpful, communicated well and responded very quickly. The property was lovely and clean. Will be happy to use again in the future.

My family and I really loved this place. Our only regret was that we only stayed a night. The surroundings were peaceful and the views were fantastic. It is close to Urquhart Castle which was a great attraction too.

Stunning lake side view, very clean. Cooking utilities are kept in optimal condition. The apartment is nicely maintained. Will definitely come back if i am visiting highlands again.

We stayed a couple of nights in Morvern's place. it is newly renovated so clean and tidy and very comfortable. it's in a street of apartments a little way from the town centre....less than 5 minutes drive. it was very quiet at night. Morvern had also left out some breakfast cereals, cookies, fruit, milk, and so on..which was a lovely touch, and not very common these days. we had a great stay. and highly recommend it.

We had a fantastic stay, The location was stunning, offering breathtaking views and a peaceful escape. The property was clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Wendy and ude were excellent hosts, providing clear instructions and being very responsive throughout our visit. We’d highly recommend this to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway and can’t wait to return!

Lovely stay in a central location perfect for our Isle of Skye trip. Thoughtful host communication, clean and cosy place. The driveway got a bit icy but was gritted when realised and the wifi was a bit patchy but all in all an excellent stay.

Lyn's place was the perfect getaway for myself and my girlfriend to explore Western Scotland. This was a cosy ground floor apartment that's in a quiet area, immaculate upon entry, contained all listed items and features, and myself and my girlfriend felt comfortable and right at home. The bed was comfortable, the kitchen contained everything we needed to self-cater and there were treats left for us such as shortbreads, caramel bars and jams as an added bonus. The apartment is located next to a beautiful loch and located right near the stunning Ben Nevis and Fort William, with plenty of picturesque locations nearby and guides provided for local walks. Lyn was an excellent host and welcomed us, was friendly, gave us privacy and was responsive with communication. We had a pleasant stay and would highly recommend.

Carol and Don have something really special. Firstly they are excellent hosts, extremely friendly and communicative. Secondly the property surpassed our expectations. The views across Loch Long and of the Arrochar Alps are something you couldn't tire of. The property is very homely and very well equipped and has everything you need to have an enjoyable stay. It was the perfect base to explore the national park and beyond. Would highly recommend and we have taken a couple of business cards from the table to pass on to friends and colleagues who were intrigued. Thank you for an amazing stay.

Mairi was the most perfect and wonderful host who made us both feel extremely welcome from the get-go to our first stay in the Scottish Highlands. Mairi provided us with extremely clear instructions on how to find the accommodation which was super helpful and easy to follow. After a delayed check-in as a result of our tyre bursting, Mairi was extremely supportive and understanding and allowed us to check-in later than planned - thank you so much! The Skyfall apartment was the best place we have stayed in. From the apartment being spotlessly clean to pristine standards, the most comfiest bed we've slept in, amazing facilities, a super-relaxing bath-tub to the breathtaking views from the balcony...it was the most perfect, peaceful and relaxing stay you could ever wish for. This was our first stay in the Highlands and we will definitely be back to stay here as this accommodation is perfect for a relaxing visit for exploring some of Scotlands most beautiful landscape. Excellent place to stay, we really loved staying for two days. Piano is fully functional and each one of us had a good run through. Breath-taking view of Ben Nevis mountain peak from the bed-room was an extra perk. Kitchen was well equipped, hot-water throughout and centralised room temperature control makes stay really comfortable.

Stayed for four nights in Fort William. The studio was clean, very well equipped and comfortable. It is compact as can be seen in the photographs, but great for two people as a base. Plenty of car parking and an easy walk to Fort William, the train station and supermarket. The weather stopped us using the Studios outside facilities, but we imagine that the space would be lovely in good weather. Really enjoyed staying at the Studio and exploring the surrounding area, would love to stay there again.
