We stayed at Andrew’s apartment at the end of the summer and he is one of the best hosts we have experienced with AirBnb. He was helpful and attentive on arrival, guiding us to the car parking space and helping with our bags (and child’s stuffed hippo) up to the apartment. The apartment was very well presented, lovely choices of artwork and upcycled items that Andrew had chosen to also represent aspects of the local area. There were lovely suggestions of places good to eat and visit, always helpful whenever visiting a new place and navigating the variety of options on offer. We visited at Andrew’s suggestion the Observatory cafe, not that far a walk from the apartment, for drinks and cake and it was an excellent suggestion and had we more time would have visited plenty more from his knowledgeable list of suggestions. When we needed assistance Andrew was readily available to contact and was an excellent host. We can't wait to stay again

Excellent location, property exactly as described and listed. Lots of helpful guidance from Phoebe and James on things to do around property. Would recommend and plan to return.

Thanks for letting us check in early when we got stuck. Quiet and peaceful location and imagine very beautiful views from the main window in summer. comfy and everything you'd need away from home. Thanks Michelle!!

Nigel gives plenty of info before check in and the info is incredibly valuable. The use of what3words is a great idea as it really helps you get where you need to be. if returning to swansea would definitely stay again. Even thought of leaving tea and coffee facilities that were greatly appreciated!

We had a lovely stay despite storm Burt! Nice walk on the beach, fantastic meal at St Elli brasserie and we enjoyed the carnival. Great spot for a getaway

We enjoyed our stay very clean well presented. Lots of towels blankets not that they were needed . Well equipped kitchen . We didn’t actually spend much time i. The flat because we were sharing Christmas with my daughter and 3 grandchildren . Bed was comfy . We have a christening coming soon so definitely would look to stay there again . Great location for llantwit and marcross where my daughter lives .

Chris & Jo are great hosts and their home is beautiful. Spacious and clean, we had plenty of space for the 6 of us. Any questions were answered quickly and the later check out made a totally relaxing weekend. Recommend

My family and I stayed at Seabank post Xmas. The cottage is exceptionally clean and Janine has gone to a lot of trouble in ensuring the cottage has everything a family could want. Janine went out of our way to find us vegan cafes and restaurants locally and had a delicious meal at award winning The Warren. She also provided us with many vegan goodies for our arrival, which was gratefully received. I most loved the view. Every day I sat at one of the Juliette windows watching the estuary. Beautiful. East walks on the beach, by literally crossing the road! Thank you for such a peaceful stay. We’d very much like to stay again.

We were a group of 11 people including 4 kids. Linda's place was the perfect match for our requirements. Beautiful home, very spacious, enough for kids to roam around and have fun and also for the elderly to have their own time and space. Enough bathrooms to accomodate everyone and quite a nice heating system! very well equipped kitchen with dishwashers etc. Flawless in one word. highly recommend!

Nice, clean, spacious house in a great location with quick access to the coast and the nearby city should you need it.

Such a lovely place to stay… we all said how we felt like we was staying in someone’s lovely home and was made to feel so welcome. Had everything we needed and more. Location was perfect for what we needed and the two parking spaces were perfect. We parked up and left the cars there until we left for home… everything was on our doorstep. Host very helpful and responsive to one issue we had due to mother natures weather, not the fault of the house or host… all dealt with perfectly! Would highly recommend!

The Old Sea Captain’s House is perfect for a large group to getaway and enjoy some peace and quiet. The house has a lived-in, ‘homely-feel’ which makes it so very easy to relax from the moment you arrive. All the rooms throughout the house are light, airy and spacious. It is well stocked for the most part...no need to take board games, they have thought of them too! Having a large downstairs bathroom with separate bath and freestanding shower, works brilliantly. The location is great and Aberporth is charming and unspoilt. Would happily revisit and recommend.

such a beautiful property, its had some refurbishment work since the last time we stayed and is even better, it's nice to see a host put some money into the property to keep improving it. as always Bev is super helpful and responsive, we can't wait to come back (again)

Great location a minute's walk from the sandy beach. Good bedrooms and dining area. Good space for chilling - big sofa & chairs & TV. Mostly well equipped and working with the kitchen and bathrooms - it worked pretty well for us as a group of 4 friends cooking in & driving out to Swansea coast & the Brecon Beacons (Four Falls waterfall trail is 40mins' drive).

Aros is a perfect place to stay right in the middle of Mumbles Road with everything on your doorstep. Lovely welcome gifts and plenty of tea, coffee etc, lovely smellies in the bathrooms so don’t pack your own! Even with very grey weather the apartment shone. Sarah was a very responsive host. Would recommend and stay again.

We had a lovely few days away. The apartment is right on the seafront so really easy to walk to all shops and restaurants. When not running on the beach, the dog loved his spot in front of the window, watching everyone go by! The apartment had everything we needed and a handy lift to help with unloading the car. The hot tub was also a welcome addition on those cold evenings (max 2 people) My only two requests would be.. As there is only 1 parking space, perhaps a parking permit for the front for an additional car? Or options for cheap overnight parking Ability to get warm water from the outdoor shower after spending time on the beach ◡̈ Jan and Wayne were easy to get in contact with if needed. Lovely apartment in a great town, thank you! We will be back in the future.

Just back from staying at this wonderful apartment. The location is perfect - fantastic views over Rest Bay and the most incredible sunsets. The place was spotlessly clean and stocked. I would definitely recommend staying here and hope to be back soon.

Everything went perfect during my stay. The whole place is in excellent conditions and well kept, besides having all the facilities to give the guest perfect autonomy during the stay. Mike's been an excellent host as well, always looking to have all the details explained and willing to help. If you're planning on staying in the Bridgend area, look no further.

This is our 2nd time staying and it didn't dissappoint we booked a last minute stay luckily for us Naomi had a cancellation and we able to check in a little earlier and as before the Annex was spotless and very quiet just what we needed to recharge 😀 didn't get to chance to meet the hosts this time as we had an early start we would definitely love to return to this beautiful place Thanks Cath & Mike

Me and my best friend stayed with Emma and Jay for 3 months. It was a lovely stay, the bed was really comfortable and everything was clean and organized. Their dog is also very friendly!! We arrived via car and throughout our stay we always had a parking spot infront of the house. Shops and the train station are a 15 minute walk, therefore easily accessible. All in all it was a 10/10 experience and we would visit again any time.
