Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Ljubljana

The apartment is brand new, equipped with all the comforts, including a washing machine and a dishwasher. The location is stunning, surrounded by greenery with beautiful landscapes and meadows with cows and horses. Despite this, it's only a 15-minute drive to the center of Ljubljana. And within less than an hour's drive, you can visit many places of interest like the Postojna Caves or Lake Bled.However, I want to make a special mention of Nataša and her wonderful family. They welcomed us warmly, making us feel at home. They were kind, accommodating, and fulfilled our every need. Every day, they brought us fresh fruit and vegetables from the garden, and the granny cooked traditional Slovenian dishes for us to try. They were also amazing with our dogs, providing every kind of comfort for them and taking care of them when we couldn't bring them along. Thank you to super-host Nataša, Gašper, Granny, and the whole family, for making us feel at home!

Thanks to this home, we discovered the amazing intermittent lake of Cerknica. We enjoyed it so much that we extended another 2 nights. A peaceful corner from which we were able to discover the caves of the region, the Adriatic coast and the capital Ljubljana. We'd love to go back.

If one need to unwind and reset oneself look no further. Barbara's property is "the place". With views of the Zbilije lake and hundreds of Swans it create a dreamlike ambience. Highly recommend. I surely will return to this amazing property. Barbara is an amazing host.

Andrew was a great host. He was always responsive within minutes. He went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. As others have said the location was in close walking distance to restaurants. As a matter of fact we had a beautiful walk along the water to the centre where most restaurants were. I’m sure it is even more beautiful to visit in the summer. I highly recommend staying at Andrew’s place when visiting Ljubljana. Note lake Bled and the Postojna Cave are a must see.

It is a peaceful place, a beautiful house, and a very accommodating host.

Perfect spot for a bigger group. We were with 7 and it was very comfortable. Good kitchen and bathrooms and a very calm neighbourhood.

Petra’s place is fantastic for a larger group. It has EVERYTHING you need and is great for keeping kids entertained as well e.g. large and well-equipped playroom and pool. Petra was the most amazing hostess; very responsive, lots of great local recommendations, flexible and extremely friendly and welcoming. Petra made us feel right at home and we will definitely be back in Slovenia again.

We had a wonderful stay at Katarina's house. The house was well equipped and in a great location for us to explore Slovenia. Katarina was super helpful and ensured we had everything we needed!

Everything was great! The house feels inviting and cozy, good to relax after a day out exploring. Fabijan's grandparents were very kind and helpful at all times.

We had a great time at Jernej's place. The apartment was spotless, very well equipped and very well located. The neighborhood is very nice, we are quickly on the banks of the river and very quickly in the center too. Jernej is very responsive and welcoming. We highly recommend it.

The apartment was a great place to stay. We really enjoyed the easy walk through the beautiful Tivoli Park into the city centre and attractions. The apartment itself was comfortable, spacious, well decorated and had a fantastic kitchen. We really enjoyed using the appliances. We also loved being able to do our washing - a great laundry set up. Tara, Jelena’s daughter was great at answering any queries. We would definitely stay here again if visiting Ljubljana.

Great location very quiet. Very central and makes it easy to reach every part of the country. Big plus: free parking. Very friendly host and very responsive! This place is more than enough for those who want to visit Slovenia in a few days, I recommend it.

Great location just outside the historic center and can be reached on foot in 20 minutes. Quiet area, private car parking. Clean and stocked apartment, tastefully furnished, Katja is kind and helpful. Comfortable bed.

Our family of 4 had a great stay at the House of Adventure! The hosts met us on arrival and enthusiastically shared their recommendations on what to do in the area. The home was comfortable and well-equipped and features endless hiking and cycling just out the front door. Ljubljana, Lake Bled, and other must-see tourist stops were an easy day-trip for us. We would highly recommend this stay!

Perfect villa in a fabulous location, nice views, well equiped and modern, comfortable in all the ways, close to trail paths, bike trails, ski resorts. We had a great and relaxing time and we sure intend to go back again sometime.

What’s not to like about our stay at the Villa Laura! It accommodated our family of 9 perfectly, is well equipped with everything you need, and strategically located close to town. The host, Ziga, was a pleasure to deal with from start to finish. A couple of tips. There is a great restaurant called Fine Food Berc within a 5 minute walk from the Villa Laura. For those more active folks jogging around the lake is a great way to start the day and only 4.5 miles or take a hike up the small ski hill near Ziga’s place to capture some beautiful views of the lake and surrounding mountains.

A hostess with a warm heart. The destination was a paradise in the middle of nature but with every comfort. Beautiful views from the various balconies. Located along a wonderful river. Nice walks. Top pool to refresh. What a luxury in the beautiful Slovenian nature.

Excellent Accomodation and the host, Boris, was great. We enjoyed our time thoroughly.

Tadej's place is simply wonderful. Spacious and cozy rooms, very clean kitchen and rooms, in the fridge of wine and beer for us. The accommodation, in a very small and quiet village of the Slovenian Karst, still allows you to visit the surrounding areas, especially the famous caves of Postumia and the capital Ljubljana. The heated outdoor Jacuzzi and private sauna were the excellence that qualifies the property. Highly recommended

Set in beautiful surroundings the view from the terrace is absolutely stunning. The property is very well equipped and comfortable , we did have some issues with the hot water initially but Luka is very responsive to messages and everything was sorted out. We definitely enjoyed our stay!
