Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Lion's Head

Great cozy place, lots of room for bigger groups, awesome for a ski trip. Super close to mountain

We had a great stay here! Helen was so accommodating and was able to host us so last minute after another location cancelled on us the day of! We really enjoyed playing the large selection of board games that were available there and the kids loved the bunk beds! Very clean

Loved the place! Exactly as described, fully equipped place, very close to ski hill (close enough to go back and forth multiple times a day), and super great host. We will be back!

House was perfect, it was cute, rooms are nice and big, both living rooms are huges. Michael is a great hot and super pro active whenever you have a question. Wouldnt hesitate to stay again.

The setting is beautiful; very peaceful without feeling remote. The renovations done to the farm house are tasteful and the home is beautifully decorated. All appliances are new and easy to use. Kitchen is well equipped. There are several options for eating: dining room, kitchen stools, screened in patio, outside. The living room was comfortable and includes a working wood fireplace. Johanna was extremely proactive in providing information and asking if all was as expected. As a small group of longtime friends this was exactly what we were hoping for. There was lots of common space, individual bedrooms, good internet connection. Would be very likely to rent again if/when we were to go to this area again.

This was our second year at Carrie and Dan's cottage and once again my family and I had a fantastic time. The house is perfectly situated on the river with a nice beach and it has all of the amenities needed. Dan communicated regularly and checked in with us to ensure we had everything we needed. This is a beautiful property which anyone would have fun at.

We passed a wonderful weekend at Meaford in winter. The house was as described, beautiful and cozy to enjoy the ski resorts nearby. Jenny was always available to answer and question or instruction. Good place to spend a peaceful break from the daily routine.

We had a lovely stay in Port Elgin. The nearby beach is stunning. Lisa's place is clean and very tidy. It was comfortbale for our large wedding party. Excellent stay!

Wendy is an amazing host, the home is super cozy and has a beautiful view of the backyard. It's a nice and quiet, great place to stay in the winter. Would definitely come back when we get the chance

Jim’s place is absolutely perfect for a solo traveler, as myself, or a couple. The apartment is newly remodeled and very well appointed. The location can’t be beat as it is a block away from downtown Kincardine’s Main Street and just a few blocks away from the Lighthouse, marina and Lake Huron. Jim is super nice and respectful of your privacy. A great find!

We had a great 3 night stay at Sarah’s place! It was the perfect cozy spot for us to relax and very close to our family who lives in Owen sound. The bed was very comfy , kitchen was perfect for cooking. Fireplace made it very cozy. Very grateful for the delicious coffee and few snacks! Sarah was very helpful to communicate with. We felt at home and would come stay again! Thanks very much!

This is a great place for a couple, located right by the water with a lovely view over the Bay. Super easy to find, and only a 2 minute walk into town and right across from the beach. A comfortable bed, all the kitchen utensils necessary and lovely propane stove in the living area. Private driveway near the doorway to the Unit. We would come again!

We had a very pleasant time at Dave’s studio. He gave us very clear and precise instructions so we knew exactly what to expect and how things worked. The studio was clean and well maintained and it was very warm and cozy even as it was snowing outside. The WiFi worked perfectly and so did the cable tv. My daughter enjoyed the hot tub!

Natalie's place was in a convenient location since we wanted to ski a t blue mtn! loved the option of having the opportunity to ski in/ski out...and also it was close to drive to the other parking lots too!! nice quiet place! thankyou!!!

I loved Donna's place. I am from Owen sound originally and I went for the weekend to visit my mom who's in a nursing home and it was just up the street. It was wonderful, quiet. I chilled on the couch In front of. Her fireplace and looked out at the cardinals in the great snowy backyard, I would love to come back since I spend a lot of time up in one sound. Thank you Donna.. I will be back!

The place was very cozy and great for my wife and I. A short walk to the northern chair lift as described, although, the run and chairlift the chalet is on does not have lighting and is closed for night skiing, so you cannot use the lift or get back to chalet after a certain time (unless you ignore the trail closed sign and ski in the dark to the chalet entrance like us!). All in all a great stay for us and would recommend!

My friend and I stayed over the family day weekend for one night and had the most amazing experience! Katherine and Armand were so friendly and welcoming! They have a beautiful property that is picturesque and peaceful! Our check in was super easy! The room was spacious and beds so comfortable! We utilized the hot tub, which was so relaxing after a day of skiing! The weather deteriorated in the evening and initially we had planned to go out dinner but Armand and Katherine ended up generously cooking all the guests dinner! We had a delicious egg and bacon breakfast with toast, coffee, and orange juice. The laneway was blown out both when we arrived and prior to leaving, making it easy to get out during the winter! We had a wonderful time staying here and will definitely come back for another visit! We would recommend this oasis for everyone! Thank you so much Katherine and Armand for your kindness and generosity!

We spent two nights here and had a very pleasant experience. The room was clean and tidy, with all necessary amenities well provided. The host was very friendly and easy to communicate with. One thing to note is that the basement can be slightly colder than the upper floors during winter. As a male, I found it acceptable, but females might feel it’s a bit chilly. Overall, it’s a great place to stay.

Edward’s place is exactly as described in the listing. Clean, luxurious, and modern design. He responds in a timely professional manner and is accommodating. He checks up on you to make sure to follow the rules since it is a calm and peaceful neighbourhood. Great place to stay for our first ski trip to blue mountain.1

It was exactly what we were looking for and exactly as drescribed. Throughout the stay, If we had additional questions, Irina was very responsive and accomodating. All in all, it was a prefect get-away!!

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb with our family. The property features a huge backyard, unlike anything we've seen before, with stunning natural surroundings and a swimming pool that goes up to 8 feet deep—perfect for both kids and adults. The house itself had everything we needed, with spacious bedrooms and a comfortable bathroom. One thing to note: they don’t provide towels, so be sure to bring enough bath towels for your stay. Other than that, it was an excellent experience, and we’d definitely consider staying here again!"

We had a great Thanksgiving with friends and family. There are many things to do besides the staycation because the basement has a playroom with billiards, air hockey, some board games and a small gym. We cooked for dinner and the kitchen had complete tools, except there wasn't salt available (which was our fault cause we forgot to bring one). Fortunately, there's a 5-minute drive supermarket and we were able to get salt. The host was very helpful by providing all of the closeby supermarkets, cafes, and restaurants before our stay. Would come back in Summer next year to enjoy the beach. :)

Great place, clean and very comfortable. Easy location to get to slopes and team was awesome to communicate with. Will definitely be back - 5 stars.
