Really lovely flat with very clear instructions on how to get there and get in. Great location and was easily walkable in to town for dinner. The flat was lovely and clean, and had everything we needed. I loved the attention to detail such as dog bowls (we forgot ours), tupperware (which makes lunches easier) and the selection of tea, coffee and biscuits was a bonus touch. Would highly recommend and hope to be back.

First of all, Effie is a phenomenal host — very responsive, helpful, and kind! Her place was perfect, extremely comfortable and well appointed! And the location was awesome — walkable and just a beautiful area!! I highly recommend Effie’s rental!!

What an Amazing place to stay. The location was fantastic as it was so close to all the shops or to go for something to eat. The apartment was very clean and comfortable with everything I could possibly need. I will definitely stay again.

We stayed 4 nights during HebCelt. The apartment is in a perfect location with everything in walking distance. There is ample parking available and everything that you could possibly wish for in the apartment. Everything was extremely clear, WiFi was fast. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again!

Wonderful stay at Rhona's place. Although we made the booking last minute and the weather outside was harsh, she accomodates us and put in the effort to get it ready. There are a lot of good restaurants a few meters away. Great stay indeed. Thanks Rhona!

We had a great stay. The flat was spotlessly clean and well equipped. The welcome package was a welcome bonus and lots of games for the teens. The flat was perfectly located - Very walkable to get into town and to explore the castle grounds. Would recommend. Thanks for a pleasant stay.

Firstly, the location next to the water is beautiful, very tranquil and peaceful, but still handy for walks in the Torridon area and for facilities in Shieldaig and Torridon. The house is very comfortable and has everything you might need. Excellent communication with the host. The only downside was having to leave.

We found The Police House perfect for us! It was so quiet! The Smart tv was great after full days out, kitchen easy to work in and clean. It would be great to have better bathroom lighting. The drawers under bathroom sink were perfect. The Bathroom is upstairs only so wish big dining room was smaller to accommodate a main floor toilet room but it is not a deal breaker. We would stay again for sure. Liked the shower. Hooks on back of door were helpful. Bedrooms spacious, beds comfy, good range of pillows. Nice bedside lamps for reading. Nice view out living room window. Loved Rankin grocery store - an easy short walk and very well stocked! Has a wood burning stove and had it been colder would have enjoyed it! We had the best weather…sun every day! Ian was super…very responsive and helpful with recommendations and good info was provided in the house Book. Wifi worked great as well. We had great time at Juliet’s home. It was so peacefully surrounded by nature, amazing views from all the windows. Beds were all so comfy and the fireplace in the sitting room was so dreamy. Making coffee in the mornings, watching the sunrise from the windows, listening to the birds in the morning in the garden was so incredibly beautiful. We went for a run, walked around the areas and loved the hikes! Definitely recommended it to all and would visit again.

Great place in a great location, just a 10-minute walk into Stornoway with the big Co-op just around the corner. The place was very clean, tidy, and comfortable. A real home from home! I highly recommend this little gem!

This is a wonderful place to stay. Very spacious living rooms and bedrooms.A grand hall and staircase. Big baths and a jacuzzi. 5 minute walk from the main square in Portree and has its own parking space which solves the parking problem in Portree. No problems with the heating, everything worked fine. Lovely welcome pack and greetings card. We highly recommend this place

I can't imagine staying in a more peaceful and beautiful location. At first we were hesitant to book this place because it wasn't directly next to Portree but after staying here we actually ended up preferring this location because of how private and quiet it was compared to the busier more centrally located spots were. The drive to places we wanted to see went by fast and the route itself was beautiful. The view from the living room was breathtaking, we loved just sitting and looking out over the mountains and fields. We also enjoyed seeing all the sheep. Rooms were very cozy and clean. Plus lots of room for everyone to spread out and have their own privacy.

We had a wonderful stay at Harbour House in early January. The home is situated just across from the harbour beach, with dedicated parking. The in-town location was wonderful for easy walks to warm evening dinners after brisk days exploring the wonders of Skye. The home itself is extremely comfortable, with a well-stocked kitchen, comfortable bedrooms, and a super-cozy living room. There is a modest Coop Market one block away, and a much larger one a mile away (car needed). David and Fiona’s custom app about the home was very helpful. We were quite comfortable here and would be happy to stay again.

What an amazing place to come and stay! Not sure where to begin with the praise for this place. Hosts were amazing, everyone we met was outstanding and the landscape speaks for itself. We had some strong winds and rain during our stay and in some way that added to our experiences on this trip! 100% recommend.

Absolutely loved my stay! Came for a weekend get-away to rest and reset. I left feeling refreshed! 10/10 it’s private and peaceful. If you open the window you can hear the waves from the Loch. Recommend to anyone who wants to explore Isle of Skye it’s a great location to get to most everything without being too far of a drive. Would definitely stay here again :)

Karen and Phil were helpful and a delight. Their place was cozy with an easy-to-use wood burning stove, large bathtub and shower along with all the washing and kitchen amenities you would expect. Beautiful back garden and two excellent eating establishments within walking distance.

Very nice, cozy, and clean apartment in a great location just a short distance from a big Coop and the city centre. The host is also very pleasant and easy to speak to. I definitely enjoyed the stay.

Hazel’s place was a great place to stay while visiting Skye. Only a few minutes drive from Portree Harbour, it was located in a safe and private neighbourhood. All the necessary amenities were provided, however do take note that the bathroom is on the ground floor opposite the entry of the doorway instead of on the first floor together with the bedrooms. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend.

A Truly Magical Stay on the Isle of Skye. This place is a perfect blend of the majestic and the deeply comforting—a haven where we felt both enchanted and completely at home. We highly recommend this gem! After long days of exploring the green, velvety hills of Isle of Skye, this Airbnb was the perfect home away from home to rest our travel-bones bones with a deep, luxurious bathtub that beckoned us to soak and the heated tile floors throughout. Diana even generously stocked the fridge with sourdough bread, eggs, and coffee. The highlight of our stay was the flowery gardens, babbling brooks, and exclusive access to a hidden beach bungalow. With two comfy beach chairs and a wood-burning furnace, it quickly became our favorite spot to enjoy breakfast and dinner in tranquility. Diana and Alan, were the epitome of hospitality, welcoming us with warmth and kindness, especially as an LGBTQIA+ couple, this meant the world to us. They are lovely. We are already dreaming of our return.

The cottage is very lovely, cozy and inviting; the views and feel of the sea - absolutely extraordinary, and the hikes from right out the door are fantastic. Come prepared for all kinds of wind and weather (within an hour). Makes one feel alive! :) And Rosie is the most wonderful, welcoming host. I look forward to returning.
