Jesse was incredibly responsive and attentive, answering all of our questions almost immediately and going above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The house itself was exactly as described—beautifully designed with multiple relaxing areas to enjoy the breathtaking views. One of the highlights was sitting outside by the fireplace, overlooking the lake, which made for a truly magical experience. The entire house was impeccably clean and well-maintained. Jesse's hospitality and helpfulness made our visit truly unforgettable. We highly recommend staying here!"

I recently stayed with my family, and we had an amazing time! The place is fantastic, and it’s clear that the hosts put a lot of time and effort into making sure your stay is enjoyable. They went above and beyond in every way! The property was clean, organized, and spacious—perfect for our group. We felt so comfortable and at home. The waterfront is beautiful, with a well-kept fire pit and a peaceful lake that felt private during the week. The cottage was thoughtfully stocked with everything from soap and coffee to all the necessary appliances. The internet was fast, and the heat pump kept us warm on cooler nights. We kayaked and canoed around the lake several times, enjoying the wildlife—turtles, herons, ducks, loons, and frogs. The fire pit was perfectly placed for sunset views, with plenty of kindling and wood. The BBQ worked great, and Verona offered everything we needed, including good food at Muddy Waters Restaurant and treats at a local bakery and Kawartha ice cream shop. The fall colors were stunning throughout our stay. Highly recommend this cottage for a peaceful, well-equipped getaway!"

We really enjoyed our stay at Ken's place. We stayed during a pretty nasty ice storm so it was incredibly helpful that we had the back-up generator. His maintenance guy Bill was great at checking in with us and making sure everything was working as expected.

We’ve been staying at Jessica’s properties for the past four years and always enjoy our stay. If you have a boat or other water vessel, this place provides a free slip for the duration of your stay which is great! Jessica’s properties are always extremely clean, free of clutter and provide all the necessities and more! The restaurant and general store at the marina (on site) are very convenient. If you do have a boat or rent one on site, be sure to visit Juniper Island! It’s always a fav of ours to visit.

This was such a wonderful, relaxing environment. It had everything we could’ve asked for in an Airbnb. The hosts were responsive and helpful. Check in was super easy. The space itself was amazing. It was a lovely place for a group of women that needed a break!

We agree with all the other great reviews of this place. This is an “end of the road” kind of place. No amenities such as pizzas, bars and so on. Instead you get a profound sense of place once you're here. . People who come here aren’t just passing through they’re here to connect with nature and others. We were there during the off season and really enjoyed the peacefulness, canoeing to the waterfall, doing some fishing and sitting on the sunlit porch overlooking the bay. The hosts of this airbnb , Darrnel and Mike, give it character. They were very genuine and thoughtful in their desire to make sure everything was going well and to ensure that we were having a good time. We can't thank them enough for making our time there so memorable. A big thank you to both of you.
