We had a phenomenal time at this stunning lakeside retreat. While it looks like a perfect summer getaway—serene, spacious, and incredibly private—its winter beauty is just as remarkable. Watching the sunrise over the frozen lake is a breathtaking experience, and the hot tub adds the perfect touch, making it unforgettable to soak in the warmth while surrounded by crisp winter air. Our February stay exceeded expectations, and we highly recommend it year-round. Richard was an excellent host—responsive, honest, and ensuring the place was immaculate upon arrival. We had a wonderful stay over Thanksgiving weekend at this beautiful, cozy, and private home. The rustic farmhouse feel made it the perfect place to relax. We especially loved having access to the many kayaks and canoes, which added to the overall experience. Julie was incredibly quick to respond to our messages and very accommodating when we ran into some minor issues. Overall, it was a fantastic stay, and we would definitely come back again!

The place is nicely decorated and has a functional layout. The access to the lake is easy and the Tay Canal is just steps away. We like the trail nearby that is very pretty in the Autumn time with all the fall colours. The kitchen has all the kitchen ware and utensils that we need. A range hood as a future addition would be nice especially when guests want to do a lot of cooking. The cottage water is supplied by the lake and has a weedy smell. It is only good for washing but the host provides us with more than enough drinkable water. Overall, the hosts are very friendly and accommodating. We had a very pleasant stay in their lovely cottage.

This place surpassed our expectations. The Little Blue Cottage was so spacious. The views, the furniture, inside and out were so fitting. Beds comfortable.

Randa Catherine's apartment is in a great part of town, within easy walking distance of restaurants and shops. Very clear instructions, would recommend for a short stay.

Lara was a great host, with very good communication skills and her apartment was extremely clean and well kept. It is very private and quiet which I greatly enjoyed and appreciated after working long hours in the nearby Hydrogen plant. The location was a hop, skip and a jump to the main street near the St. Lawrence and there are some pretty good restaurants nearby. Thank you Lara for a wonderful stay.

we spent a fantastic few days at J's. the place is a gem. clean, peaceful, very comfortable with all the amenities that come with resort living. J has also been a gracious host, super helpful with answers which made our stay stress free. our family enjoyed dinner out on the patio, fishing and conversations near the dock, fun games and movies at the rec center, a couple of tennis games at a nearby tennis club(need to sign out the tag from the golf clubhouse) and the beautiful evergreen golf course. we would not hesitate to go back next year! thank you J so much for hosting us.

Cozy apartment with beautiful scenery and lots to do nearby. Very accommodating and responsive hosts, felt welcomed in a foreign town.

We stayed only for one night but we had a great time there. The apartment is very well situated and it is possible to walk easily to restaurants and shops. The communication with the host was great and the apartment has a lot of charm.

Everything was perfect. I recommend it.

Very lovely visit from the UK, only issue in the bedroom with the en suite it was noisy from the plant room and very hot in there, but overall a fantastic place and wonderful stay

Lovely space - just like the pictures. A little tricky to find the first time, but its location is part of what makes it so peaceful. The cottage was perfect for our needs and the hot tub was delightful. David answered all our inquiries promptly and even let us check in early when I asked. We had some issues with the internet service, but that was clearly weather-related. And although he was unable to resolve the issue before we checked out, David was very responsive and reached out to the internet company right away and made every effort to get it fixed.

We can't say enough about our stay at Matt's beautiful cottage. Everything was exactly as advertised and looked exactly like the photos. The arrival instructions were very clear and we appreciated the communication leading up to our stay with the house rules PDF being sent by email. We enjoyed a very memorable weekend in the middle of prime autumn colours. This location is absolutely STUNNING!!!!! The sunsets are breathtaking and the property is perfect for watching the sun set over the lake. Mornings were also magnificent with mist and fall colours blending together beautifully. If you had small children, they would be in the lake from dawn to dusk at this fabulous property. We would definitely visit again; it was one of the best airbnb properties we have ever rented. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

An amazing place to unwind next to the lake and listen to the Loons in the evening. Erika went out of her way to accommodate our very last minute reservation and was extremely friendly and helpful throughout the process. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

Heronview Cottage is such a quaint and quiet place to stay and relax in the comfort of a cozy house with a fireplace, away from the hustle and bustle of the big city. Cam and Karley are wonderful hosts who made the trip so easy and had the place set up exactly as you’d want it! Everything is nicely kept, modern, clean and comfy. Perth is a quick drive and there is lots of shops and restaurants to enjoy. Cam and Karley had the place nicely stocked with supplies and tea/coffee which was greatly appreciated. The place is very cute with ample room to relax, cook, watch TV and play board games all in the presence of a lovely wood stove for enjoying a fire. There is plenty of space for the dog to run around and explore a little too! Thanks to Cam and Karley, we look forward to coming back soon to Heronview!

After a difficult week at home we found that Jen’s place was perfect for a getaway weekend by the water. It’s just what we needed. Jen s also an amazing host. Highly recommend her place.

Great stay, even in the middle of winter. Amenities are unfortunately shared but would be a great place to book with multiple groups of friends :) Would love to book again.
