The best house very nice I like

this place is perfect! my sister and I have been trying to find an Airbnb we can use every time we go to Galveston and I think we found it! the location is amazing, it was super clean, and they thought of everything! they have beach chairs, beach games, umbrellas etc. inside they had games and TONS of blankets. everything was thought through we will definitely be back

Debra and Philip made us feel right at home in the quaint home. The kitchen was well stocked and the home was clean and inviting. One block from Sylvan Beach and downtown LaPorte has a few fun shops and restaurants.

Without question, I consider my stay at this property to be the best air bnb experience I have ever had. In terms of synergy between property features, host, and location this property checked all boxes for me. Our arrival was seamless and the place squeaky clean. Brian, the host, was incredibly helpful throughout our stay, always responsive, and professional/polite. I stayed roughly four months and, if I have business again in Houston, would not think twice about rebooking. The property is located in the Heights area of Houston--a very nice, safe, area with plenty to do in terms of fun and restaurants for all people of all ages and preferences. In terms of practicality, this place is unbelievable convenient. HEB, Kroger, Walgreens, and Whole foods are all within a 5 min drive, which is an absolute blessing when facing Houston traffic. The large fenced in yard was great for my dog and that is not easy to find in Houston. I highly recommend this property to virtually anybody.

We enjoyed our stay. The house was as described. The beds were comfortable and the house was clean. Scott communicated well before and during our stay. We loved the location so close to Rice Village. We will look to stay here again in the future.

We loved staying here and really enjoyed how close we were to the beach and Galveston!! Gretchen and Al were so quick to respond and very respectful to us throughout our entire stay. We will definitely be staying at this property again in the future!!

My son and his friends had a great time at the beach and in the house. The house was the perfect set up for these teenage boys. The kitchen is so well stocked with plates and silverware, I came prepared, but that was an added amenity. The showers were well stocked with shampoo and things which I always appreciate. I also appreciated having all of the fixings for coffee to enjoy on the front porch. We had a great time! Thank you for sharing your lovely space with us.

Tara is a great host. We have stayed at 2 of her properties and both are amazing. Tara is very responsive. Very easy check in and out. I highly recommend her properties. We will definitely be booking with her again.

We had the most delightful weekend getaway at this charming house. The cozy house provided the perfect atmosphere for a relaxing escape with my husband. The highlight of our stay was definitely the heated pool. We spent hours relaxing in the water, enjoying the peaceful surroundings. The pool area was beautifully maintained and felt like our own private oasis. The accommodations were comfortable, and the decor was warm and inviting. Our hosts were incredibly kind and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed. We truly enjoyed every moment and can't recommend this place enough for couples or families looking for a cozy retreat.

We had 75 degree weather and rain for 5 days straight in July. Who would have thought?! Having the hot tub and fire pit really saved the trip for us. We did make it down to the beach each day for a couple hours but it was rainy and cool so we came back and warmed up in the hot tub. House was very clean and had a great selection of beach toys to borrow. Terrible mosquitos, but I think thats normal for the area and the amount of rain. Overall we had a nice time and would return. Jonathan was an amazing host even thought some stuff came up, he was 100% responsive and attentive, the house was absolutely beautiful, we will definitely book the place again in the future!

We could not have asked for a better experience! The home was absolutely beautiful…a true oasis and private paradise within 20 minutes of everything Houston has to offer! Well stocked, immaculate, beautifully decorated, and equipped for anything and everything…it truly was perfect! The host was incredibly kind, welcoming, thoughtful, and responsive…it just doesn’t get any better!!!! We can’t wait to stay here again…it truly was perfection!!!

Wonderful pool and hot tub in a gorgeous, tropical-landscaped setting. Really enjoyed the palapa at night with the glass fire pit. Continuously full ice machine. Accomodations were comfortable. Matthew is a very personable host and Eric was always helpful. One or the other was available in-person or by text to respond to our needs. Keemah restaurants (and boardwalk) are 10 minutes away. My husband and I will definitely return to this small piece of paradise to relax and unwind.

This was a special treat for my 5 older grandchildren. They loved the place, we enjoyed grilling outside by the water and made s’mores over the fire pit. This was a relaxing way to spend our evening after a full day in Galveston. Loved our stay!

Great place to stay! Host was very responsive, helpful, and nice! House was clean, well equipped, and in a very nice neighbor.

You will not find a better host than Gwen!! Awesome communication, very polite and accommodating. Her and her husband Sam went above and beyond for us when the tornado hit and we lost power for multiple days. They brought us a generator and bought a small ac unit for us to have. When we unexpectedly had to leave a month before our reservation was up, Gwen helped square everything away with the changes of dates and payments for us. The home is bigger than the pictures show!! Nice quiet neighborhood, spacious living room area, and perfect yard for our 2 dogs!! - even a doggy door for them. The house had everything we needed to enjoy our stay comfortably: cleaning supplies, toilet paper, paper towels, laundry detergent, pots and pans, silverware, plates, etc. We stayed here for 6 weeks and it was fabulous! Can not recommend enough :)

Place was nice! Mostly so thankful for a VERY last min booking. Our previous hotel fell through last min, so was able to book here and be in the apartment in the same hour! Easy self check in and out. Super thankful to have a place to stay last minute! THANK YOU!

The Beach house was the perfect place to relax and refresh after the Christmas Holidays! The living spaces and beds are comfortable and the views of the lake and beach are peaceful. The kitchen and grill were well equipped to prepare all our meals! The house is a short walk to the beach which we thoroughly enjoyed. The neighborhood is quiet. We will definitely return to enjoy another stay on Bolivar!

Great host and great home, I loved it. We had horrible mosquitos so couldn’t enjoy the downstairs area at all - it was worse than anything I’ve ever experienced in Bolivar. Hope it’s just for a season! I prefer beach access via vehicle so that’s the only downside to this location for me. We wanted a get away to have time with family and this fit the bill perfectly.

My grandparents loved the stay, it was really clean and very nice even though it seems to be an older building, it’s really well kept and felt like home.

I think the best way to describe this cottage is by describing what you can’t see in the pictures. 1. The beds are amazingly comfortable. 2. Ever have a problem with sleeping in during vacations bc of the light flooding into rooms at sunrise? Not here. The king room doesn’t have a window🩷. I am adding this in here because I know that so many will appreciate this feature. 3. The backyard is truly a den of privacy. The most skittish dog will feel comfortable & there are no neighboring dogs to amp up their anxiety. 4. The location! During our stay, I let my oldest teenager walk to the beach by herself in the morning. She felt safe at all times, and didn’t tire easily. 5. The plants! While you can see the beautiful, well kept lawn…you have to experience it to see the butterflies linger and flutter about. Bottom line- if you are on the fence about this place…go for it. I have never been so impressed with a stay (hotels included), in all of my years adulting.
