Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria - Cuenca del Guiniguada

I spent almost four weeks remote working from Raquel's apartment and found it brilliant. The location is so great, just minutes from Santa Catalina bus station and a short walk to the beach. There are plenty of shops, bars and restaurants nearby to choose from. The apartment is modern, was spotlessly clean and had everything I needed for my long stay. The broadband was super fast, over 250Mbps. It doesn't have air conditioning but opening the windows does give a nice breeze and the mosquito screens mean nothing gets inside. Raquel was always very quick to respond to messages. The check in was very straight forward and all instructions were very clear. The bottles of wine and water that were left for me were really appreciated! Just remember that it is in the centre of a big city so there is noise throughout the day and into the night. I had no problem with it but Raquel left ear plugs just in case! Overall I was really happy with my stay and I hope to return in the future.

The house is spotless and spacious in a beautiful and quiet place with beautiful sea view. Great location for hikers. Located at altitude this place is a little cool at that time, but Maria and Rafa offered to make a fire in the stove and brought us extra blankets very very quickly. They are lovely and welcomed us with little touches that we enjoyed. We would be happy to go back.

We were lucky to be the first guests in Juan's Airbnb. We could really feel that he put a lot of love and effort into making it very comfortable and cosy for guests. The apartment is located very close to the old city, which is great. Finally, Juan himself is very kind and helpful. It was a true pleasure to meet him and stay in his Airbnb. The house is well maintained and had all the essentials. It is situated in the old city close to many excellent restaurants. Transport links to other areas and towns in Gran Canaria are close by. The only slight downside is that being close to the centre it can get a bit noisy late at night but the benefits far out way a little loss of sleep.

GC super host is a great host, friendly and very reactive. The flat is just as described. everything was great. Thanks for everything.

Great Airbnb, actually smaller than expected, however, it did not bother us as the terrace with its great views of the surroundings and the mountains makes up for everything. Antonio once made us homemade khaki juice and was a reliable point of contact during the time. We were completely satisfied and would come back to stay any time.

Home as described. Clean. Missed some instructions on, among other things, wifi, but I got them through Isaac . It was a bit inaccurate in the listing about cleaning, so I did that myself. Could have used a folder with info about the area and instructions in English. I had a great stay and enjoyed the lovely terrace and the view. And great walks in the mountains.

We enjoyed our stay a lot, the beautiful sunset view and comfortable rooms. You need a car for comfort but can find a lot of walking routs around. Hotel access is good extra with pools, at the same time its adding extra noise:) Really recommended!

Cesar was a kind and generous host. The apartment was larger than we expected and excellent value. San Mateo is a beautiful village and we enjoyed the Sunday Farmers Market, cafes and bars. The supermarkets were well stocked with good quality food. As keen walkers, we used the local buses to explore and found many wonderful routes to suit different levels of walkers. San Mateo is at 850m so cooler than the coast. Outside of the summer, people who are used to beach holidays will need warm clothing for the morning and evening.

Absolutely a wonderful stay. Peaceful and a Hollywood style villa with a magnificent view. Totally loved Stefans place and can’t wait to book it agin.

We (8 people) felt very comfortable in the beautiful property. Ilse was a very good host, always took care of something immediately if something didn't work out. We enjoyed the accommodation very much. The property is large and spacious, the outdoor area is very nice. Here you can sit wonderfully on the terrace or swim in the beautiful pool. The kids used the pool several times a day, which was great. The property is very quiet and the house is equipped with everything you need. The location is excellent, about 10 km from Puerto Mogan, a beautiful little port town. Shops (Spar, Mercadonna) are nearby, good restaurants as well. Car hire is required. Somewhat disruptive were the dogs in the neighborhood, which also started barking at 3:00 at night. Otherwise, it was a great stay and vacation all around. Many thanks to Ilse!

We were a family of five adults who throughly enjoyed our charming Canarian compound. It was a beautiful historical home which created a warm and inviting place to spend our days and evenings. We especially loved the glassed-in area connecting the original structures, forming a large sunroom retreat. Our host, Victor, was very responsive to our questions/queries and gave us some great insight into Canarian culture. We also made use of the pool area and being December, we appreciated the high walls which blocked the cooler winds. On a side note, our kitchen was well equipped and we had everything we needed to cook up some delicious meals. We found the kitchen nook table area to be a really cosy gathering spot for our family dinners. We would highly recommend Victor’s family home for a relaxing and quiet vacation.

We really enjoyed Jose's fantastic villa I immediately felt at home, it was a special atmosphere. Having a great time with my husband and daughter together The view was amazing and Jose thought of everything. The house is very spacious and beautifully decorated, beds and shower perfect. A warm welcome with fruit and a gift We had wonderful sunny days. Book Jose's villa because you won't regret it. A car is useful for shopping. Jose was quick to answer all our questions and is a super host !!!

A lovely, tranquil place surrounded by greenery - totally private and quiet. Full of Canarian character, a lovely building. This is a perfect place to come and unwind.

We really enjoyed our stay at Villa La Linde. The villa is charming and the owners have clearly put a lot of love into the place. On arrival, everything was spotlessly clean and we were welcomed with cold drinks and fruit. The villa is very well equipped and we found it very comfortable. The only small issue is that the trees at the side of the property cast shade around the pool in the afternoons. This likely only happens in the winter months (we stayed late November) when the sun is lower in the sky. Overall, we wouldn't hesitate to stay again. Highly recommended.

Amazing place, definitely the best spot we stayed during our month long Gran Canaria trip. If i go back, this is the only place i would book.
