Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Lanesboro

The house was beautiful and exactly as described. Everything felt very clean and there were not a lot of checkout tasks. It was a very kid friendly house which we appreciated. We had issues getting inside with the keypad but they sent the neighbor over immediately to let us in. I’m ranking this Airbnb overall a 5 however the personal communication with the hosts was lacking. They had provided a phone number for us to reach out to with questions. There was a snow storm coming through the day before our checkout and we were worried about traveling. We also had part of our group sick with the flu. I messaged on the app and number provided to see if there was any flexibility for us to reschedule to another open weekend. We would have gladly accepted if they had said no to rescheduling because we were past the cancellation period however they never responded to me. The only messages I received from them were all automated from Airbnb. It was strange that they never followed up.

We loved this home! There are so many thoughtful details. The kitchen has everything we needed, to cook dinner and dessert. We appreciate the tea and tea kettle, and all the mugs, for a cozy winter weekend. The living room and dining room area is so comfortable. We loved the puzzles and games and records. Thank you again for a lovely place to stay!

This was a clean house with an incredible view of the Mississippi River and very close to town. The host is proactive with communications and everything was smooth. Note the drive is easy to miss so google maps is helpful. The drive is next to the drive of another house which goes down a sloping driveway.

This is an excellent house. Walking around the pond is very nice as well as great walks through the neighborhood. The house has lots of nice features and amenities. It is an easy drive to Mayo. Highly recommend staying with Joy.

This place is super cute and cozy. The host has thought about everything. Staying in the dead of winter, I appreciated how warm it was and the added touch of flannel sheets in the bed. And plenty of spices and cookware for making meals. I will rent this place again when in town visiting family!

We loved our stay at this cozy, beautiful home! A charming bungalow close to restaurants and shopping in downtown La Crosse, we were so comfortable hanging out in the wonderful living area we could have spent all our time there! The beds and bedrooms were comfy and restful, and the kitchen had everything we needed and more. The sun room and backyard would be wonderful in warmer weather. We would recommend this space to anyone looking for a fun stay in Wisconsin, and hope to return some day! All the beautiful touches made for a relaxing and perfect stay.

The house is very lovely and in a great location. We walked to get a pizza, walked to a coffee shop and were next door to another coffee shop. Levee Park is also very close by. We weren't able to enjoy the deck space because it was February but it looked very inviting. Adam was very easy to communicate with. We very much enjoyed our stay and would love to return sometime.

Great place to stay! Quiet and comfortable. Plenty of beds for everyone. We enjoyed our time and got to kick back and relax for the weekend. Well stocked kitchen, too!

Thank you Corinna and Mike for an awesome stay at Red Pines! Because I had to stay in Onalaska for 1 month, I had the opportunity to stay in their lodging twice. Both stays were amazing! Not only were the units so clean and well managed, but the owners are extremely friendly and quick to communicate. During my stay, they even changed to electronic door locks which make it even more convenient for guests to enter and exit the home. Not to mention, Red Pines Restaurant was a great alternative to at home meals! They also have a new cafe right below the lodging so that is open right before work! There is plenty of parking and the lake is absolutely beautiful at sunset. Everything about my stay was amazing! Thank you!

This space was perfect for our big group. Plenty of seating and sleeping arrangements for everyone with tons of extra towels, pillows, and bedding. The location is a quiet and private spot along the river with beautiful views. We liked that it was within walking distance from downtown Winona and loved hanging out around a fire at the end of the day. Julie went above and beyond as a host, was easy to communicate with, and flexible with our checkout time so we could spend more time enjoying each other’s company in her great space!

We felt immediately comfortable and able to relax, which was very important while my husband was going through treatment at Mayo. Hosts were very responsive and always wanting you to be comfortable. Grocery stores are very convenient and close. Excellent accommodations and outstanding hosts!

We really enjoyed our stay at Dawn and Christine's place. Communication was great, as was the instructions for finding and accessing the property. Great spot on the water with several neighborhood bars within a couple blocks. The place was spotless and had all described amenities. Easy check-in/check-out and we appreciated all the local recommendations. Would definitely stay again next time we are in Lacrosse.

We have stayed here several times and have always had an excellent experience. The Flat is truly as described and very well stocked for doing your own cooking if that's your thing. We always look forward to coming back!

We really enjoyed our stay in Evan and Kristen's Airbnb. They made it easy and convenient to check in and out. I was very impressed with how well-maintained the space is. It was very clean organized, and cozy, and the kitchen was well-stocked with good quality cooking utensils. It is in a beautiful location that is private and quiet, but it is an easy walk to town. I would definitely stay here again!

It was a very relaxing and cozy retreat, the place had a very homey and comfortable vibe. Every amenity that would be needed it had. Read a few books and enjoyed Decorah. It felt very private. Thanks for hosting us!

Stephanie’s cabin was just as described, it was quaint and quiet and simple. The gas fireplace is very nice. You’ll have to bring your own bedding and towels but for just the three of us that wasnt a big deal. The porch was lovely for coffee in the morning!

What an AMAZING TREASURE of a property!! We stayed in the middle cabin, which is conveniently closest to the restroom but not by any means “too close”. Despite having 3 cabins near each other, the views from the windows for the most part made us feel like we were the only cabin and completely surrounded by nature (the skylights with views of the tree tops from bed really took that “retreat” feeling over the top). Sweet bird chirps gently waking us up in the morning, a little hiking trail that was the perfect challenge and scenic level, and hands down the most shockingly clean and cute restrooms for a wooded surrounding just put icing on the cake. I’m very tempted to make the long drive back to check out some of the other properties she has that look equally as cool! Thanks for everything, Chelsi!

Great place to stay! Make sure to pack warm for the winter months!

The cabin is fairly large and has comfortable furniture. Very clean inside. No complaints but if you’re arriving after dark, you may want to request that he leave some lights on outside so you can figure out where the cabin is at and how to get inside.

For the most part the cabin was clean. But there was heavy dust on the top shelves, a cracked glass in the kitchen, and nowhere to put full trash bags…that I’m aware of anyways, so I had to leave two full garbage bags inside the house so the animals wouldn’t get in them.

This cabin is very clean and comfortable. It’s large enough to be adequate in terms of a place to rest, freshen up, and prepare a small meal. It’s not very private, as the front door of another cabin is less than 10 steps from your front door. But if all you are looking for is a clean, convenient place to base out of while enjoying outdoor activities and sightseeing, this is a great option, and the price is right. Highlights are a decent view of the river and a comfortable bed. There is a fire pit that is shared with the other cabin; it’s a pretty small pit so you won’t need much firewood. Jeff reached out the day after I arrived to check on my experience, which I appreciated. All in all, this was a great stay, and I will definitely consider staying here again!

This cabin was perfect! So beautiful and in a gorgeous location. Everything was so clean, cozy, and beautiful. Check in was a breeze as well. I will be returning when I visit the area! Cannot recommend enough!
