David’s place was an absolutely fabulous lakeside retreat—the perfect escape to melt away stress and recharge your mind, body, and soul. We were in town facilitating an event and only wish we could have stayed longer because this property truly feels like the Ritz-Carlton of private lake houses. Everything about this home exudes luxury and comfort, from the private dock and oversized deck with plenty of seating for the whole family to the fire pit for cozy evenings under the stars. The thoughtful details make all the difference—Smart TVs, double-headed jetted master showers, comfortable beds, and every little convenience you could hope for. David has gone above and beyond to ensure his guests have everything they need to feel at home during their stay. The accommodation was immaculately clean and tastefully decorated, providing a spacious and comfortable retreat. Very impressed by the attention to detail of this home that had all of the amenities you might need. The host‘s availability for prompt communication made the entire experience seamless. Overall, we had a wonderful time and would highly recommend this lovely place to anyone looking for a relaxing Airbnb experience!

Cathy's place was as described and she even offers a tea kettle which, in my experience, is rare for an Airbnb! Lake Jackson is directly across the street and there's a great view from the kitchen, living room, and master bedroom. The front and back patios are very nice, but unfortunately the weather didn't cooperate to where we could enjoy them much. The area is indeed walkable and Cathy's place is close to US 27 as well as a variety of restaurants and shopping. I'm not sure I'll ever be back in Sebring, but if I am, I will definitely check the availability of Cathy's place!

This home was everything anyone could want or expect.The pictures are not deceiving it's that and more.I would recommend this home to anyone and the neighbors are awesome.

We had such a wonderful weekend! The location of the house right on the lake and the layout of the house itself was so ideal for our group of 11. The house is super close to the cute downtown area and the location on the lake was a blast. Super responsive host and everything was sparkling clean. We will definitely be back!

This property was absolutely fantastic, we needed something quick, late in the day due to a bad experience at another property, and this host responded within the hour and was very welcoming. We even got to check in early, and the host went over the top to ensure our stay was accomodating. The house was absolutely stunning. Appliances were all new, everything worked and the Lake was right out the back door. We make trips twice a year to this area, and this was by far the best host, best house I have ever stayed in. The house had everything we needed and check out was a cinch! Highly, highly recommend this property!

We were recommended this place by a relative that had a great experience. We were also very pleased and wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. Beautiful lake setting! Wished we had a bit more time to take advantage of what the place had to offer (e.g., kayaks) but it was a short weekend for us and a cold weather snap.

The cottage is a nice place to get away too. Wonderful view of the lake the mornings on the front porch having coffee with the sunrise. We went to Bok Towers Gardens one day and Highlands Hammock State Park the next day excellent hiking. Kitchen has every you need to cook whatever you want I used the grill one night. The place was clean, good shower pressure, multiple TVs. I liked the front Florida room overall a cool place to stay for your time and Avon Park Florida area.

Beautiful lake house. We sat by the fire pit and watched the herons, an egret and a turtle family roam around in the water . As the sky slowly got dark, all the stars started to come out and we even saw Orion’s Belt. We will definitely be coming back to this little slice of nature’s paradise.

We had such a fantastic time with our friends and family, and the space was absolutely perfect for everyone. We especially loved how much room we had, the pristine beach and lake, and the clear fishing spots! Catching some fish was a real highlight. We're already talking about coming back again soon! Clean, quiet, peaceful and beautiful property. Hosts were very friendly and made us feel right at home. They were very accommodating for our huge dog. He had a blast running around and exploring. We had a great stay. Wish we could have stayed longer!

We always love staying even though we have to work it’s a beautiful spot to be creative. Take the canoe out.

From the time we walked in the front door we felt right at home. The house and yard were very clean and well cared for. We spent 6 weeks and absolutely loved the house. Even got to see a gator swimming by several times in the evenings and early mornings. Chad is a fantastic host that was very responsive and very quick to handle any issues that arose. We would defiantly not hesitate to stay in the future.

We had an incredible time at this house. It was spacious and fully appointed, including all the kitchen supplies and gadgets you could want. The pool and hot tub were gorgeous, as was the master bathroom. As parents of young kids, we especially appreciated the alarms on the doors that went to the pool deck, so we knew the kids were always safe. Lake Placid was a small little local town, more private than we expected, but perfect for the type of trip we were seeking. We stayed for a month and wish we could have stayed longer. The only drawback was the pool and hot tub heater that was very finicky. There were a few days toward the beginning of our trip where we just couldn’t get the water warm enough to swim. Juanita had a pool service come out and was able to get it fixed. We really appreciated that. We’re grateful for a fantastic host and a beautiful place to call home for a month.

Located in a nice neighborhood. Beds were comfortable, shower has great water pressure, everything was clean and the furniture was comfortable. Lawn and property was well kept. Alice was responsive when we had a little trouble with the automatic door opener but we soon got the hang of it. Very close to Winn Dixie grocery store for quick trips and about 10 minutes from downtown Lake Placid and Publix. Will be staying again.
