Nice affordable place in a safe neighborhood.

Doug was very responsive and took extra initiative to make sure we were taken care of, even as far as asking if we had any particular whole-bean coffee that we liked. Everything is labeled, so there is no question on how anything works, AND the picture does not do the view of the capital and lake justice. If we're back in Madison we will be back to this Air BnB

This lake house was amazing. It is completely updated. The view of the lake was incredible. Sitting by the fire and fishing. Could not have been better. The location to our events was great. Close to stores and restaurants. Just Dow the street from a park. It was perfect. I would definitely stay there again.

Stayed here for 2 weeks while we were visiting family and it couldn’t have been better. Home was lovely, well suited for what we needed and definitely kept the kids occupied with the toys and games that are available. Views were beautiful which is always a plus, would definitely book again for when we are back over. Couldn’t have hoped for a nicer place or hosts.

My sister and I were visiting family nearby over Christmas and need a place for everyone to stay. Fawn went above and beyond to create the perfect Christmas stay for our family. She communicated frequently and made sure to leave a pack'n'play, child's cot and stroller for the kids, and decorated the place to feel like Christmas. Plenty of space, nice winter views of the river, and a wonderful shower! Would definitely stay again!

Ben’s place was perfect! Modern, comfortable, VERY clean - - we had everything we needed! Ben checked in with us at least twice a day (via app/email) to make sure we had everything we needed to make our stay amazing! I’ve stayed in A lOT of air bnbs and I have never had anyone come close to how excellent Ben was at communicating and providing such a clean and comfortable stay. I’m pretty picky - and I have NEVER written a review - this is the first air bnb place and host that met all of my expectations. Thank you Ben! (I had sent A LOT of communications/requests that Ben responded to quickly. He accommodated all of my requests and was so polite with the barrage of requests I sent. I’m not always the easiest person to work with/please - - Ben went above and beyond!)

Benjamin is a standout host. He was very communicative about everything, professional and welcoming. The apartment is so peaceful and cozy, it was a perfect winter stay to break up the monotony of a cold January. The beds were VERY comfortable! I may have had the best sleep in a long while at this location. Don’t hesitate if you’re looking in this area; Ben will get you situated and informed of the location. 10/10 stay!

Alexander's flat in Madison was perfect for our stay. Right downtown, a stone's throw from the capital, and about a mile from the heart of the UW campus, this home was fantastic with a beautiful view of Lake Mendota. The best part of the experience was how easy it was to work with Alexander. He was very responsive to every question, he was proactive about giving us information needed for an easy and comfortable stay, and he was extremely thorough in the information needed about checking in and out of the apartment. All in, this was a great experience and I would absolutely stay here again. Thanks Alexander. - Joe S

Alex was incredibly flexible with our group’s varied check-ins and check-outs. Other members of my group met him and his partner and expressed that they were both very friendly and welcoming! It is an older building so the floors squeak a bit, but I have no complaints. We enjoyed Madison and this place was perfect for our stay. The sunroom overlooking the lake was unbelievable!

Valerie has a truly magical yard! It’s a great area to get away for a little R&R. The place comes stocked with everything you would need for your stay. We appreciated having a kitchen to cook our meals. The location is great if you like to hike or kayak. The river is a beautiful place to sit and enjoy a cup of coffee. Valerie was the best host we have had to date! She goes the extra mile to make sure your taken care of.

We had a wonderfully relaxing stay in this cozy, historic house. The place was exceptionally clean and thoughtfully stocked with snacks. The neighborhood was quiet, safe, and full of amenities within walking distance, making it a pleasure to explore. From the communication leading up to our stay to the smooth checkout process, everything about this experience was fantastic. I give it my highest recommendation!

We loved the property and it was great being so close to the lake! It was a little tough to find in the dark, but it’s super nice that the house is located on a private road.

This house was perfect for my big family! There were tons of board games and even a poker set that we used. The kitchen had everything we needed which includes knives, oil, seasonings, pots and pans, mixing bowls and even dishes for everyone. The upstairs room is a huge room that is the perfect hangout spot. There are two huge bean bags that we napped on, a dart board, a TV and small table that could be used for playing a board game. We loved waking up to seeing the sunrise over the lake. It was less than a 10 minute drive to Devil’s Head for us to go snowboarding.

Oh my gosh- what an incredible short weekend! Linda was a great communicator and left helpful tips and area recommendations. It was a cold weekend, so the fireplace was perfect! Everything was well thought out- I loved being able to swivel to watch the fire and the lake! We visited Sunset and Island Bar and Grill per Host’s recommendation and they were super friendly and on the water. Also visited several antique shops downtown. The home itself had everything we needed. It was tidy and comfortable with phenomenal attention to detail. We planned to go to relax and this spot did not disappoint. Location was perfect across from the lake and minutes to downtown although it still felt private. Hope to make it back in summer too!

Very cozy and clean. Plenty of games and toys provided to keep kids entertained, with lots of features that add to the experience overall (like the fireplace heater). Comfortable beds, and a beautiful view onto the lake. We would definitely stay here again.

The house was exactly as shown in the pictures. The lake and location on the lake was very pleasant. Communication was timely. We had a great time.

This place is a lovely little cottage on the lake - the pics and description make it sound small and cozy, but I found it to be quite comfortably sized. we really enjoyed our time on the lake, and were able to explore Madison and Stoughton easily from the location. Brian was a wonderful communicator and super responsive to any issues. I would highly recommend this place, and would definitely stay here again!
